1. 2008, was our historical run year.  Stowers left shortly after.  2009 was Stower's leftover talent, which were underclassmen when he was there.2010 was a benefit of a good senior group with Ogletree, Heard, and Alfred.  Heard bailed us out on a lot of questionable situations, as he was a big play just waiting to happen.  We won district, but could that be credited to the district being down?  At this point, in 2010, you can see the young guns from Nederland and Livingston being scrappy and you knew they were going to be something serious this year.  Even after the loss to Humble last year in the playoffs, after being up by 2 scores early, after losing, instead of saying that we lost (obviously because of outcoaching), he went on TV to say that we were outmanned by that team.  Now that didn't sit well with me or any Central fan that was actually at the game. This year, you start with brand new.  NOW you have to coach these kids.  No stower's leftovers, no big playmakers on offense.  Now what do you do?  We looked mediocre at best even with Mitchell in the game.  And even before that, Mitchell's passing game got worst from last year (part of the reason is because our receivers can't catch a cold). Who was working with this kid in the offseason?  Now, we get exploited every single week. And on top of that, I never see any fire on the sidelines.  We have kids with defeat in their body language. Our staff's playcalling also confirmes that the kids are not the only ones defeated.
 2. I agree.  Plays should have been run to the edges all nigt after that first 3 and out with 3 consecutive runs up the middle.  Lets see if they can chase us around the edges. They know our blocking have been suspect all year.  How do you expect them to all of a sudden know how to block a superior D-Line? When you drop back for a pass, why was there no type of rollout pass to keep the d-Line from Ting off on the QB? No fire or urgence from my Jags will land them at home for the postleason for the first time since 2007.  Not discrediting Nederland, but there are things that could have been tried that was abandoned.  Yes, to sum it up, we were dominated in EVERY aspect of football last night.  (Nederland's drives began on the 50 yard line all night.)
 3. you forgot another stat..  5,000 3 and outs for the jag offense.  I've never seen a more pitiful performance in all my life.
 4. Truth of the matter is that we went braindead  again just like in the Livingston game.  This makes us not a good team.  If the scouting report say dont run in the middle of the Nederland defense and you continue to get stuffed, sometging in your head should go off and say stop doing that.  Nope. We keep on. Congrads on the win.  We wont beat vidor.  We will lose to Lumberton.  We will sure in the hell lose to PN-G. TIME TO CLEAN HOUSE.
 5. Congrads Nederland.  You were great on both sides of the ball.  You were well coached and exploited ALL of our weaknesses and did a great job of masking your own.    I believe big ford said that we need new OC and DC.  I dissagree.  EVERYONE needs to go.  We need a coach not from that buddy system.  We need coaches to let our kids understand that its not an option not to be competitive. We need peope to bring Jag football back.  I didnt see it at all.  I dont think ill attend another game this year.  Im done.  nederland will make some major noise in these playoffs.  Im sure i will be seeing some quality football following the Nederland football.  Someone needs to take notes.
 6. Halftime here.  After the first drive (3 and out) with all 3 plays  going in the middle, one would think you need to try an alternate approach.  We can't block, Nederland's strength is in the middle.  Lets run to the outside.  When you run sweeps, you cut back into the conjested middle.  Lets hit the outside. Lets throw quick passes.  Why are we giving the nederland receivers 10 yard cusions?  Why can't we tackle?  MOST importantly, why the heck can't we block ANYONE?  I sware, 'Old School' mentality at it's best being displaed here.  We're getting severely outcoached once again.  It's really painfull to watch.  Nederland, on the other hand an do absolutely anything they want. The only way drives don't go forward for them is on holding calls,  the play after, they always get the first down.  On defense, they are great tacklers and are beasting in the middle. If we don't come out with some fire in our butts, we'll get ran off the field and someone will go to thw pappers and tell them l we were just outmanned'.  Placing the blame on the kids.  I'm out.  Hopefully, we'll get a couple of drives together.  I'm out!
 7. Trust me, that 's not a problem.  I know all the back roads to either get to Twin City or 69.  I just didn't feel like walking far.  ;D
 8. I remember that kid. He was very accurate.  He had a really good reciever.  I think his name was Hare (sp)?  Anyways, he had a good reciever and he found him often and put up huge numbers.  I don't know about the deep ball, though.
 9. So, It's accross Nederland Avenue accross from a Church by Burger Depot?  Comming from 69 on nederland avenue, what side of the road is it?
 10.
Dustin Hood, Nederland.....could hit Ryan Butler in the numbers. Best I have seen.
I was just going to say that.  Hood did have an arm and would always find Butler for the deep ball.

See ya after the game. lol
All I have to say, James, is another stroll in the park.  Another year, another game vs. the Bulldogs...  Another W.  We see a dog in the park.  We catch a dog, then we throw them in the pound.  Just you're regular days work.  ;D ;D ;) ;)
Thats the problem with ya Soulja1, you think you are dealing with some cute dogs in a park, you are coming to the pound, where one wonders, "Who let the dogs Out!!!!!" you guys remember the defense of 04 and the outcome of that game, well, get ready for repeat.....Gonna be a long night for the Cougs,,,,,,,,,
Man, you are something else.  That 2004 Jag team that yall put it on was 1-9 for the season.  We didn't score our first points of the season untill week 5, vs. that Nederland team, and it was on a Safety.  That team was pathetic in every aspect.  Do you want to hang  your hat on that?  Ok, go right ahead, James!  You should know better!  ;) ;)

Turning the light out in Vidor is not ideal for some families and friends.
Why not?
Yea!  ??? ???
 14.
Yep....Silsbee BC game.  Soulja didnt even list it!  I guess he cant stand the fact that a couple of 3a teams might be able to beat his kitty cats. :D
lol.  ONE down year and the jokes come a rolling left and right.  ;D
 15.
The Best Game tonight will be at the boneyard in Vidor. Its Vidor's homecoming and we are facing our orange county "rivals" lol. But it is our homecoming and we have the best homecoming show in the State of Texas.
He said Game, not Halftime.  ;D ;D  That game will be all Vidor, all day.
 16. My suggestions in order: 1. Friday North Shore vs. West Brood @ Da Butch 2. PA Memorial vs. Channelview @ Stalworth Stadium (Saturday game) 3. Ozen @ Port Neches @ The Rez 4. Central @ Nederland

 19.
He could play some defense to as well as ret.kicks/punts.I believe A&M recruited him as athelete ;)
They did have him as an athlete.  I don't know if he played KR or PR for Livingston, but I do think he played defense some.
 20. I think it's against the rules if you tackle him hard and he does not have the ball.  ;) ;)
