4.
And for the record, don't put a lot of stock into a scrimmage, no matter who it was against... I'm not a believer in basing a team's talent off of a scrimmage... It's pre-season and you don't show it all!!!
That's true.  I know.
 5.
Looking forward to broadcasting this one Friday night at The Butch!!!! Both teams have great QB play, and I'm ready to watch them go at it!!!!
I agree.  I look forward to it as well.  I hope my Jags have an impressive showing and battle with those 2 Memorial blue chipper players (Singleton and Holmes).
Thats what it said..Central and Ozen were the 2 biggest money losers in football. I would recommend reading the article. Pretty good info in there. I thought the paper did a pretty good job. You cant say that every day about the beaumont surprize and its local sports coverage.
True.

Would you really call it a slap in the face? It was only a scrimmage. If it was a full game... i cant even imagine what the score would be.. Don't wanna over exaggerate here but I would say it wasn't that bad a lose compared to what it could have been.  8)
So your saying if it would of been a real game that the coogs would of really  kick some butt , huh !  " Now thats a slap in the face " The Coogs have a great team no doubt!  One of the rare schools with 3a numbers that have 40 players on their roster that could play on most 5a teams and that being said with only 9 band members ( do the math before you get to pompous )
I'm saying if it were a real game the score would be even higher than it was, i'm thinking 5 to 6 scores at the most.. But what ever the case, Central's defense would have had an unmistakable hand print on their faces (if it were a real game). This scrimmage was a basic run-thru for both teams. I was trying to give you guys confidence saying it wasn't that bad a loss. lol But this is just my opinion, don't take it to heart.
Wow!  You gathered a 6 score victory based off of a scrimmage in August?  By the way, you do know that 2 or 3rd team defenses and offenses would not have been in the game.  Again, I do admit.  We would have lost, but you don't do it by 6 scores.  Thats talking foolish.
Considering Central only had 1 first down the entire scrimmage, or so i read, I summed up 5 scores to be the MOST not the LEAST that La Marque could have scored in a real down. They play hard all 4 quarter and traditionally harder in the 4th than any other. But once again, this is just my opinion base off previous knowledge and what i've seen in practices. Don't take it to heart, but also don't forget that this is a playoff caliber team. Their success will come down to how well they use what they have and if they can avoid injuries late in the season. No disrespect intended.
8) 8) 8) 8)  Good luck on yall's march to state.  With that defense, there will be a lot of frustrated O-Coordinators in yall's path.
 12. I like it.  And I agree with being able to see those page numbers easier.

 19. I'm predicting Dayton to win.  That means that I think Elkins will score 26 points, Not Dayton.
