Are they young, or just playing good teams? Also Ball isnt that Bad, their predicted to make the playoffs in 24-4A this year so congrates on the win. Sometimes all teams need is that 1 win to get things going
Ball won't be anywhere near the playoffs!  You heard it here first.  :o
Why wouldn't they? They started the year off last year getting blown away by Central and turned it around in district and made the playoffs.

I've seen TC, FWood and Ball so far...TC and FWood are light years ahead of Ball. Not to mention Manvel, Lamarque, and even 3-0 Santa Fe. Ball will finish last in that district. They just got the prediction based on a drop from 5A.
It's a Suggs coached team.  I believe Suggs killed PN-G when he coached @ Central.  ::)
 7. It's evident that the Mustangs in red runs faster than those generic ones from Kingwood Hold the press!  Broncos winless? Battle of the ugly green Jerseys.Lions of Livingston undefeated A 'Rey' of light shines over the red sea Gives the Tigers flashburn back down I-10
haha after you explain why Lumberton wont be in..... 1) PN-G needs no explanation, they have played closely, 2 teams better than most in 20-4a...they just have "it" they are the team everyone wants to beat, but few admit it 2) Lumberton can score all night long with the best of em, and defense is bending, but not breaking. Dont have to kill people, a W is a W. Once the injury Bug leaves town and Ltrain is full strength again, will be tough to beat. 3)LCM is scoring at will, D is suspect, but kind of irrelevant against the several inferior opponents in the district this year...(Ozen, Vidor, Central  ;) 4)Livingston or Ned, really dont know about either
LCM will not stop Ozen or Central! This district is wide open for the taking. Both Beaumont schools will be right in the thick of it. The only inferior thing is LCM's defense and Lumberton's their strength of schedule so far.
Hmm, Lumberton's strength of schedule huh. Let's see Jasper, I'll give you that one although historically they are slow out of the gate. Barbers Hill, didn't they spank Nederland last Friday? Oh, and before someone says we played them without some of their starters, that went both ways as we had a couple starters out and lost one during the game as well. Silsbee, picked to make the playoffs in their district, won district champ last year against the team that pounded Nederland the first week. Dude, nobody says that Ozen and Central didn't play two very tough games to start the season with, in fact Ozen is making people notice, but face it, Central got blown out of both of their games and Galveston couldn't hold on to a ball if you super glued it to them. Yeah this district is up for grabs, but it definitely isn't gonna be the same old status quo this year.
Fact of the matter is that Brook and Memorial would have took turn wearing Lumberton out as well.  And Galveston Ball wasn't a bad team.  They are coached by David Suggs, the same coach when at Central  Blew Lumberton out the water.  Ball High fumbled because of pressure and intimidation... But we'll see what happens in this district...  The cream will float to the top...
 9.
Central on a roll, win two in a row!!!! (oh, never mind, they are off this week) ;D
ok, there you go starting!  :D :D
 10.

I predicted in one of my previous comments, that both Ozen and Central would get their first wins this past week. Ozen's passing game will pose a problem for the Jags. If the running game improves, look out it could be an Offensive Explosion. However,Ozen must control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The defense needs to corral Hurd the same way the did K. Duckworth in the Houston Sterling game. Hurd is a legitimate Running Back with great breakaway speed. They must also pressure the young QB # 12 and play tight coverage on # 3 their receiver,he is a threat. He displayed his big play ability by making a great leaping TD catch against Galveston Ball. Sorry Jags,Ozen wins this one ! Final Score Ozen - 42  Central - 21
Wow do we look that bad, Or Ozen Look that Good? I havent seen them play this year yet..
Im not gonna lie...  Their speed on defense and Green along ith their talented receivers scare me... But at the same time we have game breakers Heard on offense and Alfred (Huge game vs Ball Saturday) on defense....
 11.
Soulja Im riding with you on the Jags. They win here and then off to compete with PNG for the district championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8) 8)  Sounds good, but we still have a lot to work on.  We do have the tools.  We will have to play our A game go get a win against Ozen and capitalize on any opportunity to score easy points...
 12. Ozen and Central...Inferior, huh?.. Lol..  They lost to arguably the Best 2 schools in SETX... But let you tell it... ::) ::)
 13.

Does anyone how many yards #15 Heard ran for yesterday? The box score said 154 but I thought it was about 175 to 200. I know he had 4 or 5 runs where he loss yards and those long run.
Not sure, but he'll probably have the football taped to his hands and run a ton of wind sprints after that last let up.  :o  :D
I agree... He did his thing, but geesh!   :)
 14.
1)  PN-G 2)  LC-M 3)  Livingston 4)  Lumberton
explaination?
 15.

Umm..  Our defense caused fumbles... The hard hitting and defense caused fumbles.  You better ask Ball High's QB...
I have no doubt that the defense caused some of their fumbles. At least 3 of them were purely mental error though, of those 2 were bad Center to QB snaps and 1 the QB just flat dropped the ball as he started to raise his arm to pass. On a completely different note early in the game , that Defensive pass interference in the end zone against Ball was bogus, it was really the only bad call I remember, fortunately for them it wasn't a game changer though. Still haven't figured out when the D player went up for the ball with your player behind him how he could cause an interference, but what was showed on TV was a clean play, probably one of Balls' best defensive plays.
Mental error because of the constant onslaught of defensive pressure  and knock downs.  That QB was rattled. The pass interference.  I have not seen it on TV yet,  but there were several passing situations that were questionable.  Like a couple of passes Ball threw to that big reciever where he was clearly pushing off.  One of which was a touchdown catch.  We didn't say nothing about that.  So I really don't understand why Suggs was all heated up over there.  If you ask me, a flag should have been thrown for that.  Throwing a tantrum on the field like that... Who does he think he is?  ;D ;D
 16. I still stand by my original rankings.  and the reason is... PN-G's record is 1-2, but lost very competively.  Losing by 1 point can be placed on poor decision making on the coaches.  (not attacking PN-G, but actually heard this from a PN-G fan) LC-M...  Their offense is definatly head and shoulders above the rest of 20-4a, no doubt, putting up huge numbers, but I have major questions about the defense  Any of the my other 3 projected playoff teams will give these guys fits on the defensive side of the ball... My Jags... I think it is safe to say that Memorial and West Brook are on a totally different level than any of our 20-4a counterparts, so the 1-2 record may be deceptive.  Showing that they could look like a Central team against a projected playoff team (Galveston Ball) coached by David Suggs. Ozen... Very talented squad with nice skilled position players on offense and a fast defense that can run any player from any of the other teams down if they try to run east to west.  Lots of strengths and weakness for each one of these teams.  I'm sure with this bye week, these coaches will fix these weakness and this will be a heck of a rat race for these playoff spots.
 17. Umm..  Our defense caused fumbles... The hard hitting and defense caused fumbles.  You better ask Ball High's QB...
 18.
Im going with ozen by 3 score will be 17-14
It will be a ittle higher  scoring.  27-20 Central...
 19. Central improved greatly from week 1 to Week 2.  This game will be if Ozen can stop our running game vs. If we can stop their passing game... Also, how much each team improves from the Bye week.  This one is hard to tell, honestly... I have to go with the homer pick.. Central by 7...  But trust me, this could go either way...  BTW, who is the home team?
