1.
Soulja, thanks for the kind words. I have always enjoyed you on this board, you have good insight and have made me laugh more than a couple of times. ;D I want you to know that this Indian was pulling for the Jags with all my heart Friday night and I was sick that it ended for ya'll like it did. PNG and Central have developed quite a rivalry over the past few years, but there has also been a lot of respect developed between the two. I know there were A LOT of Indians pulling for ya'll. Thanks for your support and to all of those in 20-4A that are supporting the Indians!
8) 8) 8) 8)
2.
Kind of neat how there is only one team left in each division. Although Dayton is not east of the Trinity, it is east of Houston. Hopefully all the Region III winners will be east of Houston.
8) 8)
3. :D :D @ your signature in reference to the Pearland game...
4. QB - Miles Taylor (Hardin) and Bruce Reyes (West Brook) RB - LeFredrick Ford  (Kirbyville), Damen Heard (Central), Either one of the Livingston RB's, and Nathan Holmes (Memorial) WR - Zack Sonnier (LC-M) Marquis James (Hardin), K'Sean Wesley (Memorial), Amir Jalali (PN-G), Reggie Bengleton (West Brook), and Mark Roberts (WO-S) K - Servando Vizcaino (Central) and Cole Ogrydziak (Nederland) Defenses - WOS and Central
5. Humble is big and go toe to toe with FW.  Plus, your fast as well.  Great ingredient for success here.
6. They (Houston teams) never respect anything from Beaumont.  When we have a chance to prove them wrong, we lose.  Every time we (Central or West Brook, heck any SETX team) play a Houston team, we should be super pumped to get at them.  Brook got respect last year for taking down these types of teams like NS, Ike, and Hightower.  Still lost to Katy, but well, that's Katy.  But We need to consistantly put together teams that can get them.  The lack of respect have been going on for many years now.  Jags have JUST started getting respect from the Houston area.  FW is still a thorn, but hopefully one day we will get them.  I just hope that we can see the day that we will rise to the challenge to prove those Houston teams wrong.  This Brook team had chances and it's frustrating.  Wasn't about winning.  It's about being competitive and letting them know, we're here to win.  I think this is what 82 meant.
7. On a side not, HUM398.  I know that your guys are battle tested and used to playing those big 5a schools, but don't underestimate FW.  They are as close to a 5a team that you'll face.  They're good.  Very well coached.  Their coach won't go braindead in the middle of a game.  And their players are very fundimentally sound.  They'll run those little gadget plays.  They'll loff you to sleep with stupid plays (and you'll think their stupid) then they'll catch you with your underwear down and hit with the big play.  Or they may short gain you all night with the short pass.  Coaching better have done his homework on this team.
8. I think I'll return the favor for Biaplayer and go check out those Indians...  Minus the PN-G hat...  ;D ;D
9. I was at this game and saw the same things that everyone saw.  This West Brook team had opportunities to make this a game.  Salsbury did a good job.  But from a fan's prospective, I can understand why 82 is kinda ticked at this game.  There were little things that I saw as well as other fans seen.  You have to put these kids in great positions to win these games.  Not taking away anything from the Oilers because they were good.  But even NS fans were saying that Pearland was playing better than they really are.  Brook has just as many good players on the field as Pearland.  It came down to execution.  Pearland did and Brook didn't.  As a whole, I don't know why our Beaumont Teams just don't have that 'all out' mentality to play like there is no tomorrow.  West Brook came out with no sense of urgency in the second half.  There were no blitz called to disrupt this Oiler offense who pretty much went with a very limited playbook.  When West Brook did blitz and attack, they slowed the Oilers down.  I'm probably just as dissapointed as any West Brook fan because There was so much with this team.  After seeing them last year and how well I knew they could play.  But nevertheless, players didn't quit and kept fighting.  And to those seniors 2 of them are very close to me and my family.  It's been a pleasure seeing you under these Friday night lights. Too bad the outcome could have been different.
10. I'm here to eat my crow.  I picked KP to beat Dayton but I should never underestimate this team.  They have risen to the level they need to be in these playoffs and have exeeded expectations after the slow start.  And I hope you guys continue to knock down the competition.  8) 8)
11. You know what?  This Indian Nation have shown sooo much support this last weekend by showing up in mass numbers to root my Jags on.  One of which, became an official Jag fan for a day.  Sat next to me, wore a Central hat (which I've provided...  ;D ;D ) and a Maroon jacket.  I appreciate that.  So It will be so hard for me to root against this team.  My mind is telling me that PN-G will have a war on their hands just like this weekend and will lose.  My heart is telling me that the Indians will gut it out and get the 'W', by any means neccessary.  I don't care how much of a fool others may think I am, I'm rolling with the Indians all the way.  42-36 Indians.
12. EVERYWHERE WE GO!  EVERYWHERE WE GOOOOO!  PEOPLE WANNA KNOOOOOW! PEOPLE WANNA KNOOOOOW! WHOOOOO WE ARRRRRE! WHOOOOO WE ARRRRRE! SOOO WE TELL THEM!  SOOO WE TELL THEM! [move]WEEE ARRRE THE TITAN!  WEEE ARRRE THE TITAN!  THE MIGHTY MIGHTY TITANS! THE MIGHTY MIGHTY TITANS![/move]
13. Port Arthur Memorial have found their long lost 'swag'.  PAM  42-28...
14. Congrads to the Indians.  At this point of the season, It's about winning, by all means.  Even thought you gave up a lot, you still scored enough to win.  Tighten up that defense a little and keep it rolling.  You have the support of this Jaguar!
15.
Nothing makes me feel more confident than having Soulja pick against Friendswood. And, as for you Roxy, you might want to mix in some spelling and grammar with your anger management classes.  And, be careful what you wish four -- all four 24-4A teams are still alive in the playoffs, and your boys are about to get to see the Best of the Best up close and personal.  As far as I can tell you have a lot less going for you than all the rest who came before you predicting wins against the Mighty Mustangs, and left whining and crying.....
Well, thank you!  ;D ;D ;) ;)
16. Humble has a big RB that have some wheels.  Will be tough for FW to stop him once he gets going.  Also, Humble have a good D-Line.  Their strength I their pass defense.  Fast players that will be able to keep up with FW's best player probably without double teaming.  But For humble, you can't  come out flat against a team like this.  If you do, you'll be in trouble.  I don't think they will..  Humble 35-27..
17. I don't know. I was lookng at Mitchell run it in the end zone.  I didn't see the back of the play.  I'm sure it happened on another part of the field.  So that meanss if it happened, it was probably not even necessary for our blocker to even be engaged with a Humble defender at this point...  Not on the backside of the play...
18. The flag on the Jag TD with a minute left was a heartbreaker... To go from TD to 2nd and forever That's an emotional high and los within a matter of seconds... I just knew we were looking at a 28-27 Jag win...
19.

Better team did not win tonight, the better coached team won. Sad for the kids. Mitchell could have had 300 through the air and 100 on the ground had the staff adjusted. Should have had Mitchell rolling out to give him some options. On the defensive side Central should have went to a 4 man front and stuffed the run. Make Humble throw the ball, they were not very good through the air. QB was inacurate and lofted some throws. #33 was all they had. Make the QB throw more and Central picks a few off!!! Can't believe that Humble team beat Willis by 31. Wonder what we will see tomorrow night? Future is bright for Central if Mitchell is utilized correctly. Needs a QB coach and some time working on timing on all the throws. He had WR open deep all night, but waited too long to throw, but he was making the right decisions most of the night which is impressive for a young QB. Good Season Jags. See ya again next year.
The better coached teams, are generally the better teams.   ::) Does it ever dawn on yall at all that maybe WE didn't play up to par? that WE weren't executing?   So extremely one-sided on this board its incredible.  its SETX or nothing.   i try to be as fair and balanced as possible when discussing things, but yall make it hard sometimes.   If we, and could we's don't win games.... We were down 14....Central was in position to kill us.   We fought back, caught a couple breaks....cleaned up our play...and won. (ITS WHAT GOOD TEAMS DO) geez. the worst ones aren't even Central fans.
To be fair anytime any Beaumont team loses its the coaches fault. 2 weeks in a row now, first Nederland now Central.
Dude, what are you talking about?  You should know that Nederland is NOT in Beaumont... Second of all, we were outcoached in the second half... Even the Humble fan stated that.  You just worry about not letting Mongomery ring up a 50 piece today...
20.

This was a good game.  We came out fired up.  14-0 Lead to start.  Then that stupid play on the punt return swung all momentum to Humbl as they scored 24 unanswered points.  That killed us leaving that 7 points on the field.  We couldn't stop that run up the middle and that swing pass killed us...  (sounds familiar?)  We then wen away from what works...  The run up the middle to Heard wasn't working...  They wanted to play cat and mouse with this team.  Newsflash, we're down at this point.  Finally, the OC got his head out his but and found something that works.  The run with the QB.  Humble then drove and our defense held.  Props to the Humble kicker for drilling that FG, even after being brough back on a penalty... We had our chance at the end.  QB broke for a Td run but was brough back for a chop block. That was a tough blow.  Props for the halftime adjustment by Humble on both sides of the ball...  Maybe next year, our coaches will learn to tart putting teams away early and leave no doubt that we're here to win, not play around and play to NOT LOSE...      Nevertheless, geat season to my Jags. Now, go Indians and go Bruins...  BUT, I got a PN-G fathful to wear a Jag hat the entir game..  Props to you!   ;D ;D
Soulja, yall have a great unit.  Lots of athletes on their, and it really made our coaches have to beat yall schematically.    I was impressed with your QB, he is going to be really special.  and number 21? (RB).....Mark it down, is going to be a STUD.
He's a SOPH, along with the QB... Thanks for the nice words... Yall coach told those Humble kids something to get fired up after halftime.  Your fan base was small, but they made some noise over there.  Your team is very athletic and coaches over there make adjutments.  You should do well against Friendswood.  8) 8)
