2.
How can you compete without a fieldhouse? Please someone just answer that question.
It was unfortunate that they didn't have a field house.  It wasn't there and the West Brook program moved on.  They did pretty good this year.  Beaumont Bowl champions...Gave the State runner up PA Memorial all they wanted and some...  made the playoffs.. and had a chance to beat Deer Park in the first round.  They did all of this without a fieldhouse, and probably could have done it without the HC for the Bruins crying every week on TV.
 3.
Why is it so hard to admit the kids at WB are getting screwed because of incompetence from the leaders in BISD. These same guys who are talking all this junk about WB if this was happening at Central or Ozen they lips would be poked out and mad as heck.
So again, this is really not about Football, right?  It's  your arena to make little comments about BISD higher ups, just as the media and local people that have no idea what they speak.
 4.
West brook had less than 40 freshman show up and finished with low 30 numbers , hardly 5 a numbers , again if you no not what you are talking about stop
If you would pay more attention to what I was typing instead of being a smart butt, you would realize what's going on.  Listen closely.  compare West Brook's freshmen turnout to Central's and Ozens.  Now the point that you're making is that West Brook don't turn out that many freshmen.  Common sense would tell you that they won't turn out as much as other schools in their district because West Brook does have other High Schools in the district.  Also, Memorial's numbers are probably up becuase they have ONE high school in their district, and that is when their kids are not changing to Port Neches and Nederland.  Let's see.  LaPorte have one High School, and so does North Shore.  Baytown Sterling's numbers are going away fast due to Goose Creek Memorial's  increasing numbers.
 5.
Soulja it's been a long time since you and I have had a discussion but you have to know that can not be true for all times.  Suitting up in a 5a uniform does not give you 5a talent. WB was in no way intended to be the "football school" in Beaumont but like I was told dearing the birth of New Hebert.  Win and they show up. But even that does not assure they will just "automatically " come here.  The hand your dealt.  Soulja your killing me.  Everyone else in the area including PA looks at their cards and begins to shufful them a whole two years before BISD schools can even peak.
Yes, West Brook is the football school.  Ask the Middle School athletes and they'll tell you.  If you want to win and perhaps move no the the next level after High school.  Yes, West Brook does have 5a talent.  Ozen did have most of West Brook's talent at one point but the talent returned to West Brook just as fast as Ozen's decline. Did you not see this? The  hand that your're dealt.  The players that show up for 2 a days  is who you have to work with, which shows they show up an far more abundance in the West End as shown with the huge freshmen group that West Brook pulls in vs. what Central and Ozen have.
 6.
Soulja and dove you have no idea what you speak of. You are told to run a 5a program on a 2a budget and you have NO control over your middle schools , if it were the school of choice then it would had been done, not bisd s fault if they had done the bid process right the first time wb would be in a field house, so don't go there
You're soooo lost.  Crybabies caused this.  The reason why?  It's a long story, but I'm sure if you have been reading the newspaper for the last year, you would know what I'm talking about.  I'll leave it at just that.
 7.
I would expect it more if you knew who you were getting in the 7th grade.
How about take the cards you are dealt?  You're a 5a program.  The talent is always there.  Everyone knows that West Brook is the football school in Beaumont and will automatically get the better talented athletes that we have to offer.
 8. The pay?  You knew what the pay is before taking the job, and I'm willing to bet that the pay is a heck of a lot better than at Kelly, which was probably the reason for the move.  Just speculation...
 9. Yall have owned  us, which is a Major accomplishment, but with all the talent that have came through the halls of West Brook within the last 5 years, would you not expect a state championship appearence especially when you had arguably the best running back in the state at one time?
 10. Coach Stump have been crying in the media for a few months about the 'no field house to hang the trophy'.  If he don't like it and he wants to leave, He is more than welcome to go about his merry way.  West Brook's talent is there and is in place and will do fine if he chooses another route
 11. Some of you guys come on here spouting off all kinds of foolishness out of the side of your neck.  the reason the weight room and field house have not been finished had nothing to do with BISD.  It was the crying crying contractors that 'claim' they have the lowest bid and a stop work order was placed so the work could not continue.
 12. Dove, I agree.  Ozen's Gym is bigger than ours and have way better parking. I think these games can be played at Lamar.  I would also suggest that the games are played both at Ozen since the is no real homecourt advantage as there are just as many fans at these games.  The girls teams are great.  Central dominated Ozen girls for the last few years.  Central girls have lost a lot to Graduation and Ozen's young guns from last years state championship runner up appear to seasoned upperclassmen, so yes, they're great and will attract crowds as well.
 13.

Ummm...  Since no one answered my question, I assume that no one dunked.  8)
There was 1 dunk.
I see.  So that why the running dunk stat was not initially mentioned.  1 dunk is not talkworthy?
 14. Ummm...  Since no one answered my question, I assume that no one dunked.  8)
 15. Maybe so...  You're supposed to pull out all of your stops when district starts...  Or maybe it was ivigston thought they could look past PN-G...
 16. PN-G have some talent.  They played us close in the Nederland Tounement.
 17. I was actually keeping up with the dunk count  and I don't recall K. Smith getting a dunk, however, Trey Green did get one in the first quarter as he punched one in on a fast break.
