3. Looks like the non starters in the game responded with their chance to shine with a big win...
 4. Looks like Ozen is ready to run away with it in the 4th...
 5. Ohh, my bad.  I forgot that this game started @ 2.  I thought it started tonight, so I gave a prediction.  Sorry, guys...  I guess I'll leave this thread for ACTUAL game updates.  ;D ;D
 6. 51-48 Ozen...

Nederlands last shot missed. The put back (that no coach can foresee), gave us the win. Pngs coach got what he was after.....Nederland shooting from a distance with a low percentage shot. He's not even my coach and I think he did right. On to Central.
What is a "Low percentage", 30%?  You're STILL giving yourself only a 35% chance of winning.  I don't like those odds when I know I have 90 seconds left in the game against a better team.
Dang right, the low percentage shot missed, the one that was coached (defense) to force. The high percentage put back (probably 99%) was the one you can never count on happening. You say to force the play. What, force a miss? That happened. Should Nederland score and Png gets the ball back, there are no guarantees that they score. Why can't you see that? Pngs coach should not shoulder any blame for that last shot. The game was lost when Nederland got the momentum to catch up after playing behind the whole game. Should have never come down to that last shot. My last post on this subject.
Somebody should feel bad letting a Football guy shed some EXELLENT basketball knowlege...

 9. I don't think so.  WO-S is legit, but is not on the Tiger's level.  Mustangs will not go down easily though.  I predict 70-54 Tiger win...
 10. And by the way, I deleted it...
 11. Badsanta...  This is getting old.  Knock it off or your out of here.  Nothing being said about sports here.  Chill, dude!
 12. Say good bye to this ridiculous thread...

 16. Nederland is playing better, but I think Central is a lot more better now than they were when district started.  With linup changes and good JV players moving up to Varsity making an impact, there is no doubt that Nederland will have to fight tooth and nail to get this win...
Probably a coin flip, but you never know.  The final game of district is on Feb. 15th, which is a Tuesday and playoffs start that following Fridday.  If each team agrees to play a tie breaker game in between Tuesday and Friday, I assume that it could go down if a neutral site is available...
I hate coin-flips and head-to-head tie-breakers.  I always prefer it be decided on the court/field.  Alot of people say it should be head-to-head but so many variables can effect outcomes(i.e. players out sick; injuries; grades; etc...)  The team you have at playoff time should decide it.
Yes, I know but you may want to think about if the players will be well rested for the first round playoff game that Friday.  You will play your season finaly Tuesday, and I assume you will play your tie breaker either Wed. or Thurs.  Then, you have to backdoor and start your first round playoff game Friday.  Will your boys have the energy come Friday?  I say in this senerio, just flip or go head to head.  Now, if teams had a bye, then that would be another story.  but big schools don't get a bye anymore...

 19. At the same time, Nederland is a 'sleeping giant'.  They still have yet to play a complete game.  If they can play a whole game like they did in that 3rd period of the Ned/Livingston game, it will be tough for my Jags to get the W...
