HJ will play a zone
That may work.  Actually, that's a good idea.  Our players have not proven yet that they can CONSISTANTLY hit the outside J.  We can hit them, but i'm not sure about consistance.  This will show me a lot about my team.
If you are referring to matching up man to man, I beg to differ.  I am of the opinion that if you are not shooting a decent percentage from the perimeter, it might not be as easy as you think.  Furthermore, I dont think you have anyone on the perimeter to stop Prudhomme from getting a shot off unless there is a 6'3" guard that I dont know about.
We have some athletic kids that may give him trouble.  I've seen him play before and I Know Prudhomme is a beast.  At the same time, who will check Smith?  How will keep our bigs from having their way down low?  Also, what will H-J do if we are able to figure out your pressing defense?

 9. Probably so.  They seem high strung last night.

 11. We'll try hard to make it 3!  8) 8)
 12. It's funny that you say that.  Smith had the ball the most out of any Central player last night and was not once called for palming the ball.
 13.
I do sit on our side from time to time but I pay for it. Its like all the negative peoplee sit next to me  and I could just scream. My Pooh its crazy how our fans look at you if you make some noise trying to support the team; Games are suppose to be loud and energized. People who dont like should stay home, for some its their first game of the season anyway.
I've been to a ton of Memorial games and have sat on the home side, sometimes with you.  The problem is the old school fans.  they're so busy screaming SFA, Lincoln, or T-J and don't realize that those teams don't exist anymore.  Let it go.  Root for these current kids.  They're a good team and need support.  I hear all this 'If this were at Lincoln' or 'we didn't have this problem at T-J.  The bad thing about it is that these old school dudes do this around recently graduated Memorial kids and players, teaching them the same foolishness.
 14. We mostly use Smith to bring the ball upcourt.  I've seen Garrison running some pg, most of the time, when Smith is on the bench.
 15. I figured that into the equation.  I figured if I show up in speedos, he would change his mind of even wrestling me.  lol
 16. I'll wrestle it away from him. I'm not scurred!
 17.
#24 for WB is Jordan Green......Not sure Zeno's number but tall.lanky, mini fro Post with handles....but went to Vincent together.  Zeno and Wilridge the freshman from Central are cousins.  Also kin to da Dove and all have ties to AAU ball with Defenders Select. Way to go guys
Ok.  the tall kid.  I understand now.  From where I was sitting, #24 from West Brook made that team go last night with his quickness and penetration.  He just couldn't really do much damage with our length.
 18.
Whats there to explain?  Its self explanatory.  This happens at alot of schools across the nation.  Parents send their kids to schools that are gonna be more helpful in allowing them to be seen by college coaches (athletic reasons).  HF....no basketball history OZEN.....state championship....long playoff runs....sends players to colleges/nba Come on be honest.....What looks more inviting?
Seems to me that you are implying that Ozen 'recruits'.  That's what I was under the impression that you meant.  Surely, you don't mean that.
BS is not a bad team where did u get that from I hope not from your brain. I have seen NS play one time in my life i will tell u one more time. I am not a NS fan. :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
Ok, if they're not bad, I'm sure they're better than any team in Beaumont, because you know 'how BISD is'.  Sucky, right?  Isn't this what you've implied before?
 20. Dawson is a really good team and will be the Bulldog's biggest test.  However, I'm confident in Big Ned's coaching so I'm sure you will see wrinkles in the offense since the opposing coach is expecting 'nothing spectacular' from the Bulldog offense.  I'm not worried about the defense of Nederland.  They'll show up as they have all year.  Go and get them, Bulldogs!
 21.
Im pullin for the Horns and im an alumni but lets be honest here HF doesn't have much talent and the Coach doesn't have a positive word to say.  NO shooters on the team...3s nor pull up jump shots.  They have one big and thats all he is, they have no true PG....he left to go to university of ozen.  The players play timid as if they re scared to make a mistake......THATS THE COACHE'S FAULT.  Its gonna be a brutal beat down when HJ and HF face off......the horns will be hornless and neutered after that game
Explain.

 24.

Its the same reason nobody wants to see LSU and Alabama in the BCS title game. From the outside, its more impressive when you have 70 points scored in a game. It took overtime for LSU and Bama to score 15 points combined, but they are the two best teams in the country. Nederland makes plays when they have to. We turned the ball over too much in the Stratford game. It shouldve never been that close. The redzone turnovers kill you. Most teams dont overcome that, but teams with good defenses can because you dont have to play catch-up. Ill take this type of Nederland team over a flashy offense any day. Think about the 4th quarter effect. A great defense will set your offense up to grind down the opponents defense. By the 4th quarter, when that defense has been on the field a lot, it benefits your offense. Goes back to the saying, "the best offense is a good defense."
In my humble opinion, I couldn't have said it better. Every one of the district games this year was a knock down, drag out fight to the end that could go either way between the four teams. I believe that PNG had an easy game with Ozen because they were missing Trey Green when they played. However, I also believe PNG would still be playing if they hadn't run into a very good, well coached Dayton team.
No, Rob.  Green did play against PN-G.  Now, the question is was he all the way healthy at this point?  Probably not, but he did play.  PN-G just brought it that night.  I didn't go to the game, but I got play by play updates on that game and Trey Green definatly was in the game.
