1. I'm not even worried about them.  I can get a visual picture of how these two (or  one ) are.... You see, even in giving the more superior team props, they still want to pull silly moves.
 2. That guy is loony...  But he have a reason to be....  Imature though...
 3. Now, about the Friendswood football team..  Great game.  You crushed us like a can. Now to 'Fruity flavored tropical drink #1' guy, put a lid on it.  You probably don't even play for the Mustangs.  You make yourself look foolish when u act like that.
 4. FW  executed great in this game.  You picked us appart today in every way possible.  It seems like somebody did their homework.  Good luck on the rest of the way. But Jags, you killin me.  We been running out of the I formation all year, and I didn't see it once today.  Playcalling became too predictable.  An Coaching, you cannot pull the starting QB to put in a utility guy and expect him to make plays.  FW continued to punk us on both sides of the ball.  what do we do to respond?  Nothing.  The coaches and players seem to be content with FW doing whatever they want when they want.  We not once even knocked the FW QB down.  Were getting blown out and you have 4th and short...  We still have a glimer of a hope at this point.  you Punt to an offense that have been having their way with the defense..  Some things I just don't understand.  It is not ok to get blown out and don't even try to make adjustments to stop th bleeding.  This loss was just like the LaMarque lose in '06.  We have just as much talent on the field as the othet team and we get outcoached.  Props to that FW coach.  He sure knew how to hit us when it hurt.
 5. This may be the saddest mess I've ever seen.  Honestly.  This is what will happen  with great field position.  FW have had it the whole first half.  We can't cover the pass man to man or their recievers will make our CB's look silly.  We can't play zone or they will pick us apart.    On offense, our QB is a statue.  he can't move.  heck, half the time, he won't throw.  he just sit back there taking sacks after sack.  We haven't ran the I formation yet.  If I was FW I would run the score up..  Maybe if we keep getting smacked around, then our players and Coaching will wake up and actually make this competitive.  FW even punked us out.  Hitting our players, we fumbling.  then we get up hurt.  You better get out there ang get yo pride anf dignity back in this second half, Jags.
 6.
I haven't posted in awhile but Central wins if they limit their turnovers to less than 2 this game, I beleive most of the games they lost this year were because of turnovers. I hope the weather is bad because Central is a lot better bad weather team. I guess if you can play in Hurricanes, Floods, and Freezing Rain in an outdoor stadium on grass, everything after that is Easy ! But the reason I'm posting is I've got to ask BmtSoulja this, how long do ya'll think you'll keep Coach Washington ? Heck, all Coaches say they aren't  leaving but unless you are the only game town, (WO-S, Newton, Kirbyville) and do not have to compete with others schools for players, equipment, and stadiums (Ozen, West Brook) other schools can offer the bigger money, title (AD), etc. than Central. Was he the OC or DC last year ? Because if he is the DC, Central always has a tuff Defense Year In and Year Out. I'm sure other schools are already looking at Coach Washington ?
Truth be told, I think Wash stays. Heck he've been a part of the organization since Central's beginings.  I think he's a keeper.  Don't know what kind of coach he was last year...
 7. Never take it personal. Just be here to eat your crow when you take your Loss today.  I know I will be here giving props if my Jags don't pull it out.
 8. Yes, I am.  And I'm normally pretty humble and talk good of the other team, but a selected few Friendswood fans are making that really hard to do (there are actually a few of the Friendswood fans that just wanna see good football and respect their opponent).
 9. Thanks for the support, SETX!  Jags will try not to dissapoint yall.  Shout out to our brothers in the West End. Good luck to you as well!
 10. Congrads to Central on their first win of the season.  Not to bad for a team with some of their starters still playing on the gridiron...
 11. Your nickname must be Cashew because you are surely a part of the Peanut Gallery...
 12.

Phatmack, you going to pick me up? With Central advancing tomorrow, I'll drive the following week.
You won't feel like even driving home after the beatdown by FW. I know lot of hope exist now that that LaMarque has declined but, the monster is still there. But hey! Keep hope alive. At least the Jags will win the halftime show. Just for the record when was the last time any team in your area won a state title. Wasn't it WOS in about 1987? If the Jags keep it close maybe they lose by less than six. You guys struggled with your mighty state ranked PNG, who was exposed as  an over-rated flop in the playoffs. Who did they petition to get them the phony state ranking????. BTW please tell Sister Soulja that when I say Galveston County, it means that I live in West Texas City which part of LaMarques school district. Oh yea that was a real sweet win over Ball which lost seven or eight starters who relocated last yr after Ike . In other words "big freaking deal" those boys are starting over , they only had 36 players on varsity.
:D :D Sister, huh?  Real cute coming from someone whose name sounds like a fruity flavored 'soft' drink.  Stick to the corny David Lettermen auditions, because you will never make it big time with that garbage, sunshine!  :-* :-* Why are you even talking about PN-G?  Yall would have gotten beat by them as well.  It took Brenham to beat them.  Last I checked, Brenham was NOT located in Galveston County.  Also, Brenham had athletes they used to their advantage.  Ohh wait!  Friendswood have those kind of athletes, right?  ::) ::) ::) ::)

The first loss came by 6 points to a team that won a tough 5A district and  just beat the last year's defending 5A champ in the playoffs.
What? O'Neal and Daws were both played against PNG. And played well. They each scored and each carried the ball over 20 times.
Damon Heard was out.  He lead the team with yards per carry.  Meaning he was the one bussing the long runs early in the season...
A very good athlete...IMO, central won that game...sorry, but you don't throw consecutive penalties towards the end of a district championship....smells like a rookie ref to me
First we go from saying our best players were out, some one calls your bluff, oh we were missing the guy who had the most yards per carry, but the refs really cost us the game. Guys - just button it up and see what the boys can do on the field, yall are embarassing your sons!
Dude, there was a guy that said that one of our RB's were out.  I came in to confirm that.  I never once blamed our last 2 losses on a player out.  Do you see my signature?  That's what my Jags do.  Stop trying to sike your own self out to hide your fear that your team will be going home tomorrow afternoon...
 14. I havn't seen the my Jags on the court last year.  Honestly, how do we look out there?  How have Chris Smith been doing?

 17.
BC is lucky that Huntsville fell apart like a cheap suit and choked that away, but any how they are playing Friendswood on Saturday! To Friendswood it doesn't matter if its BC, Huntsville, PNG, Dayton, Geese Crook, Crosby, etc, etc, etc they'll be happy to end whomevers season.  Fact is theirs only a handful of teams that can hang with the WOOD and they don't happen to come out of districts 18, 19, or 20.
Ha ha!  Very funny!  I think we just played a good game and was too much for Huntsville.  Also, I'm willing to bet that Huntsville would have eaten Friendswood for lunch.  #7 and #9 would have had their way with the Friendswood defense.  Those guys were the real deal.  Take nothing away from those guys.  And for you to say that shows your ignorance of playoff football.
 18.

The Santa Fe loss was inexecusable though they were beat up at that point in the season but injuries are not an excuse .  The other two teams FW loss to are both still playing, one in 5a D1.  Saying Dayton would beat Friendswood now is obsurd, FW dominated that game they just got sloppy in the last few minutes of that game to make it closer then it appeared.  I saw the game against Nederland and I can assure everyone it wouldn't of mattered if they had their starting qb,infact that week PNG was on a bye week and some of their players and coaches were at the game and all I heard is how impressed they were with Friendswood.  Comments like "I didn't think they would be that fast", that is a huge physical team" were coming from PNG players.
Your same logic applies to that "medicore" GCM team, except ALL of their losses where to teams still in the playoffs! Dawson, Dayton, Crosby, Central. Maybe, just maybe, you Mustang fans do not know what the heck you're talking about! So if PNG was impressed, we should all be impressed? Child please!
Good points!
 19. In my opinion, FW - Karaam =  a loss.  I don't care if it is by 1 point or 3 TD's. This team could be better than last year's bunch.  I just wanna see if our coaching staff opens it up.  But if you can't stop our running game, by all means, milk it all day...
 20. I was looking at the video.  Maybe it was just me, but the defenses were horrible.  The D-Line gets no penetration.  Also, when the LB's are in positions to make tackles for short yardage, they just stand there and wait for him to come to them, instead of attacking him and meeting him in the backfield.  I don't think he could do this against an 'Angry' Defense that will meet you back there like they have a purpose...
 21.
I'm sorry guys, I know this is a FW and BC thread, but I have to stick up for my cougars here. We've obviously seen better days, but I think all teams go through up and down periods. These past couple of years, it's just been lamarque's turn. Next year is our year to make a statement. Now, as for FW vs BC. I'm going to give BC all the props in the world because of how well they've played this year. No doubt they're a great team. However, you CANNOT judge friendswood by their record. I live in galveston county and I have seen several of their games this year. I can tell you that in those loses, they were without a couple of their main players, especially #11 (who, by the way, put up 140 yards and 2TDs on BC last year) - and a nice 60 yard run to boot - it's on youtube somewhere. Not saying #11 would have made a difference against angleton (would have helped), but definitely against santa fe. My point is this: don't rely too much on who FW and BC have played this season. By this point, both FW and BC are different teams - better in my opinion.
I've seen all of those youtube videos that the 'friendswood fan' put up.  They were impressive, no doubt.  But there were no Central highlights...  I wonder why?  I was more impressed with the long bomb than the long run by Cole.  The Central Defender didn't wrap up and the other defenders stopped persuing thinking that the kid was going to go down.  I do agree with you that both teams have gotten better.  I still say that this years team have the possibility to  be better than last year's team.  And that team gave you all you wanted and some.  With a 'predictable' offense...
 22.

7-0 sounds like a struggle to me, not too mention it was against a mediocre team.  Three touchdowns may be a stretch, but I really believe BC is the team that has alot less room for error if they have any chance of winning.
Medicore!? In the spirit of the holiday, I'll refrain, but 7-4 is not medicore for a second year program!
I'm the same way, man.  You and I know that Goose Creek would give any team fits...
 23.
WE JUST HAVE TO GO OUT THERE AND PLAY LIKE WE WHERE COACH AND EVERTHING WILL HANDLE IT SELF
Good luck with that, Kid.
 24.

Looky here Friendswood fans!!!  Last year you guys said the same thing about how great you were and how simple those jags looked!! You all had great expectatiobs and high hopes.. You predicted a big win... And though you got the win... It was not big... This Jag team is better!!! Trust that!
8)
[/color This is chance for Central to make a statement. FW is what it is. All that speed from the Jags has been seen  before.  Remember Angleton ? FW hasn't let a team clock 50 pts on them. The Jags are facing a team better than PNG. FW has an lb #44 that will be on that qb all day. The Jags speed will their asset. You can run on FW, but FW can score quickly. LaMarque ran on them and lost by a missed xpt. If this turns into a track meet the Jags are in trouble in my opinion. FW has played  way better competition over the yrs than the Jags by comparision. FW 35 Jags 24. P.S. I'm in Galveston County and I can confirm that the LaMarque dynasty is done, so it's safe for you guys to get some playoffs wins for the next few yrs now that LaMarque has let go of its stranglehold  on region III. 5 rings in eight appearances , the last being 2006 with the destruction of Waco. It has been a fun ride.
First of all, you need to get off of LaMarque's jock strap.  We're talking about Central/Friendswood here.  Also if FW have 2 LB's that's as good as #44 from Central, don't you think they would have had a better Season record than 7-3?  I see that 2 of your losses have been by double digits.  One of them at the hands of Angleton.  You know, the same Angleton that we took down last year.  Look at our record.  Yes, we have 3 losses as well, but all 3 of those games was by 1 score.  You know, we lost either by a FG or a TD...  But you know, go ahead and pull for Galveston county or whatever.  For the record, we destroyed Galveston Ball.  I bet you hate that!   :-* :-*
