1. Went to every Central game as a high school kid. Then started consistently going to all games from 2002- now.  In that spand, I may have missed like 4 games.  (those games were in the 2004 and 2007 team, which they sucked.  1-9 and 4-6 records respectively.  Those years were hard  to stomach)

The fact is, scrimmages come in many colors. I have been to some that were nothing more than co-practice sessions and I have been to others that were as close to a real game as you can get (full contact/rotation/special teams, etc.). I didn't see any this year so I can't say yeah or nay on the results. Just glad to see football is back!
Lufkin and WB will be like a game...refs, clock, score, no coaches on the field during game, play clock, links, BBQ sandwiches, you name it....come out and see this practice, Saturday 3 pm Durley Stadium.
I will be on the sidelines for this one. SgtRey, bring me a chipped beef sandwich please. (btw, no team will win or lose this one either) ;D
Actually I may do Fajitas...there sooo good, it will make you want to SLAP UR MOMMA!!! but Soulja will do.
:D :D :D

You could take the 22 fastest players to ever play at Friendswood in their entire history and you might be able to compare to what WOS has every single year.
Kinda like that Beaumont Central speed? We know how that worked out. You wanna talk speed son, go watch Angleton - they make yall look very very average.
Go ahead and keep tooting your horn over a win last year.  3rd time  is a charm.  Remember that!
Right! But what a whooping it was, 40-10 at half. Looking forward to meeting again! Saturday, November 28, 2009                 Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Final Friendswood 14 23 7 0 44 Beaumont Central
Wow!  Be beating  a good team like Central like that, that state championship trophy was sweet!  Ohh wait... Yall didn't win state... Oh waite...  Yall didn't make it to state... Ok..

Hey! They were supposed to!  If they lose, you start talking about a huge upset going which provides that much extra of a confidence boost for the Mustangs along the Sabine.
All so very true, Grad. But I bet there will still be one or two WOS fans(you know who they are) that will come up with some excuses if WOS loses this game. ;)
:D :D :D :D
not sure why ur laughing...u do the same for Central... :D :D :D
Have you had a chance to read my signature?  :D :D
 6. That's right, Heard.  You tell them you want Friendswood again.  The boys have not forgot.  Kids on a mission.
 7.
My Beaumont Bulls 9 yr olds do the same thing.... you guys are almost there!!  lol  :D :D  !!!  JK..
lol...  Hater!  :D :D...  Jr. May be running for his life again  this year!!  Them beasts coming with their ears pinned back!
 8. Just saw it.  That's what I'm talking about.  It all starts in the trenches!
 9. Will watch the video once I get to my PC...
 10.
There is a big "opening gala" planned for August 26th.  Hopefully after that the "butching" about the name will stop and the playing will begin.
For real, Right? I had to give you a few applause points for that! 8)

 12.
The only numbers that matter are the ones on the scoreboard. I dont care if Ozen is 4A because we would win their district anyway. They will regret scrimmaging the Catz . :-*
No scores in scrimmages, Sunshine. And if the scoreboard is running, it don't matter...  Nothing will be kept in the recordbook..
 13.
*( If K-Ville was in this district) 1. K-Ville 2. Central 3. Nederland 4. Ozen
You know, I think you have something there, Laddie!... ::) ::)
 14. A scrimmage is nothing more than a regular practice vs a different team than your own.  Both teams will benefit.  It's all about getting better.  You see, not much you can do can get you ready for a realy good State Ranked Bruin team...
 15. The week before the season kicks off will begin.  For you new posters, we post things that you feel the newspapers will read the day after the game that your team plays. I will make a thread at the beginning of that week.  Hope you guys have fun!
 16. You must be talking about Babe Zaharius stadium as it is 'off of I-10'.  Yes, it compares nicely to Tiger Stadium.  8)
You making any Central games this year, man?
I'll be @Central/WB the following week.  Probably between Central, Ozen, and PAM, I'll probably get in 3 games each before the playoffs..... I will miss the weekend of 10/8.  Jumping the broom for the 3rd time....
Alright...I'll see ya there.  Ohh, and congrads!
 18.
Little Elm, Aledo, Woodforest The Woodlands, Berry Center I think the Dallas Metroplex has the nicest stadiums and Allen is going to blow stadiums out of the water and they do have the money.  Also, Leander ISD in the Austin area have nice stadiums. Beaumont will have the nicest stadium in this area unless you factor in everything, then I don't know who. PNG IMO has the best crowd enviroment, but with a back drop of plants, and lack of parking makes it a little less. Silsbee, very nice stadium, but small.  Beaumont nice stadium, but the stands may be uneven because of the soil, I-10 traffic all game long, and the stands won't be filled unless PNG, or Nederland play there. Heck I don't know you make the call.
The Beaumont bowl games packs the stadium.  Don't know where you get your information from expecially knowing that you grew up here in Beaumont.  And there will be no uneven stands or what not.  Butch Stadium will be the Jewel of SETX.  I like PN-G's stadium, but parking on the side of the road can be a pain.  Silsbee Stadium is a very good 3a stadium.
You might wanna head to P.A. to see the Titans light up the scoreboard against Soulja's jags. :o ;D 8)
You really gonna make yourself believe that, huh?  :D :D
 21. So, will you be on here as well, BD?
 22. Port Arthur, Tx Central vs. Memorial Aug. 27th, 2010 45 yard line!
 23. Really uncalled for, TheRanch.  If you post, please contrubute SOMETHING  to the topic of the thread.  Thanks...
