The first time LC-M beat us, it wasn't the bigs that killed us.  It was LC-M's guards that were there when we turned the ball over to get easy layups in key parts of the game.  Also, they have a little back screen play they run to perfection that ends up with a flip up 10 footer off the glass...  I don't know that Bear player's name...

Tipoffs for District games are at 7:30...

Gonna be tough playing in the Bear Cave, but we have to get these wins piled up!

Well, the 'Phantom Scoreboard' fiasco in 2006...  ;D ;D ...  Other than that, no problems in Vidor...

I can honestly say that Central playing in Vidor now 4 years since comming in this district have never been a problem.  People are nice there.  But they are pationate about their football, as any fan is supposed to.

Yall tripping. This was a great individual performance by a player that we all know was capable of doing this, but it was against Nederland.  Don't get me wrong, Nederland is good, but they are no Yates.  Ozen will need another performance like this to even stay within 10 points of Yates.  The question, is do Ozen have another game breaker like Franks?  I don't think so.  Yates team are full of players like that from top to bottom. Am I hating on Ozen, Heck no, as I pull for Central first, Beamont teams second, and area teams third.  But let's be real...

Franks came in and handled his business.  Major props to this young man.  I just hope he don't do this kind of hot shooting to Central... :D :D

Like I said?  We had to claw and scratch for this win.  But, a win is a win.  The officating was horrible in the second half.  I can't sppeak on the first half as I missed it.  We will have to get better.  A lot better.  Free throws need to be made in crunch time.  Smart defense without fouling will need to be improved on.  Silly turnovers...  ect...

We have to take care of business with teams we should beat so we can stand a chance to get with the likes of Livingston, Ozen, and hopefully sweep Nederland.  We do not have the kind of team that can look past anyone.  Will may have to battle to get this one tonight against Vidor...
