Thanks again, Steven Pitts
Decided to take a shot at us?  Did you actually hear what he was saying?  In a loud gym (and it was loud) any coach appears to be yelling. Anyways, Congrads on this great season by Big Ned.  You've been worthy of your state ranking thus far.
I was right behind him....He kept asking the ref to make the students sit down and quiet down.  I wasn't talking about the coach yelling but the fans.......Wasn't meant to be a shot....just showing what a tough fan-base can do to distract the other team.
The energy at that game was great.

 4.
PNG wins a close one due to it being at home.  Especially, if they have the short white ref that called the Ned @ PNG game or Central @ PNG game. :P
Ooooh!  So that was the same guy, huh?  Wow!  Interesting...
 5. PN-G lost @ Vidor 61-52 in the first half of district...
 6.
At PNG
Since I know this, PN-G wins!
 7. The West Enders don't talk about Basketball much.  They're all football...
Actually PNG parking is alot better starting this year. They tore down a wing and made more parking spaces, as well as an area across from the bus barn. It's not great, but a whole lot better then it was last year.
Anything is better than it was.  PN-G's stadium is top notch, but that parking was horrible.
Careful Soulja, that last comment might label you as a hater. ;)
Ohh...  My bad!  ;D ;D
 9.
For Nederland undefeated champs please see a baseball, softball, or volleyball board. Never in basketball.
Well, they have a chance to do it.  Ozen is their only real roadblock.  Let's see if the Bulldogs will break through...

 11. Especially if you have to park on the far north end of the parking lot.  You will have to walk the length of the parking lot and then the distance between the montagne Center and the Stadium.  Good way to burn calories... ;D
 12.
What district number is this district?
24-4a...
 13. Nederland have 2 6'5" bigs, but Ozen have 1 6'8" kid that have the length that can bother Nederland. Ozen still does have weapons at their disposal.  It will be interesting to see how Ozen plays this one...
 14.
68-62 ...looks close but nederland outplays em for FULL four quarters.  8)
This score would be about right if they played a few weeks ago.  Right now, Ozen will need to find consistant scoring to keep up with Nederland and I'm not sure if they can.  I predict 59-45 final...
 15. Good win for the Titans.  Should I start singing the 'Mighty Mighty Titans' song?

I thought about trying to find you at the Central/Humble game, but it got so cold, I didn't want to move much! If Washington loosens the rains on Mitchell and lets him run some more, Central could have a big run. FWood looses Metzhold, Dawson will take a step back, Angleton will drop back, Humble looks tuff. Big school region 3 could be up for the taking this year? Unfortunately I don't see Washington changing his stripes. As for DII...As much as it pains me to say it, It's all LaMarque! Even Brenham won't get past the Coogs. I think we will see an Aledo/Lamarque rematch. Probably withe the same outcome.
Mitchel is athletic and runs good, but what makes him special since he was in Middle school is that he throws lasers.  They want him to be able to pass the ball in the pocket.  I believe the coach figured out that his running ability could be great later on in games when the defense is tired.  I think the rains will be a lot looser as he will be a Junior and 3rd year on varsity, second year starting.  Yes, it was cold at the Humble game.  No one wanted to move!  I don't blame you!  Friendswood will continue to be good.  A couple of years ago, F'Wood had a blue chipper QB and when they lost him, I thought F'Wood would be ready to beat.  But that Metzhold proved me wrong.
 17.

1. Central(2) 2. Livingston(1) 3. PNG 4. LCM 5. Vidor 6. Ozen 7. Nederland 8. Lumberton huge battle between 3-7, but this district is wide open. anybody can win on any given night. all teams lost a lot of players with the exception of livingston. lcm returns a lot of offense, vidor returns a lot of defense. that's my opinion.
Who?  LCM looses 90% of it's offense with Gonzo and Sonnier! I think the top three are correct, but Nederland will be #4 in that mix. Not necessarily 4th, but top 4. Ozen has talent, but they always do!!! Vidor is back to being Vidor as is Lumberton (notice how quiet it has been the past few years from up north!  ::) ).  And as I stated before the Bears are loosing it's 1-2 punch! If I had to rank 'em today. 1. Livingston (Can win the district, but will struggle to win in the playoffs due to the system) 2. Central (Mitchell takes the next step) 3. PNG (New signal caller, but great weapons at his disposal and this coming Senior group won a lot coming up through the ranks) 4. Nederland (Young QB got his feet wet last year and they had a lot of Soph's step up last year...Good 2013 class means a year away from a DC) 5. Ozen (Talent alone gets 'em close) 6. LCM (Crouch gets 'em close) 7. Vidor (Mathews gets 'em close...to the bottom) 8. Lumberton (Got some good youth programs, but a few years away) I don't see a standout in this district that will compete for a State Title.
I love your breakdown here.  I need to set with you at a game!  We'll get along fine!  ;D ;D

I think most teams double him and make someone else step up. Just my observation and I think he's been hurt some this season which really hurts the Bears.
Is he back from the shoulder injury?  Good player!!
He's been back, but IMO havn't been productive enough...
 19.
Saturday made it very interestinfor the final three games.  PNG plays on the road for 2 of the games(LCM and Central) and home against Vidor; Vidor plays on the road(Central & PNG) and home against Livingston; Livingston plays on the road(Ozen & Vidor) and home against LCM; LCM has home(PNG & Nederland) road(Livingston).  IMO 4th place is going to have a losing record:  PNG ends up 6-8; Vidor ends up 5-9; Livingston 5-9; LCM 4-10.  The key game to decide if Livingston ties PNG or not is their final game at Vidor.  I just think the road games will be losses for these teams.  Central should win out and finishes 10-4 in 3rd;  Ozen wins at least 2 of 3 and finishes 11-3 in 2nd;  Nederland wins at least 2 of 3 and finishes at least 12-1 for 1st.  Key game Ozen at Nederland.  Nederland clinches at least a tie for first with a win @ Lumberton Tuesday.
This seems completely accurate...
 20.
Who cares what word he used??  ??? It doesn't change what the record book says... 2 "L's"..
Congradulations.  I've already commended Nederland on having a great team and I've stated that if consistant, this team is VERY dangerous.  But now, Nederland is all world and DOMINATED a team.  I guess that's just how some fans react when their program isn't really used to winning a lot.  I understand.  enjoy the wins, Nederland.  Even though you have a few non-knowlegable fans and it makes it hard to deal with, I will root you on for the rest of district and the playoffs...
 21. He's not the only one that stated this.  So I guess we need more than 1 pocket dictionary...
 22. I love the way you use the word 'dominate' in a 10 point win...  ::) ::) Whatever keeps your wagon rolling, I guess...
