1. A flat tire slowed me down.  Made it here for 7.  This is a no go.  They stopped letting people in...  Well, 'they' are letting some of their 'friends' in.  I think BISD dropped the ball on this one...
 2. I almost forgot about 'Sticks' Harris and Ken Lockett from Silsbee.  Probably honorable mention...
 3.
No more bias than anyone else shows towards their school!!!!!!! ;) ;)
Don't get it twisted,  Ozen is NOT my school, but as you see, I have a lot of Ozen players listed and very little Central players.  So technically, I'm not biased.  Hey, I did put your guy on the starting linup!  lol
 4. I  havn't heard anything, but Seems like Ozen is pretty good.  They are tied for first in the district....  For now...  ;)
 5. I'm sorry.  i'm guilty of showing bias toward big school.  I have not seen enough of the small schools.  Benard have never came to mind because I don't believe I have seen this young man plan.  When I think of H-J, I just think of Donahoe.
 6.
Soulja, if I didn't know any better, I would think you were a Ozen Panther homer with all those Ozen players on your team. Over half of them are from Pear Orchard. ;) ;D It also shows how much 20-4A bias you have. ;) ;D
Come on, man!  Cut me some slack!  ;D  But you cannot deny that those Ozen players were pretty good.  I'm no Ozen fan.  Matter of face, I hate them!  lol  But you have to give props where props are due.  Also, it don't help that I see most of the teams that play my Jags..  Unless I see them in a tourney that My Jags are playing in...
 7.
good team soulja but i really think kethian hancock should be at PG
Who would you replace or put him ahead of on this list?
Benard is good, no doubt.  But he is not a better shooter than Brown or franks.  Coffey was not a shooter, but the kid was a scorer scoring 25 points per game.  Thomas just flat out got the job done.
 9.
Throw in the Durios (sp) from PNG a few years back. He could play.
Yes, he was good.  His name was Durio.  Forgot his first name.  Think Kelvin...  He Singlehandedly torched Central for the big upset at PN-G's gym that year.

 12.
Have the line stacked..Then run outside.. If the line is stacked everone will come in including the Corners..Then jst put your fastest player in at RB and do a toss to the ouside (Wide side of the field)
Too risky for me.  You have a bigger chance to lose yards this way.  What if that corner comes on a blitz and is keying on that RB?  You got right up the middle, you have your big nastys vs their big nastys.  You get a push, you will get that 1 yard without having to lose any yards.
 13. it will probably be the regular times for a district battle.  Game will start at 7:30.  I've been going to these matchups for years, so it's best to make it there for like 6:15 - 6:30ish.  Central's gym do not have as much room as Ozen's gym.
 14. The only senior that I know of is Chris Baloney, wich is a starter.  If I'm not mistaken, the rest of the Jags are underclassmen...
 15. So what happened?  Was Marion that good?  I know when Central used to play them, they had a team full of monsters.  Had a team with a 6'7" guy that was a high flyer than could shoot the lights out and another big man than could grab the top of the backboard.  I don't know any of their name though.
 16.
The blowout factor was the main reason....Central losing at home to LC-M then whipping Nederland on the road....Gotta love 20-4A!!!!
Gotcha, Coop.  Thanks, AAW!
I think it was a shock that the won by nearly 20 points, not that they won.
Shouldn't be.  Coaching change.  New attitude and scheme.  Different results.
Rey is a basketball guy.  I'm sure that if he knew about this, he would show up.

 22.
Central dominated the Dogs in this game, though Nederland did show a spark in the 3rd quarter, but it wasn't near enough to get anything rolling. Central had great defense against Nederlands weak guard play. There was even the worst clear call at the end of the 3rd (maybe, I forgot which quarter) in which Nederland was given 2 points literally a second or two after the buzzer went off. I don't see Central losing another game in district play this season. As for the Dogs, they have a lot to work on, especially breaking a press and playing against pressure defense around the arc.
Really good assessment.  I will add that Central closed out really well when it seems Nederland had open shots.  Central's Bigs played really well against Forney in the middle, even though they were outsized and out strenghth  (is that even a word?).  That last second shot at the end of three killed me!  It was clearly after the buzzer.    I think that we need more work on spreading the ball like we did in the fourth quarter.  Know who needs to have the ball.  No. 10, No. 5, and Kris should be the only guards allowed to handle the ball when you are spreading the floor.  Heard is fast and made some really good plays and played good defense, but he do not need to be on the floor when we are doing this.  Other than that, we played a great game.  I look forward to us improving a lot if we are still on the quest to win district.  We still have Ozen to deal with.  Also the unknown, Livingston, who we have yet to beat since they have been in our district.
