There is absolutely no truth to this! I am sick and tired of folks coming on here and making these outlandish comments about the number of folks returning!!! If you are going to post about WO-S returning, be serious and get it right! THE NUMBER IS 40!!!! :P :P :P
:o :o ;D ;D

Nederland Tournament Fav?!!!
BMTSoulja1 replied to State Champs 17's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Nederland will be able to use their size in this one. Silsbee is lightening quick, but I have questions on weather the Tiger smaller defenders will be able to disrupt the Nederland shooters when closing out on them. If they are able to disrupt this, then this game could be interesting. The really interesting part here is that both Nederland and Silsbee have played and been pretty successful against the 'Big Boys'. -
I'll trade your overtime loss for our 32 point halftime deficit!
Yea, Good way to look at it. And WO-S looked like a pretty decent team when I last saw them. They actually wasn't really that bad when the played Nederland last time. What's going on? Is that little shooter #4 not getting any good outside looks?
PAM was down 60-51 with 2 minutes left, then preceded to outscore Central 10-1 to end regulation, then 4-0 in OT. A 14-1 run to defeat Central.
This is what happens when you sit on the bench and you refuse to get up and actually draw up a play to get your best player in the best positions to score. You do NOT end a game like that. No way possible. I'veseen this Memorial team. Truth be told, the game Tuesday wasn't supposed to even go into OT. Coaches need to sit down and re-evaluate their methods. We need points in the clutch, there should be plays drawn up and ready to go. a quick screen, quick post up,draw a foul, something. when the other team holds the ball, you're athletic enough to go out and get them. You don't stand around waiting. Just like the football team, there is talent that will yet again get squandered throughout the year. We've go to get it together, seriously.

Yes, he, IMO, was one of the best scorers to come though Central. Pretty good to say the least especially since he wasn't the most athletic kid you've seen. He found a way to put the ball in the basket.
Interesting concept you just reminded of, most people don't know the difference between a scorer and shooter.
He wasn't a shooter, I can tell you that. ;D
Sounds like he is a scorer. Shooters will get you in trouble when they go cold.
The ONLY time Gulley used to get you in trouble is when he decides to start playing lazy defense like going under picks instead of over them or stupid reaching.
