[/quote]If you would look a little deeper, there are districts around the area that have started laying teachers off.  Our district have not layed off one teacher and no one have lost a single job yet.  As far as the paycut, our Sup. was on a contract that if he does 'so and so' by 'this day', he was getting a raise. This was something on his contract when he first came to BISD.  No one forsaw the state budget situation comming.  I guess it just really disturbs me that there are so many grown men (an women) that stress themselves out and get all angry about another man's pocket book.  They gripe and gripe and complain all day long.  I always say, let the man do his job.  Looks like he's doing a pretty good job to me.  Not ONE job has been lost yet...

QB's - BISD.  Don't get it twisted, PN-G's Doty and Memorial's Singleton are monsters but Forney may have been the weak link where you have Brook's Reyes, Ozen's Green, and Central's Mitchell who all are great RB's - MC-PAISD...  PN-G's Bertrand and Memorial's Stable of RB's featuring Holmes and co.  'nuff said WR's - Toss up, folks!  You cannot go wrong with BISD's Blackmon and Nelson from Ozen, Ogletree from Central, and Cunnigan, Bengleton, and Malone from WB.  At the same time, Jalali(sp) and Nelson (there is another good reciever in Port Neches, but I can't remember his name.  Memorial  have Wesley who is a 3 year starter and Nederland had Salenga who I believe was also a 3 year starter.  I may have to give the edge to MC/PA here O-Line - PA/MC no doubt.  Both Memorial and PN-G had unstoppable running games and didn't allow a lot of sacks.  Nederland did good out the wildcat. D-Line I will have to go with BISD.  West Brook had an awesome line.  Add in Alfred from Central, and you have some mean charactors up front.  PA only have Sloan who is a beast. Linebackers - BISD.  WB had Collin Garrett.  'nuff said Secondary - MC - PA.  Sorry, MC.  PA is keeping yall above water on this one! FG/kicking - BISD.  Serviando (sp) from Central did a stellar job with extra point attempts, FG's and touchbacks on kickoffs. Coaching - MC/PA.  Sorry, PA, MC is keeping yall afloat on this one. Swagger - BISD.  Even though Last year's Memorial team was full of swagger, they can't hold a candle to BISD's as a whole. Lets review... BISD - 5 MC/PAISD - 5 We have a tie, folks! 

I've thought about it.  I'm finished with this conversation for now.  i find myself having to explain the same thing to people that want to whine about how much someone's check is over and over again.  If you want to get blue in the face over it, then so be it. Personally, I'll let him do him, and I'll do me.

And I wish I could make that much money.... twice what all other people are making in my field of work... but if I did a bad job, like I hear all the time from people in that district... You HEAR things all the time.  I can go to ANY school district and talk to dissapointed employees.  If it makes you feel any better, I hear bad things about ALL districts in this area.  Like I've said before, instead of basing your opinion off of 'what you've heard', why don't you do your research?  Numbers don't lie.

I admit. I don't know a great deal about WO-S football, but if this is the guy that is responsible for the well renouned 'chain gang' defense, then he's my man for the job! EVERYTHING starts with defense!
