Soulja, you going to be at the game?
There is a strong possibility.  8)
Yes LETS GO OZEN :)
Ok.  I see.  Just a football cheer fan.  Ok.  That's cool.  The team needs all kinds of support.  Ozen's Fastest.  Where are you?  I want to hear what you have to say.
 3. This game will be very interesting since Vidor have a long week to prepare for this team.  Cool temeratures favor this rugged Vidor team and Montgomery will probably be their toughest test yet.  Vidor have overcame all challenges presented to this with pinpoint blocking schemes, strong running, and a proven leader by an underlassmen QB.  They defend the pass well and they have enough speed to play bend don't break football and will keep your offense off the field.  I don't know what Montgomery have, but they will be in for a heck of a game.  If you're not a football fan, you may not want to be in attendence.  Vidor won't be having big plays, flashy runs and jukes, but will move the football.  The last couple of weeks, Vidor  have not turned the ball over often.  Montgomery was a tough team last year as well.  Let's just hope they don't overlook this 'small, slow' team or they'll be scratching their heads after the game.

 6. As another poster stared, this Ozen team can be very very good or not good.  Hope they come out not good.  If they come out fired up, you may see an upset.  Their Offense rises to the challenge and have been playinng red hot.  Ozen's defense will be the key.  They have the athletes out there, but will they be ready to gp and not be intimidated by this team?  I'll make my prediction later this week.

 8. I know im a day late on this, butbi was at this game.  PN-G had their chances.  Dayton's run defense was pretty good in containing Bertrand.  Thebthing that ive seen was that Dayon had no answer for #4 recieving the ball.  They went away from him in the second half and it came back to bite them.  Also, that last pass atempt that was intercepted was not needed.  Keep the short stuff going.nevertheless, great season, Indians as i was rooting you on last night.  Its hard for me to believe this team had 2 district losses.  They have big play ability, are well coached, defense was fast.  You wore the Indian defense out with the side to side passes.  Indian players on defense had to run sideline to sideline most of the night.  The most important thing is the Dayton kicker.  Ive never seen a single kicking performance like that in person.  That kid kicked into the wind with room to spare.  His kickoffs sailed into the endzone. We,ll definately be seeing this kid on Sarurdays and most likely on Sundays as well.  Thanks to the Indian nation that showed love when i showed up to root them on.  Very nice talking football with yall.
 9. # 11 for Crosby... What grade is he in? He looked great Thursday as well.
 10. LMBO!!!  Yall are hilarious!
 11.
Great game Ozen.  The QB is one special athlete.  Great game BH, you played your hearts out, just came up a little short. It OK hating on me and a few others, heck we lose so often in the playoffs we are used too it.  Now, if you think that will prevent a small amount more smack, well.....not today my friend.... ;D ;D Good luck Ozen going forward.  Today is the day the sweep of 19-4A is completed.  Going to be a long season next year........... ;) :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-* :-*
I told you.  No one listened, though.  Real football is played West of the Trinity, obviously! ;) ;)
 12.

Obviously, you have not been to many BH sporting events from youth to high school. Something in the water there changes people when they move there. I love the way they come out and support their teams but they absolutley have this superior attitude or status because they live there. Nice to proud of where you live but never forget where you came from! So many "move ins" over the last 10 years have forgotten where they came from. IMO! They complain about every play, every call that does not go their way. Excuses made for everything not going there way. They had an excellent team and they should be proud but they were bound to get beat by a "just as discplined and more athletic team". They had an excellent coach before this coach arrived. He came with an excellent resume and many were ready to run him out of town after the first loss to Dayton last year. These kids play hard, tough, disciplined football without many of the natural athletes of other schools. IMO, Price would do well at GCM with his system. Just an opinion...
I love my Eagles and always will, but I have to agree on most points. Things are different out here than when I played back in the cave man days. I love that our town supports our teams, but they have an unreal expectation of what our players are capable of. We have some talent, but nothing compared to Ozens QB. Most teams we play have more skilled position talent than we do...it's just the facts of life. Why can't folks see that, but they don't. Example: My son was playing flag football years ago in the 1st or 2nd grade. I over heard a father telling a lady that some of these boys are good enough to play Pro ball someday...what? You can't know that in the 1st or 2nd grade only playing flag ball...I was floored!! I hear stuff similar to that kind of thinking all the time. We have just enough talent to go one or two rounds in the playoffs, then we are just out matched. Thats ok though, many team never get that...it's saying something if you can do that consistently. We ran off Price because we thought we should win a State Championship...come on folks. Now we got the coaching gawd Ronnie Gage and what happens, with some of the best talent we've had since 2006, maybe since 1999, we are one and done. I guess we need to fire him and bring in the next coaching great. Not trying to be unloyal to my community...I just don't understand some of our people. There is an unreal expectation around here...my god I would love for us to win a State Title too, and it will happen again someday, but we have a long way to go. I'm proud of our kids!! They played the hound out of a much more talented team, and almost pulled it out. If I were an Ozen fan I would be real concerned about your defense, its not good...Yall need to start preparing for basketball a week from now. We moved the ball, with a couple exceptions, at will. Your facing a team this week that is strong on both sides of the ball...doesn't playin your favor. So I'm proud of our kids, they have nothing to hang their heads about. Our fans on the other hand need to come back to reality. Still love my Eagles!!!!
Ozen's defense is not that good? Newsflash. Ozen is a 4th seeded team. They barely made the playoffs.  You should have beat this team easily on paper, but yoy didn't. Don't try to justify your loss or start mud slinging at Ozen by talking about their defense.  Their defense did good enough to win and stop drives. Give them and their defense props.  Wish them luck.  They actually stand a chance of beating Bernham, not getting ready for basketball season.
You mean out of bounds up against a bench? Then you are right my friend, football is played clean here. We don't have to take cheap shots like Barbra's Hill.... Lmbo :-D
Wow!  LOL!
Whats  funny bmtsoulja1 who are yall playing this week again?
Just always remember this.  The ant mound is 0-fer vs. us.
Kind of like yall almost went 0-fer in district play this year.  Luckily yall pulled out the victory in that pillow fight against LCM.  Better luck next year.
Who is you're high school football team? Barbers Hill?

 16.
can I have a Bronco hide throw rug after tomorrow night? I got a stuffed cougar kitten, a pair of patriot pants with the butt bitten out of it by a Bulldog, and some eagle feathers left over from feeding the Panther. Working on a stuffed bear this coming Friday.
;D ;D ;D ;D
 17. LOL...  I love it! you don't play 'real Football when you lose to a 'horrible team on your homefield'. I'm just sayin...

 19. Congrads on the win, Panthers! I love all the Ant Hill jokes as they come up a little short to a 'terrible team' grom Beaumont.  (isnt that how Ozen was described in their breakdown of the game?)  If Ozen is trash, I want to hear your postgame post on what you think of the Ant Mound. An 'all world ' district champion loss to a 'petty team' that had a .500 record, last in the district, and had to win 3 in a row with help just to make the playoffs. Come on out, BH fams.  Eat your ice cream topped crow and love it. 2006 playoff appearance = 2011 playoff apearence...

 21. Hey Rob, perfect rundown. Aplause for you, my man.
 22. I was in attendance at this game last night and didn't have time to post my observations. Big congrads on Vidor for their first playoff win in ages.  Crosby is a good team with those twins and #11.  They al have some get up and go and the acrobatic leaping catch when showed on the jumbotron screen were awesome.  This team athleticwis should have put up a better game than this.  But I've heard that the twins are sophmores (somebody correct me if I'm wrong).  They'll be back strong again next year and I feel sorry for who draws them next year. Nice looking team. (ps...  One of the twins got frustrated at the end of the game and threw his helmet down.  Hang in there, kid.  Yall will be in it next year in the same position) Vidor?  What can I say about them.  They played GREAT playoff football.  I'll start with offense. The thing that stuck out to me was that all the running plays, they were not ONCE called for holding.  That's excellent football.  Major props to Matthews and company.  Vidor's offense was not stopped except for the initial drive and that was on a faulse start penalty.  Other than that, the Pirate offense were not denied.  # 23 for Vidor was a man tonight.  This kid, without doupt will win MVP of the year.  He runs with a purpose and with heart.  Clark (who me and the neigboring fans referred to as 'Big Boy') made me proud.  That's the way a 'big Nasty is supposed to play.  Play of the day?  The Vidor RB (i forgot on what play) hit the sideline and trucked a Crosby tackler and they showed it on the big screen.  We went nuts. Vidor's defense is what was most impressive.  They didn't back down nor was intimidated by the twin's speed (and boy, those twins can flat out fly). They made good tackles (for the most part as the twins broke free on some long plays) and took excellent angles to make the tackle on much faster and quicker players.  This is the aspect of the game that made me pick Vidor in this game.  #23 was a tackling machine as usual.  Very deceptive speed as most of the starting Vidor defense.  They withstood Crosby surges and played bend don't break football, until late in the 4th.  Then they went and got that QB!  It was a pleasure and worth my admission last night to see these pirates again. (This is the 3rd Vidor game this year for me).  Makes me proud to be a fan that's part of the most pationate district in the state of texas.  Sail on, Pirates.  Sail on!
