1. Lawd, let the fall hurry up and get here... ::)
 2. Yea, I almost forgot.  He carried like 5 pirates in the end zone with him. ;D ;D Wasn't that the 'phantom scoreboard' night?  ;D ;D
 3.
2009 PN-G vs. Central (25-22 PN-G, 2 OT) 2009 PN-G vs. Texas City (22-16 PN-G, OT) 2009 PN-G vs. Barbers Hill I (21-20 PN-G) 2008 PN-G vs. Crosby (28-27 PN-G)
Much to our displeasure.  ;D ;D
 4.
Well I have 3.. The 2003 Team that Came back to beat Pflgrville Connally in the 2nd round.. The 2008 Team that came back in the last Min to Beat Angelton in the 3rd round.. And last Year. The 2009 Team that came back from two Scores in the last 2min to beat Huntsville
I couldn't dissagree here.  All three of these games almost gave me heart problems.  Especially that 2003 team.  We didn't throw a pass the whole game.  Just so happen that the last 3 plays were pass plays that covered over 80 yards within the last minute.  The 2009 team that beat Huntsville was so exciting, it had me jumping around with our players.  They didn't know how to quit that game!
 5.
I would Say, The Friendswood-Central Game from 08.. I really think that was our year, and If we get past them IMO we had a good shot at LT.. or The Bay City-Central game in 03. One of our better Teams to come through Central,.Let that Game Slip through Our fingers To the State Runner up Bay City..
I agree!  I do have to give credit to the Bay City defense.  They didnt' let us do much of anything.  Allow me to add the 2005 game vs WB.  Started the game off 14-0 and ended up losing 14-17...
 6. :o :o :D :D
What you really missed while away: 1. WOS dropped the Mustang as the mascot and are now the WOS Coops' 2. Newton's Barbay deceides he better stop bringing the past records book to the Kirbyville game and come up with a actual game plan. 3. Barbers Hill realizes that they are not welcome in the Houston area and cant beat anyone from the Golden Triangle area so they blame their coaches. 4. WOS cheerleaders photo shoot causes cell phone contraversy that is heard all the way to Oklahoma so Volleyball team steps up and replaces cheerleaders. 5. Famous porn film is renamed "Debbie does [s]Dallas [/s] Ozen". 6. Pirates pet "POLLY" apprently had something to do with game being cancelled because Crosby said something about too many "crackers". 7. PNG proves two things the past few years: (1) they still have more money than anyone and (2) GOOD coaches do make a difference. 8. Who are the Astros?
7. Grad, get 'em!!!  ;D ;D

Getting back on the ferry headed for washington state. Be back on Friday.
The Attorney General and The Child Support division is waiting.  Welcome home!   ;D ;D What you missed while away: 1. After winning state in the 80's, WOS has finally realized they won't win state again 2. Kirbyville is kicking Jasper and WOS tail after being the step-child for so many years 3. WOS named their stadium after a Barbers Hill alumn 4. BMT Centra passed enough players to field a team for a full season (few cheerleader banged-up in the process) 5. BMT (school not named) coaches hosted a porn video viewing. 6. Vidor ran all over South East Texas. 7. Lumberton had a decent team, once. 8. Dayton swept 20-4A, even after players steal school laptops 9. Hardin gets turff before BH 10. Astros REALLY suck!
Welcome home, scooter!  But unfortunately, bh89-2 didn't quite get to all of the news: 1.  Despite the loud complaints about his coaching ability, Barbers Hill's long time coach lead the Eagles to the 4A playoffs 2.  Despite the fact that the long time coach Barbers Hill coach lead the Eagles to the playoffs, they still complained in Barbers Hill 3.  After the years of complaints, the long time Barbers Hill coach decided that he would rather coach a team that went 0-10 last year than coach again in Barbers Hill 4.  Barbers Hill protested to the UIL about Kirbyville moving up to 3A, because in the event that BH moves down to 3A, they know they can't beat Kirbyville 5.  Barbers Hill did hire a coach and athletic director who has won state championships 6.  Barbers Hill promptly began complaining that this new coach was running off long time coaches in other sports 7.  Dave Rogers, formerly of the PA News, and currently with the Baytown Sun, is either Jesus or Satan, depending on who you ask 8.  Crosby looked at the wrong calender, thought it was the 70's and overrulled their coach on playing a certain team in Orange County 9.  Port Arthur Memorial got turf before Nederland 10.  The Astros REALLY, REALLY suck!!!
8. I have to admit...  You brougt tears to my eyes with this post from laughter... :D :D :D

Getting back on the ferry headed for washington state. Don't give away our "secret weapon" man! LOL! ;D I guess Helen Keller was sitting in at the controls that night.
:D :D
 12. This may turn messy...
 13.
you forgot to add "too legit to quit" as a choice on the poll.
:o :o :D :D
 14. Yea, True!  That and including the 'phantom scoreboard' incident in 2006!  (sorry man!  I couldn't hold that one back!  Lol)
 15. We're content with just a little recognition this time.  It's better than none, which we are used to.
 16. Ready for some real football.  Forget what Dave Campbell (Although his material did make me somewhat in a good mood) and Rivals.com say about predictions and projections and stuff.  Let our boys line and put these pencil pushers into hibernation!  ;D ;D ;D ;D
 17. Your right...  But I can always counteract that by watching either the either the 2009 or 2008 Nederland Central game... 8) 8)
 18. I tried to watch the PN-G Central game and ran int the same problem like 3 weeks ago... Wonder what the  deal is?

as far as me ranking them second to last, its not that i dont think they are talented, but ive been hearing they are going to have some problems in the trenches.. and folks, whether we want to admit it or not, the trenches are where games are won.. you can have the most talented backs or receivers, but if they cant open up holes or protect the QB, you are looking at big problems..
Oh, and about the problems in the trenches, LCM returns 2 of the 5 starters.  Ask Central-just because we are losing 3 out of 5 doesn't mean that the o-line won't be better this year than last year.  Last year's o-line was certainly better than 2008's o-line, and only returned 1 starter.  And don't forget, Coach Crouch was an all-american offensive lineman at ULL (I believe it was ULL).  I'm sure the o-line was a focal point in this year's preperation.  And rumor has it that Cameron Allen, who I believed started at some point for WO-S last year, will be transferring
I never said that...
 20. 1. Nederland 2. Central 3. Ozen 4. LC-M
 21. Sorry bout that...  Not over Bellow, but the other Kid.  Smith...

Well, it's not about 'the love' for Nederland Football, but rather how I'll think it'll pan out.  I am aware of your injury situation last year.  But I think that was a blessing for you guys.  I think the kid that ended up playing close to the end of the season should have been starting the whole season.   But then again, that's my opinion.  With that being said, you barely made the playoffs.  It will be a tossup between Ozen and you guys for 4th... Heard who averaged 9.5 yards per carry last year.  Not to mention we will have a good defense as usual.) 2.  Port Neches Groves (They are the champs with a great system in place will come down to the last game of the season) 3. Little Cypress - Mariceville ( Gonzalez is back and another year under Coach Crouch's system.  Also, the hotshot all district reciever comes back) 4. Beaumont Ozen ( Been hearing rumblings in the street that Ozen will do their thing this year) 5. Nederland ( May do better if they can get their QB situation under control) 6.
