1. Actually, Vidor can talk.  They know what it takes to be a contender.  Tha 2009 team made the playoffs and was pretty darn good.  Some of them know what they are talking about.

I've talked to a reliable contact that's an Ozen fan and have word that they have a really good running back that was a freshman last year that was held back from Varsity by the parents (not by coachs).  I trust my contact's words so... 1.The Ozen Kid (Jacoby Jones? is this him?) 2. Antonio White (Livingston) 3. Devonte Mays (Livingston) 4. Chase Bertrand (PN-G) 5. Brilon Douglas (LC-M)
Ya that's him.  I think he was sophomore last year, but he very well could have been a freshman.  I think he will have a break out year.
It may be a good year, but may not be 'breakout'.  I've also heard that Ozen's O-line won't be spectacular.  I think He'll be right up there numberwise to the Livingston RB's and Bertrand.  I don't think He'll be running away from the pack, though.

But my favorite Staff was the coaching staff from 07 when Central lost to Brenham in the 2nd round under Stowers.
That wasn't '07.  We missed the playoffs in '07.  Remember, tthat was the team led by Derrick Hall and little Brother Charlie Thomas (now at Texas A&M).  The '05 team (hurrican Rita season) won district championship and lost in the second round to Brenham (led by that blue chipper QB).

I got png at 1 or 2 with central at the other.
No way. I think PNG will be good but not that good. They lost there quarterback and there head hunting nasty line. I think they will be good enough to make the playoffs maybe. And as for Central they lost the most players out of anyone so they will be middle runners. I look for Livingston, Nederland, and Vidor to be the teams to beat.
This sounds about accurate.
 6. I know one from 20-4a that may be getting D-1 offers left and right...  Ozen QB David Green III.

 16.
The three returning players on the line that got playing time last year are biggins. OT K. Nicotre - 6'2" 270 (three year starter at LT. Missed a couple games last year with injury) OT N. Stasinos - 6'5" 260 (took over for Nicotre when he was injured and played very well) OG Reasons - 6'2" 250 (got some PT last year as a Soph and did well. I hear he has a bit of a mean streak?) Also you guys left out one of those big nasties last year that is often overlooked, but had a great season in Patrick Braud (RG 6'2" 265). Can't expect the same results as last year, but that is not saying this group won't be good. Last years group was probably the best line of all time at PNG. So if this group is half as good then they will be stout.
Basically, you won't be lacking size up front...
 17. I like the Vidor/Central rivalry.  Those guys play us tough all the time.  No bad blood either...  Just a field of kids giving their all... Just for laughs...  Can we mention a Dayton / L-Train rivalry?

 19. That '09 team's o-line were huge!
 20. I agree.  I think the ball should be thrown at least 3 times a drive for this offense to be successfull.  I don't want pass attempts, I want completions.  Because if you don't complete those passes, you will probably end up in 2 or 3rd and long.  Also, teams will not repect your passing game at all and just load the box.
 21. Once again, No Comment...
 22. Well, Livinston runs the exact same offense and they make it work.  Central ran a wishbone offense in 2008 and we marched 4 rounds deep in the playoffs with that.  I think the running offense do work.  I think the best time to pass the ball is when the offense is lined up in a run formation.  You catch the defense off guard and you have teams with probably 1 or 2 true defensive backs on the field.  I think Vidor needs to keep doing what they are doing.  They just need to complete the passes when they are thrown.  The percentage should be high.
