1. I saw it today, Scooter.  It's aight, I guess...   ;D ;D I like that red end zone with the black letters...
2. There was an impressive 60+ yard run.  Handoff to the left side.  The kid reversed the field and had one man to beat from the Indians and got past him for the TD.  I think Memorial's strength may be the passing game, IMO...
3. Good practice, Bruins.  Heard from 2 sources that yall looked good.    One source told me that yall will have no problem moving the ball this year, but the defense will need work, especially the secondary.
4. Jags scrimmaged @ 9am...  (that's if you were not being sarcastic) ;D
5.
Some of you are [s]stu[/s] mistaking when you assume that just because kville was 2a and now 3a that the kids can't play.  Ford would start for any team in the golden triangle.  Daingerfield (2A) would beat almost every team in our area. stop ,what's the word--dissin, the small schools.  imo - EVERY 3A SCHOOL, and would make the playoffs in the 4A district!!!
:o :o :D :D
6. I made it to this scrimmage with like 5 minutes left in the second quarter...  Memorial's defense did set the tone.  What I saw, Memorial moved the ball at will.  Long plays and everything.  PN-G's run game didn't look that impressive, but when they threw long, there was success.  BTW, Memorials field turf looked clean!  PN-G better find a way to move the ball on the ground before district starts.  And Memorial's secondary may be a little suspect.  I have no complaints about their hard hitting run D.   Yes, PN-G's secondary was playing off of the Memorial recievers, may have been worried about being beat deep.
7. Good deal.  Wish I had a rundown to know who looked good.
8. It's  Just a practice, guys!  :D :D
9. They're in Houston supposedly in a 3 way scrimmage.

14. It's that time again!  Again, the rules are you put what YOU think the local newspapers will say about your team the day after.  Also, you can put what you think will be said about any other team.  This should be fun, like it is every year.
15. Ok...  You lead me to this...  Saturday headlines time...  lol
16. That means cool.  I also look forward to the challenge!

21. I've said it before, that I didn't agree with the name of the stadium.  Would have rathered BISD Stadium.  Durley or Zaharius are already names of stadiums... Willie Ray Smith or Spindletop would have been ok.  But it is what it is.  The stadium is here, so lets go win some ball games...
