They lost a 3 year starter guard (best defender) Cam Dill, a guard with good dribble (another 3 year starter) Gayla Joseph, another guard with good dribbles and a decent shooter (2 year starter) Taylynn Cooper and another solid senior bench player ( I forgot her name). on this team, the corp grout is back, but the players that we replaced the above players with are ether extremely young or lack experience. There’s like 3 freshmen on the team. 1 starts and the other 2 gets significant minutes. Also, we lost the assistant coach from last year. He is what made everything go.

That seems to have been the norm all year. That one player is a baller, no doubt, but you’re right. There’s not much other help besides our post player.

I will say this. When your 3 pt shots aren’t falling, then you need to take it to the cup. And with the big size advantage we had, we should have been doing that and going to the post from initial tip-off. Those guys hung around and made this a game until the 3rd period. We can’t have that. We have ti put these teams away early. I can imagine how this will turn out if we play like this at their house.

Facts!

Yes. The Newton kid with the white headband got to the cup whenever he wanted. And I have no idea why We stopped running the offense through Yates and why we couldn’t get out throes best player going. Nonetheless, good tournament showing without ‘Da Truth’ on the floor. Great exposure for our other kids. Not back to the ol rat race (district play).
