1.
WOW!!!  How is that nerve doing that I hit? I believe I said earlier that Beaumont has some great students and teachers.  Congratulations for having some of those in the family.  You should be proud.
Uhh, no.  Why would you think that?  BTW, you still didn't answer my last question. Thanks for the compliment.
 2. I agree with you there.  The name of the stadium is not the best name as stated.  But me and a lot of others are not going to cry over spilled milk. Now, you make mention of what can be done with the money.  All of the things (the things that you bring mention and the things that we have) are optional.  Those are things we can do without.  An indoor facility?  Why not just practice outside?  A top of the line weight room?  Will a NORMAL weight room be sufficient?  I agree with you.  We cold do without the BISD police and we can use regular trucks instead of the King Ranch.  And who said we were in competition with Spring or any other place?  We need to do what it takes to make us successful.  Chain of comand to move a scaffold?  All I have to say about that is WOW.  Just like you've stated, you moved it in 2 minutes, right?
 3.
I. Was thinking.the samething. All to his right-hand side too.
The coach should have told that on the ball defender that.  One handed dribblers are the easiest to contain.
 4. Who said I was a Thomas supporter?  And since BISD is bigger than Dayton ISD, that makes Dayton irrelivant to the conversation?  Hogwash!  You are darn right Dayton have their problems, and I very well could fire away on it, but I won't because I'm smart enough to know that NO district is perfect.  Just for future reference, just make sure that YOUR back yard is clean before you start slinging mud.  I'll leave it at that.  We have kids that are getting a great education and we have teachers and 'higher ups' that are doing a great job steering them in the right direction.  In 2012, I will have several relatives graduating and look forward to them being a productive addition to society, thanks to home upbringing and GOOD roll models and teachers at these schools.  Test scores looked good.  The only reason BISD failed to hit Recognized is because of ONE school. Just one.  If one school does not hit recognized, the district cannot obtain that status.  By the way, where was Dayton ISD ranked.  Just curious?
 5. There is NO way you let that young man get in the paint like that.  Stop the ball.  Horrible defense...  and it cost them the game.
 6. An Overtime win is great experience for a young team.  Great confidence builder.  They will need to get a lot better if they want to get with Ozen, Central, or Nederland.  Hopefully, they'll gain some experience from their next tournament.
 7.
Sorry for taking so long to get back with you all.  Is Dayton utopia?  No, everywhere has it's problems.  But when the state of Texas cannot set the passing standards for the new tests that are coming out until they get the results in from Houston, Dallas and Beaumont (their tests will be graded first) then you can surmise it is to see where the passing standards have to be set and how low they must be set.  You really do not think that Governor Perry would allow for the state's new tests to fall flat on it's face, do you?  If you set the passing standard before the test, which is when it should be set, and the big districts fail, that does not look good for a presidential nominee.  So really I guess I mis-spoke when I called Beaumont, Dallas, and Houston ISD a joke.  They are really failures that will be made successful by a joke of a Governor that is trying to be President. Is everyone in these districts failures, absolutely not!!!  There are some great teachers and great students in these districts, and a lot of them.  They just get overshadowed by the majority.  I bet I know where the response to this post is going!!!
Seems like you're reaching just to prove a point that isn't there at all.  These 'Big' districts are failures, right?  Is that what you want to refer to them now?(nice way to clean it up).  You throw the governer in?  And now before I begin to rip you apart, you Make mention that you know what I'm going to say.  Come on, then.  What will I say about Dayton ISD?  (This is going to be fun.  This will save me more typing.  ;) )
 8. Basically, if ANYTHING happens, just blame Dr. Thomas and be done with it.  uandme08 , I wish the Kids at Ozen the best of luck.  I happen to know several Ozen kids and they are great kids.  (not thugs or hoolums).  I'll be there to root them on come graduation this Spring.
 9.

Extreme class act in Coach Stump!!! Better things are ahead for him!!!  WB's loss, BISD's ignorance. .....same old, same old.  No worries, fb fans in Beaumont, they still have the Palace.  Quality Coaching, quality teaching  still doesn't matter to BISD.
So is there only quality coaching and teaching at WB? Was Coach Stump the only quality coach in BISD? I beg to differ if so. One of my sons graduated from Ozen and received a quality education. Just as my other son is at  Ozen now and is receiving a quality education and has received quality coaching thus far, no the programs haven't been all successful but he is there to learn more than to winning. Yes, BISD has its share of problems just as any other district. Each child is offered the same learning experience as the next one which shows in the magnet programs accepting students from all 3 high schools. All 3 high schools rate fairly well with the amount of academic and athletic scholarships at the end of the school year. Not sure that Coach Stump feels that any child will be left behind because of his departure.
I will now applaud this post.

And i'm gonna let the picture do my talking for me.  8)
I was at this game.  You showed this pictured almost at the end of the game.  Central fans were there.  Most of the fans left after halftime.  Most couldn't stand to watch it anymore.  Show the stands of Central side last  year or any other year.  As you have seen from most of my posts about Central's football team this year, Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could see what the problem was.  Find the 2010 outright district champion Jaguars side of the stands at the Vidor game or any game and let's see.

 15. I'm pretty confident that the field house situation will be straightened out by next football season.  And When/if this is done, what will be the excuse next of why West Brook can't get a quality coach?

 21. Yes, but that was within the same City and a transfer from private school to public school does not warrent a sit out of any time to play...  for example, Joe Chaisson Kelly to West Brook and J'covan Brown Kelly to PA Memorial.

That stadium was much needed. After attending freshman and jv games at West Brook and at Babes Zaharias I clearly saw this. There is no way that either stadium was "acceptable". There's no way that the support from WB and 5A schools would have held up at their stadium. Babe Zaharias was falling apart and Ozen only has one side of bleachers. So I guess logically it was feasible to continue paying Lamar for use of their facility. On another note, I guess Dr. Thomas is to blame for Stump's wife working for Mobil and having to relocate her office to the Woodlands?
Good points.

SgtRey, We can do a radio show...  Ring the bell!  ;D ;D :D :D
