1. If Reyes's is back, 35-17 Brook.
 2. Alright, Bye week is over.  Lets come out and see if we have a new little wrinkle added to get this thing (district run) started right.  IMO, we need to find a way to get to Green early and often to kill their momentem...
 3.

Well, as promised, I will continue posting for our BRUINS.  We wanted to show you our stuff tonight , an at times we did.  The problem I am trying to deal with is that you guys had no problem showing us your stuff.  You definietly have a great team and program.  I always accept defeat for the teams I support in this fashion---- I wish you guys the best of luck and am aware that each week somebody out there is gunning for you guys. Your success will ease that agony of defeat for us.  As far as looking at you guys across the field-----dang your loud in other peoples house. ;D Till we meet again and then the smack is back--- PS-- by any chance did you guys take some of our footballs home with you?  We seemed to have misplaced some  :P
WeedBegone: I just want to say that we played well tonight. I have alot of respect for WB for playing a team like Katy. We are not going to put anyone down here. Everyone played hard tonight. As for WB you guys are going to be alright. Katy had a couple of games in the past years were we got beat by a little Woodlands team.  I know WB will bounce back from this. In fact this will make you stronger and I feel sorry for the team WB plays next. I know nobody has said it but I would have liked to see what it might have been if the starting QB wouldn't of got hurt. I hope your QB is ok and you get him back for the next games. We also had like three players that got hurt. Hopefully all the players recover from their injuries and no one was seriously hurt. I have no doubt WB will win their district and be in the playoffs again. Good luck the rest of the sesaon WB. Much respect to you guys from this sincere Katy fan.
You get karma for that... Great post.
 4. I agree, BigD.  They are only playing and winning against whoever they put on the schedule.  So far, when they are served a plate every week, they eat up the competition and leave no crumbs.. ;D ;D  Good Win, Titans.  Boy, yall almost made me sing 'Titans' song again!  :D :D
 5. Memorial scores points early and often.  42-14...
 6. West Book's game plan was to stop the big Katy RB, which they did a good job on.  I do admit, but the safety comming up, they did allow that playaction pass (the play they ran like 7 or 8 times) to the tight end and one to the top reciever burn them.  Adjustments should have been made.  Blitz down the middle.  Katy's QB had all day long to step up in the pocket and make the RIGHT decision.  Now, make no mistake, Katy did cause Reyes into turnovers (the intercepiton in Katy territory and the fumble in West Brook territory). So that proves that Katy's game plan was working.  They play disciplined football, but I did see some things that Brook could have done better.  And stupid penalties on drives and 3 and outs are not one of them.   BTW, I love Katy's offense.  I formation, counters, Lead run plays, sweep pitches, and playaction passes.  THAT'S my kind of offense.  Non of that spread crap.  That's just my 2 cents...   ;) ;)
 7. I don't know where to stot much I can really say.  Other posters have touched on some great points...Katy thrived on Brook turnoversand made their living in Brook territory for must of the first half. Didn't help any when Reyes went out... Little Stump was thrown in the fire.Remember, folk, he's a Backup QB.  Brook's defense did well to say that they were backed on their side of the field. They did good in slowing Katy's big RB.  Katy did what they did well. Capitalizing on Turnovers which is what good teams do. On Offense, Katy kept it vanella by running at you and playaction passes.  Hats off to Katy. Brook will be fine...  When Reyes comes back, they will be ready to do their thing in district.  Just a word of advise...  Use that running game more..  It's there all night...
 8. I won't be there in 'blue' but I will be there in whatever the support these Bruins!

Are they young, or just playing good teams? Also Ball isnt that Bad, their predicted to make the playoffs in 24-4A this year so congrates on the win. Sometimes all teams need is that 1 win to get things going
Ball won't be anywhere near the playoffs!  You heard it here first.  :o
Why wouldn't they? They started the year off last year getting blown away by Central and turned it around in district and made the playoffs.

I've seen TC, FWood and Ball so far...TC and FWood are light years ahead of Ball. Not to mention Manvel, Lamarque, and even 3-0 Santa Fe. Ball will finish last in that district. They just got the prediction based on a drop from 5A.
It's a Suggs coached team.  I believe Suggs killed PN-G when he coached @ Central.  ::)
 21. It's evident that the Mustangs in red runs faster than those generic ones from Kingwood Hold the press!  Broncos winless? Battle of the ugly green Jerseys.Lions of Livingston undefeated A 'Rey' of light shines over the red sea Gives the Tigers flashburn back down I-10
haha after you explain why Lumberton wont be in..... 1) PN-G needs no explanation, they have played closely, 2 teams better than most in 20-4a...they just have "it" they are the team everyone wants to beat, but few admit it 2) Lumberton can score all night long with the best of em, and defense is bending, but not breaking. Dont have to kill people, a W is a W. Once the injury Bug leaves town and Ltrain is full strength again, will be tough to beat. 3)LCM is scoring at will, D is suspect, but kind of irrelevant against the several inferior opponents in the district this year...(Ozen, Vidor, Central  ;) 4)Livingston or Ned, really dont know about either
LCM will not stop Ozen or Central! This district is wide open for the taking. Both Beaumont schools will be right in the thick of it. The only inferior thing is LCM's defense and Lumberton's their strength of schedule so far.
Hmm, Lumberton's strength of schedule huh. Let's see Jasper, I'll give you that one although historically they are slow out of the gate. Barbers Hill, didn't they spank Nederland last Friday? Oh, and before someone says we played them without some of their starters, that went both ways as we had a couple starters out and lost one during the game as well. Silsbee, picked to make the playoffs in their district, won district champ last year against the team that pounded Nederland the first week. Dude, nobody says that Ozen and Central didn't play two very tough games to start the season with, in fact Ozen is making people notice, but face it, Central got blown out of both of their games and Galveston couldn't hold on to a ball if you super glued it to them. Yeah this district is up for grabs, but it definitely isn't gonna be the same old status quo this year.
Fact of the matter is that Brook and Memorial would have took turn wearing Lumberton out as well.  And Galveston Ball wasn't a bad team.  They are coached by David Suggs, the same coach when at Central  Blew Lumberton out the water.  Ball High fumbled because of pressure and intimidation... But we'll see what happens in this district...  The cream will float to the top...
 23.
Central on a roll, win two in a row!!!! (oh, never mind, they are off this week) ;D
ok, there you go starting!  :D :D
 24.

I predicted in one of my previous comments, that both Ozen and Central would get their first wins this past week. Ozen's passing game will pose a problem for the Jags. If the running game improves, look out it could be an Offensive Explosion. However,Ozen must control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. The defense needs to corral Hurd the same way the did K. Duckworth in the Houston Sterling game. Hurd is a legitimate Running Back with great breakaway speed. They must also pressure the young QB # 12 and play tight coverage on # 3 their receiver,he is a threat. He displayed his big play ability by making a great leaping TD catch against Galveston Ball. Sorry Jags,Ozen wins this one ! Final Score Ozen - 42  Central - 21
Wow do we look that bad, Or Ozen Look that Good? I havent seen them play this year yet..
Im not gonna lie...  Their speed on defense and Green along ith their talented receivers scare me... But at the same time we have game breakers Heard on offense and Alfred (Huge game vs Ball Saturday) on defense....
