Any body that knows football know that if you have QB in the spread offense that can flat out run, you dont keep him in the pocket to throw all the time.. PAM average about 16-18 throws a games.. If defenders wants to turn and run with WRs or drop deep in coverge then you let your QB drill them with his running ability.. Seals is a good one the kid takes 7 yard hitch routes to the house for 80 just ask BMT Central..lol
NO COMMENT.
Singleton is not the whole team. You can take him out and replace him with someone like Green, or Mitchell or anyone else of equal talent and that team will be putting up the same numbers as it was with singleton. Not saying the kid isn't good. He's great but he's very fortunate to have a team like that around him and it shows in his stats too.
Good point!

Saturday Morning Headlines 10/22/2011
BMTSoulja1 replied to BMTSoulja1's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
The 'Curse' is lifted as lightening strikes seen on the horizon at Memorial Stadium. No one can do anything against the wild Bulldogs on a loose. Animal control from Lumberton, Texas called in to no effect. Fancy new tune heard in North Orange Friday night... 'dee.... dee.... dee dee deeeeee..... dee, dee, dee, deeeee, dee.. dee, dee, dee.'. (You know, THAT song. lol) Weather is a little chilly, so Pirates sport their new Jaguar fur coats. Plenty of Purina cat chow on hand at 'Da Butch' Saturday night. -
Singleton from PAM gets my vote. He has, by far, gone up against alot tougher defenses than anyone else mentioned on this thread. Nothing against any of those guys, but I think he's better.
Very good explaination! Better competition and great numbers. IMO, I just think that Singleton has a better all around team. Put Green on that Memorial team and you will see similar or better numbers, IMO.
I think the Jags come out mad after last week. They could surprise some people this week.
The only way is if R. Mitchell comes back. Even with him back, it's a long stretch. -
Man. When Soulja give up on his team things are really bad in BMT. I'm gonna say Vidor wins this one for the community and a playoff berth!!!! :o
I know. I've seen Vidor play, and their good. I've seen us play 7 times, and we're not very good. It's that simple. We can't draw up a game plan to even make games competitive by attacking the oponent's weaknesses. -
Central's fans have gone from picking their team to beat the best team in the district on the road last week to completely giving up on the team and coaching staff this week? Come on man! These are high school kids and coaches! Just remember, a team is never as GOOD or BAD as their last game... It happens so often... Just look at the Tampa Bay Bucs yesterday. Awful in all phases two weeks ago in a blowout road loss at 49ers and turn back around and look great vs. Saints. You never know...
It's obvious we're not that good. In both games vs. Livingston and Nederland, we as a whole gave NO effort. I have never seen that with a Jag team all but a few times. the times I've seen it, we ended seasons 1-9 (2004) and 3-7 (2007). The injury to the Mitchell boys didn't help either. -

Just wishful thinking, wouldn't it be something if we decided to NOW play with some urgency and come out and look like a Central Jaguars team this late in the mix? Maybe Mitchelle will find his way back into the starting linup to play. Maybe, maybe maybe. -

Vidor vs. Central Predictions

It's tough picking against your team. We're not really used to this in Jaguar land. But I'm sure brighter days are on the horizon. Also, I want to also give my prayers to the Vidor kid that died. Our prayers are to him, his family and the Pirate football team. -

Vidor will PASS for over 300 yards on us because.... just because they can. On offense, we'll run the play that don't work 50 times and the one that worked just once. -
I've picked in t he poll, but I decline to let anyone know who I picked. ;D ;D
