oh yes i have and i have seen some powerhouses this year and i am not trying to down memorial i hope they go far but they have alot to fix.
At this point of the season, there are a lot of teams that need to fix a lot.  But I an tell you this. Memorial probably have the less things to fix than any team around here, that includes your Indians and my Jags. They play teams on their schedule and they are beating them in convincing fasion. I think they will go far in the playoffs. I think they will beat NS this year

 3. hey, 82, all I have to say is ' you're good. That COULDN'T have been me'.  (concerning 'the situation')
 4.
I disagree that Eisenhower was terrible.... Where they a Port Arthur Memorial, or even Central? No.... but I was really impressed Jacolby Watson and Donald Catalon on the ground.... Watson has a rocket arm, but not accurate enough.... I thought the defense was outstanding in the first half and complacent in the second half.... They got a little intensity back in the OT.... Stump once again had a phenomenal game, very accurate, and if it weren't for the last series in regulation, his stats would even look better.... I was happy that Jalen Malone and Percy Johnson were big parts of the offense tonight.... Central took both of them out of the game last week.... 82, you want someone to step up and be the go to guy on offense? I'll say that #8 may already be the leader of that unit.... He needs Percy and Jalen and the rest of those receivers to help him, but he gets it done... If I'm not mistaken, West Brook has not had a turnover, and that's how you get to 3-0....
Well said!  8) 8)
 5. The long Galveston trip too a lot out of me, so I had to wait to post. Due to the Ferry delay (car broke down on Ferry), I was late, and wasn't happy about it. I arived in the second quarter.  As I was entering the building, there was a TF being scored by Central to make it 21-7 Jags..  What I do notice is that the same suspect play calling still persists after 3 weeks of football on both the offensive side of the ball and defensive. That team shouldn't have scored at all.  And on offense, we should have scored on 80% of our possessions.  Another thing. Since I missed the first quarter, I assume I missed the 80 yards of passint since I didn't see us complete one pass play (maybe I'm exagerating). I have a list of things that we can improve on for district. 1. Receivers, you have to want to catch the bal.  It won't come right to you every time.  Sometimes you have to go and get it 2.  My Qb will need to look downfield firlst befor looking at his medium, short, or his guy in the flats. 3 weeks in a row, the long guy is open down field. 3.  Stop doing stupid stuff after long plays/successful drives. Last week against West Brook, we passed the ball to set up a 1st down in their red zone.  Also last week, there was an 80 yard run for a TD.  The insuing possession, we allow an 80 yard TD return for West Brook.  Shortly after, we were faced with 4th and a mile (4 and 20 I believe).  This week, we get a huge run.  The play afterwards, a fumble.  Last night, we have a scoring opportunity Deep in Ball's terretory. We bog down and had to rely on a 33 yard FG. This week, we also allowed a huge kickoff return right after a score. 4. Please, take snaps from under Center.  I've been saying this since for 2 years now.    We run better from under center.  Would set up the pass. 5. #22 should be starting RB, IMO.  He's the bigger back (it showed on one long run as he broke like 5 tackles for a huge gain), looks like he have more explosion out the backfield, and seems to be a home run hitter once in open space(#21 is about 5'7" 150 lbs and he got run down by a D-Linemen from Ball). 6.  Open the playbook.  I see these same plays that I've been seeing since week 0.  A lot of them didn't work in week 0 and still have yet to work now. Things that I did like: 1. Our Kicker is legit!  He kicked several kickoffs out the back of the end zone and connected on all of his extra point attempts.  He also hit the 33 yarder.  Not to mention on the long Kickoff return fro Ball, he slowed down the Ball returner enough to where other players could atch him. 2.  I see we are blitzing on big downs to distrupt the opposing offense.  I like that. 3. Defense are showing swagger by laying bone crushing hits 4.Our CB are not playing 15 yards off the receiver anymore (now, only 5 yards). 5. On offense, our O-Line is blocking even better. 6.  D-lines looked pretty good for the second week in a row.  I like our chances going into district.  I just hope that the 2 week break (bye) will have us enough time to get it together and begin our defense of our 2010 20-4a district crown. (if there are any typos, please excuse me.  This was posted from the Cell Phone)
 6. 21-14 Central at halftime.  Once again..  Well nevermind.  I'l wait 'till after the game to comment...  Just know that I'm not impressed at all whatsoever.
 7. Scooter, you jumped on the Memorial Bandwagon at just the right time, my man!  I havn't heard any talk of Lufkin in quite a few years.  8) 8)
 8. Ok, guys.  Settle down a little with the talk about these coaches.  They are both good coaches and will have their respective teams ready for district.
 9.
Headlines:  Tornado season in question this year. No Tornado touchdowns sighted in Galveston during Jag game as Central blew away any hopes of a Galveston Ball win.    ;D
Y'all must be trying to make this week of Headlines the best ever!  ;D ;D
 10.
Jags show their "cat like reflexes" as they bounce back and tear through Ball with a "Tornado" like  WIN!!!
I likes!!!
 11. Memorial breaks 50.  56-14 Titans.
 12. Congrads to the Lions on the win.  They only played who's on their schedule.  But, what this game shows is that Livingston will be mirror images of last year.  Very powerful  offense with a not so great defense. There is no way you allow Washington to score that many points.  But that offense they run will negate that. They put the pressure on your offense to score. They'll do fine.  They will need to go from being a bad defensive team to an average defense to make good on a possible district crown.
 13.
I been around SoulJa. Got tired of some of the non-sports verbage people use on these sights.....just wanta talk sports and smack about sports. Don't like it when it gets personal. Also, my job takes me a lot of places....headed to Thailand next week for two months...gonna miss my Pirates....it's all good though. Sure wanted to see another Central - Vidor battle....always a great game!!! Hope you and your family are well and I'll try to not be a stranger.
14.
Bring back Todd Waters!
I actually liked his offensive playcalling.  Did counter runs at the right time.  Called option plays when he saw the opposing DE not playing disciplined.  He ran trap plays when he saw the O-Line were dominating the D-Linemen.  He called pass plays when he absolutely knew the other team were not expecting it.  I agree, though.  Since he left with the previous coach, let it be.  We can't cry over spilled milk.
 15.
Well played SoulJa!!!! How ya' been???
I've been alright, Man.  Where you been hiding?
 16.
HEADLINE: Dogs choke on the Flex bone. Barbers Hill scores 49 and, Beats the Bulldogs one more time. With a knick-knack, paddy whack, And a good flex bone, They send them Dogs a-limping home.  ;D
Good one!!    ;D ;D
 17.
Why, he did not have a clue in the box, what's gonna change his dumb play calls? Screens,Slants ever heard of them, I would rather see you go back under center and run the option rather than this non-existing spread, just a thought! Find some offense Mr. Imonthesideline!!!!!!
Let's try not to call him out like that.  I do someone agree with some  of what you said.  Hopefully, the playcalling will improve before district starts.  I don't care where he wants to post up at.  He can sit in the stands next to me if he wants.  As long as we start moving that ball like we should, I don't care.
 18.
Who will win this weekend?  If you are playing an HISD team, that is good news!  Big game in the Triangle will be in Nederland where the Bulldogs and the Eagles will play a barn burner.  If you are west of the Trinity (aka Houston area) the game to be at will be in Angleton, where two of the top Houston area schools lock horns on the gridiron.  The Angleton and Dayton game should be worth the price of admisssion.  Find out who wins by clicking on the link...
