Why are you even worried about what Ball will do?  Tigers will not face them again.  IMO, I think they will hold their own against the LaMarque's and the Jack Yates'...

Gentlemen, G. Ball WON the game!  I don't care how they did it.  They made plays down the stretch after being down.  They held on at the end.  At the end of the day, they are still undefeated, still # 1 in the state.  Silsbee have 1 more loss for the season, which will not effect them much.  So stop trying to downplay Ball.  Tigers, move  on and get prepared to win your district outright.  Ball was the better team that night...

[/quote]Actually, the beef is a little deeper than that.  Their football team used to play extra dirty when we played them out there...  Their fans used to throw ice and soft drinks on our band and cheer leaders.  We don't like them and they don't like us...  There was even a shooting in the stands before. The football game was played with no fans and no band.  A game at an empty stadium.  We ended up winning... Yes, the Beaumont bowl is not what it used to be at all. I could go all day with this one, but this is the Basketball forum.  Can't hijack the thread too much!  ;D
