It's that most of the really good players that walk the halls on Pheland Blvd.  don't suit up to play for the current coach.  There is no real push for a change because to be honest, parents or fans could give a flip about WB Basketball as everyone is a fan of football.  Everyone likes the current staff because they are 'good people', but does this mean they are good coaches? 

Rockets, Baby!  We are getting nearer to blastoff!  Clutch City!

Yes, Same thing with us.  Only 2 games (vs. H-J and vs. West Brook) were played at our place.  Everything else was on the road.

I think the homecourt advantage will be more of a nonfactor since there will be just as many Central Fans as Ozen fans in attendence.  We'll cancel each other out. 

It wouldn't suprise me.  But, I believe that the last few years that we've been beating Ozen...  Those wins have been in Ozen's gym, I believe. 

@ Ozen on the second leg of a huge doubleheader...  Central/Ozen Girls matchup first... 

Prediction for me is Central 45-42 in a struggle to kick district off.

No, He should be a senior, unless he took a year off before going to college.  At Central, He was a Senior and K. Smith was a Freshmen.  Now, K. Smith is a Senior, which means that Gulley should be a Senior.

First meeting, we got the W in the YMBL tourney.

No excuses, but 2 of our big were out, and one of them is 6'6".  WB's Center killed us on the boards big time.  Not to mention that our 3 point shooting, which was something that they gave us all night, were not falling.  Very unfortunate.  But when this is not happening,  you have to keep driving to the basket.  Although at one point, they wouldn't call a foul for anything, you have to keep driving.  Good win for Brook to keep the momentum going for their good showing at the Nederland tourney.  Central will have to suck it up and pull it together for another road game against another Beaumont neighbor, Ozen, whom we're very familiar with.  We've got to start this district race off right.

We should have the same players that took the floor in the first win over West Brook, which is a plus. 

So, Is Gulley a Senior or Jr. this  year?

Who's keeping up with the dunk tracker stat?  Keep me posted!  8)

They'll make noise just because they gave Memorial all they wanted and some? Just so you know, Memorial took losses to Nederland and Central..  So, I don't think the top tier of the district may not be too worried about the Lions...
