2.
Singleton from PAM gets my vote. He has, by far, gone up against alot tougher defenses than anyone else mentioned on this thread. Nothing against any of those guys, but I think he's better.
Very good explaination!  Better competition and great numbers.  IMO, I just think that Singleton has a better all around team.  Put Green on that Memorial team and you will see similar or better numbers, IMO.
 3.
I think the Jags come out mad after last week.  They could surprise some people this week.
The only way is if R. Mitchell comes back.  Even with him back, it's a long stretch.
 4.
Man. When Soulja give up on his team things are really bad in BMT. I'm gonna say Vidor wins this one for the community and a playoff berth!!!!  :o
I know.  I've seen Vidor play, and their good.  I've seen us play 7 times, and we're not very good.  It's that simple.  We can't draw up a game plan to even make games competitive by attacking the oponent's weaknesses.
 5.
Central's fans have gone from picking their team to beat the best team in the district on the road last week to completely giving up on the team and coaching staff this week? Come on man! These are high school kids and coaches! Just remember, a team is never as GOOD or BAD as their last game... It happens so often... Just look at the Tampa Bay Bucs yesterday. Awful in all phases two weeks ago in a blowout road loss at 49ers and turn back around and look great vs. Saints. You never know...
It's obvious we're not that good.  In both games vs. Livingston and Nederland, we as a whole gave NO effort.  I have never seen that with a Jag team all but a few times.  the times I've seen it, we ended seasons 1-9 (2004) and 3-7 (2007).  The injury to the Mitchell boys didn't help either.
 6. Just wishful thinking, wouldn't it be something if we decided to NOW play with some urgency and come out and look like a Central Jaguars team this late in the mix?  Maybe Mitchelle will find his way back into the starting linup to play.  Maybe, maybe maybe.
 7. With Larry, Curley, and Moe in attendence, It's always difficult to believe.
 8.
Memorials Jhajuan Seales this kid has a great set of hands. Great speed!! Go Titans!!!
Right here!
 9. Green, IMO is the best, but you don't have a chance to see what this kid can do because of...  well, you know what I'm going to say.  ;D

 11. West Brook's defense is not too shabby.  Memorial will not be scoring 40+ points in this one.  However, WB won't be winning either.  Titans - 28 Bruins - 14
 12. It'll be a Vidor/Ozen type game.  I say 28-21 Lions.
 13. Major prayers given to this young man, his family, the community, and for the entire Vidor Football program from Beaumont!
 14. It's tough picking against your team.  We're not really used to this in Jaguar land.  But I'm sure brighter days are on the horizon.  Also, I want to also give my prayers to the Vidor kid that died.  Our prayers are to him, his family and the Pirate football team.
 15.

I've picked in t he poll, but I decline to let anyone know who I picked.  ;D ;D
Come on Soulja, that's sorry, you need to tell us who you voted for, you don't ever say, you know you want to say, but that's not right, and if you did say, I'm sure you would say PNG, because your a PNG hater, just like everyone on here, and you are a cool cat.  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Hang on, am I whinning? Just trying to get them votes up :'( :'( :'( :'( ;D 8)
You're not going to bait me in, no matter how tempting...  So I'll say...  NO COMMENT.  ;) ;) ;D ;D
 16.
Vidor playing to secure a playoff spot, you better believe central will walk away with a loss.
Ha ha!!  You remember my Friday night Saturday morning rant, don't you?  ;D
 17. Vidor will PASS for over 300 yards on us because....  just because they can.  On offense, we'll run the play that don't work 50 times and the one that worked just once.
 18. I've picked in t he poll, but I decline to let anyone know who I picked.  ;D ;D
 19. it was a combination of both.  Either way it goes, you could hang your hat on that defens.
 20.
BmtSoulja1,  I feel for you, It has to stink watching what I saw friday night at Nederland, That's NOT JAG FOOTBALL. I expected us to win, but I expected yall to play some defense, my son played on that 04 team that spanked Central, and this was just as bad, I saw no fire from anyone, except the band. Something has to be done, Central has some of the best athletes around and I'll just leave it at that.
Thanks.  Great observation.  I agree.
 21.

2008, was our historical run year.  Stowers left shortly after.  2009 was Stower's leftover talent, which were underclassmen when he was there.2010 was a benefit of a good senior group with Ogletree, Heard, and Alfred.  Heard bailed us out on a lot of questionable situations, as he was a big play just waiting to happen.  We won district, but could that be credited to the district being down?  At this point, in 2010, you can see the young guns from Nederland and Livingston being scrappy and you knew they were going to be something serious this year.  Even after the loss to Humble last year in the playoffs, after being up by 2 scores early, after losing, instead of saying that we lost (obviously because of outcoaching), he went on TV to say that we were outmanned by that team.  Now that didn't sit well with me or any Central fan that was actually at the game. This year, you start with brand new.  NOW you have to coach these kids.  No stower's leftovers, no big playmakers on offense.  Now what do you do?  We looked mediocre at best even with Mitchell in the game.  And even before that, Mitchell's passing game got worst from last year (part of the reason is because our receivers can't catch a cold). Who was working with this kid in the offseason?  Now, we get exploited every single week. And on top of that, I never see any fire on the sidelines.  We have kids with defeat in their body language. Our staff's playcalling also confirmes that the kids are not the only ones defeated. [/quote Sounds like the story of the PAM Titans man ya'll ok. Seems like every team in 20-4a misses the playoffs once in 5 years Except the bttm two "try hard teams" LCM and Lumberton even they are not push over. Last year Livingston sit out the playoffs this year it just looks like it's ya'll turn to sit out. Central JV has one lost(I think) and will have a slew of talent coming back in 2012. Replacing Huard is a big chore forget the off the field issues he was good. That's a big piece to replace. I totally agree with the WR issue but that happens when you put a kid in to SMU that plays as a true Freshman. Those where Stower's players but man the discipline and fundmentals of football where there. Do me a favor give the guy one more year at least. Be careful what you ask for. I remember ya'll was ready to get rid of Stowers too when he first started out.
Not really.  Stowers first year won an outright district title in 2005. No one wanted him gone.  I liked him...
 22. With an offense that features 4 very good backs, the loss of one that averages almost 10 yards per carry will be missed.  They will still be good, but Bull Mayes yardage will be missed.  They'll still have a good showing in the playoffs, though.
