Soulja Im riding with you on the Jags. They win here and then off to compete with PNG for the district championship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8) 8) Sounds good, but we still have a lot to work on. We do have the tools. We will have to play our A game go get a win against Ozen and capitalize on any opportunity to score easy points... -

The box score said 154 but I thought it was about 175 to 200. I know he had 4 or 5 runs where he loss yards and those long run.
Not sure, but he'll probably have the football taped to his hands and run a ton of wind sprints after that last let up. :o :D
I agree... He did his thing, but geesh! :)

The hard hitting and defense caused fumbles. You better ask Ball High's QB...
I have no doubt that the defense caused some of their fumbles. At least 3 of them were purely mental error though, of those 2 were bad Center to QB snaps and 1 the QB just flat dropped the ball as he started to raise his arm to pass. On a completely different note early in the game , that Defensive pass interference in the end zone against Ball was bogus, it was really the only bad call I remember, fortunately for them it wasn't a game changer though. Still haven't figured out when the D player went up for the ball with your player behind him how he could cause an interference, but what was showed on TV was a clean play, probably one of Balls' best defensive plays.
Mental error because of the constant onslaught of defensive pressure and knock downs. That QB was rattled. The pass interference. I have not seen it on TV yet, but there were several passing situations that were questionable. Like a couple of passes Ball threw to that big reciever where he was clearly pushing off. One of which was a touchdown catch. We didn't say nothing about that. So I really don't understand why Suggs was all heated up over there. If you ask me, a flag should have been thrown for that. Throwing a tantrum on the field like that... Who does he think he is? ;D ;D -

I still stand by my original rankings. and the reason is... PN-G's record is 1-2, but lost very competively. Losing by 1 point can be placed on poor decision making on the coaches. (not attacking PN-G, but actually heard this from a PN-G fan) LC-M... Their offense is definatly head and shoulders above the rest of 20-4a, no doubt, putting up huge numbers, but I have major questions about the defense Any of the my other 3 projected playoff teams will give these guys fits on the defensive side of the ball... My Jags... I think it is safe to say that Memorial and West Brook are on a totally different level than any of our 20-4a counterparts, so the 1-2 record may be deceptive. Showing that they could look like a Central team against a projected playoff team (Galveston Ball) coached by David Suggs. Ozen... Very talented squad with nice skilled position players on offense and a fast defense that can run any player from any of the other teams down if they try to run east to west. Lots of strengths and weakness for each one of these teams. I'm sure with this bye week, these coaches will fix these weakness and this will be a heck of a rat race for these playoff spots. -

Central vs. Ozen Predictions?

Central improved greatly from week 1 to Week 2. This game will be if Ozen can stop our running game vs. If we can stop their passing game... Also, how much each team improves from the Bye week. This one is hard to tell, honestly... I have to go with the homer pick.. Central by 7... But trust me, this could go either way... BTW, who is the home team? -
I agree with Soulja, Took our Offense some time, but thankfuly Defense Came to play today, and actualy looked more like a unit then Individuals..Made some adjustments and shut Ball out in the 2nd half for the 2nd straight year..Then finaly Our offense got it going,, I was really pleased with how we played. They actualy looked like the Jags im use to seeing. Now Hopefully this carries over into District. We still have some ways to go ,but Im proud how we looked today..All we can do is get better, Defense did very good though, Thats how a Central Defense is post to look.. We hit em hard and they laid the ball on the ground. We didnt let em get to the outside, and everone was talking and looked to be on the same page for the most part..They also stepped up to the plate when Offense made it seem like it would be another long game on that 1st Ball Drive...We can only get better, cant wait for District
Vast improvements from our players for loking like a unit and for our coaching staff Making many key adjustments on defense and offense... 8) 8)

We went to the I formation most of the night and ran the ball good. We blocked average. Heard had a huge game... (see what happens when you at least put a body on somebody blocking?) The Young QB looked better and made better decisions with the ball. A few overthrown passes and throws into coverage, but I have high hopes on the kid. I think she should start throwing the ball out of bounds if he don't have a receiver and he is flushed out the pocket. And when the Young gun do hit you in the numbers, receivers, please catch the pass! We have greatly improvedon offense, which is good, just in the nick of time... Before district. Offense tonight gets a B-. BTW, Heard will be running laps till he pukes with that fumble on that long run... Unexcusable, young man. But you still did your thing! 8) 8) Defense is where we really looked good tonight... We tackled better. There were some hard hits. Ball's QB will remember this night for Years to come! ;D ;D Great adjustment on Defense when #5 from ball kept catching passes over the top because of his height. We put a taller kid over there and that long pass was shut down. With the exception of a few big runs, we really kept everything in front of us. Defense tonight gets an A-. Special teams was excellent! Our place kicker sailed several kicks in the back of the end zone. On special teams coverage, we tackled better than in previous weeks. Special team gets an A.. We still have a long way to go if we want to call ourselves a playoff team. I think we'll get there. I'm sso glad to see improvement and against a Suggs coached team. Keep improving, Jags...
she should start throwing where soulja? :D
He!!! This darn Posting from the Celly... Lol
I was on Sterling's side... Siting with a Brook and Ozen fan... -
I attended this game. Ozen could have Blown this one open and ran up the score... Sterling had no answer for Ozen's pasing attack. Green is smart with the football and was throwing pinpoint passes on the run... If he can only stay in the pocket and look at all his receivers... Ozen's running game will need work. Many times, the RB's bounce to the outside and end up going backwards trying to get around defenders and lose yards... On defense, Ozen needs work in the middle. Sterling Moved the ball running right in the middle but Sterling went away from that and tried to run to the outside.. Not a good idea... Ozen's defense was too fast and always caught a sterling player when we went east to west. Keys for Ozen.. Stay with what works.. The passing game is nice.. Stay with it! Overall, Good game for Ozen... Good confidence boost. Ozen will be a playoff team this year.

But hey you never know, looks like the Rangers are going to make the playoffs..... ;)
Yeah like Lumberton has been world beaters? If my memory holds correct didnt the Panthers beat your beloved Raiders last year? ;D
:o
Yeah they did, we had a serious case of the dropsies :'(, BUT, I stand by my original statement, Ozen always has talent but they generally fall apart. Maybe this will be their year this year instead of Central. ;)
Typical Lumberton. Start of Hot then fizzle out in district... :o :o

'Jaguar' is on on cruise control as they throw 'Balls' into the stands... 'Alice' in wonderland? No, They will think they are in No man's land after Memorial gets a hold of them! Faint Train horn heard in distance. No, it was a mean tiger roar After Tonight's big win, West Brook FINALLY gets an article on front page of the Suprise. People of PN-G and Nederland outraged. After losing 21-0 at the half, Faircloth puts the 'Indian Spirit' in at RB. Indians score 42 unanswered points. K-Ville Player Ford quoted saying 'there is no sunken treasure here tonight'.
