Lets get it, men!

As long as we run plays that are fit for the personel (especially missing Mitchell).  Ww need to get back to 3 point stances and power running (Central Football).  We need to get the New QB acclimated with more playing time.  I'm sure he will only get better.  They may be the game to do it.  Mitchell going down may actually be a blessing as we (and our Staff) will realize that there may be several other players that will rise to the challenge in Mitchell's absence.  LC-M - 14 Central - 17

This Livingston team will be built for the playoffs.  With the addition of a passing game and a really strong running game, you as a defender are left with a pick your poison type decision.  You will not fully stop the run.  But if you fully commit to stopping the run, you will get burned deep.  Play calling is very good on the offensive end for Livingston. 

Man, this will be the game of the week in my book.  Both of these teams are good.  I'm thinking about getting a ride from BigD or Scooter to this game.  I'll miss a Central game for this one.  Athletes all over the place.  Big guys up front.  Memorial's first real test.  What can you ask for?  Hard to pick a winner!

Ozen is the 2011 version of the regular Central Jaguars.  Just flip flopped.  Instead of the dominant running game and mediocre passing game, Ozen posesses a dominant passing game and a medeocre running game, that is actually becoming very very good, may I add.  they are playing great defense and have great athletes and speed.  I'm very impressed by them and hope to be attending some Ozen Playoff games this year.  Keep riding that wave, Panthers.  Keep surfing!  Hopefully, we'll pull it together and Join you.

I will add this.  Livingston will not be scoring anything in the 20's in points this year in district.  They will be in the 30's or 40's.  Someon will need to outscore them.  Nederland is perfectly capable of doing this under Neumann's scheme, but will they execute?

Goodness gracious, this thread have gotten wound up and in so early of the week!.  Vidor, don't dunderestimate this Ozen team.  The X factor is their running game.  They are slowly piling on the yards, which makes the passing attack that much potent.  Ozen will be the most athletic team you've faced.  Yeoj is right.  They have great speed.  But it comes down to trench warfare.  Vidor may have the edge here but the game will come down to key turnovers in the second half.  I see Vidor putting the ball on the ground befor Ozen.  Soooo.. All is good and dandy with Mitchell, and it's good that it's just a bruise.  It's good to hear that we have reliable backups in the wind..  But, what about the MAJOR problem?  How will THAT be fixed to salvage the season?
