1.
I haven't seen them play this year but I did last year.  I'm just stating my opinion, we'll see what happens soon enough.  Dawson may not be as fast, but they've had their way with Goose Creek for two years now, which BC struggled with recently.
How did we struggle in a Shutout?  They couldn't score, man.  So did Dawson shut them out?  Is that what your telling me? By the way, this is not the Central Team from last year.  If this team opens it up, it could possibly end up better than last years version...
  2.
I think your focusing on one player(#44), I'm talking about overall team speed, and I personally don't think BC is faster then those teams I mentioned.  I'm sorry that you've had to see Dawson the last couple season, thats too bad.
Your saying this and you havn't even seen Central play.  What kind of logic is that?  But at the same time, I have seen Friendswood.  This is my Logic.  If we come out and execute our offense and remain 'smart' on offense, we should be playing for the region championship.  Point blank.

Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I'm talking about a little place called Friendswood.... ::) ::)
Now that's funny.  By far, SgtRey's best post ever.   ;D  ;D  I literally died laughing!!!   :D  :D
Somethin' wrong with his medulla oblongata.  ;D
No Colonel Sanders, You're wrong!  Momma's right! 4.
At first glance my thoughts were that this was going to be a close game, but upon further review I believe Friendswood will win this one by a minimum of three touchdowns.  Everyone talks about how quick or fast BC is and will give FW problems, but the fact is Friendswood has played fast teams all year. Angleton,Dawson, Manvel, Dayton, Brazoswood all have their fair share of speed.  It seems like everyone is under the assumption that Friendswood is a bunch of slow kids, which is probally the way the prefer it.  Truth be told, Friendswood probally has more team speed anyone BC has played, they just don't have that one or two players that can flat out fly.  Friendswood is definitely one of the best coached HS teams in Texas and they beat teams by executing at a level not matched by many schools. BC needs unleash heck to win this one!!
3 TD's?  Now you not thinking straight.  We've played teams that would leave Dawson, Manvel and those other cats in the dust.  I'm willing that you have not seen West Brook or Memorial.  But you know what?  You can just keep on talking and making yourself believe it.  You know what?  I bet that Friendswood is not faster than our District champion PN-G Indians.  And ask them.  They'll tell you that we're fast...

Hope you Jag's dont mind a little purple and white sitting with you Saturday!
Come on out!  Bring your friends out if you want!
  9. I also agree.  I saw one of our O-linemen in a local Dairy queen.  Guy was huge!!!  I talked to him befor the Huntsville game and all I heard was Yes sir...  no sir...  Very polite and courtious Kid.  Talked to some players this weekend after the game and again, the same.    You see, this starts at home.  Great to see that our boys are being brought up the right way.  Proud of my Jags!!

  11. Wild Horses run wild through Ricefield.  Birds seen fleeing for their lives.  (what the heck is a Ricebird anyway?) Defending 3a state champs broke all of the 'Carthalage' in their oponent's nose.  Coldspring become the 'Hot'spring as they burn up Orena's behind! Kirbyville place a Hurrican T'arp' on the Tiger's head.  Makes it to safety. The Newton eagle 'fly high, you know it...  BALLIN!  we so high...  so high..  We rolling!' East Chambers did not take heed to 'Danger'field's warning.  Bruiser the Bruin loves the new 'Cinco Ranch' on his salad. Jags go in the forest and it got late.  They used 'Friendswood' to make a campfire. Cougars attacked the eagle before he flew away.
  12. As the playoff teams dwindle here in setx, the number of creative headlines have dwindled as well.  Let's hear those headlines, Jag fans Brook Fans Kirbyville fans Newton fans Crosby Fans Friendswood fans Dayton Fans Brenham fans
  13. This Roach Is the kind that can fly.....  literally, fly on the football field...  ;) ;)
  14.
but you what jaguars do to mustangs rip them to pieces and eat them for 4 periods and by the way this roach hungry so hide your pie cuz im not coming for a piece im coming for the whole freakin thing
:o :o Wooo hooo Woooo!  :o :o  ;D ;D
  15.
this game the gloves are off!!!!!! i waited all year after that taste they left in my team mouth last year im giving no respect until that clock say 00:00 my team is coming we have something to prove and at the same time something to avenge..... saturday there will be a new roach on the field and that roach will have fire in his eyes ready to kill who every steps in front of me with blue and silver
:o :o  Get 'em, Roach!    That's what I'm talkin about!  Payback!  Is it gametime yet?  ;D ;D
  16. I got Angleton.  I've seen them last year, and I've seen Diggs in person.  I didnt' see this years edition of Brenham, but Ive seen them before.  When they had Jarret Lee.  I assume different players same plays.  I think Brenham do have the horses to stop Angleton's running game. But do they have the horses to stop it completly?  It will take one mess up for the kid phenom to break a long run.  Confidense dwindles after this.  Angleton by 13.

The Friendswood offense is only slightly less potent as last year, but is still plenty good!  And, the Friendswood defense is much better than last year.  I see the Mustangs pulling away late to win by 10.
Crying and whiney?  Are you sure those were Jag fans?  I don't believe it was me.  I don't make excuses.  We lost when we had the lead most of the game.  But i'm here to say that it ain't happening this year.  And if somehow we do lose this game, once again, there will be no excuses.  We just beat a really good Huntsville team this weekend while yall was playing around with who?  WALTRIP?   :o :o  Ok...   8) 8)
Good looking forward to a good game. But if it was not you soulja, there were a ton of folks whining about one play, despite video evidence showing how close it was, they wanted to say the refs were biased. Good call on a bang bang play. simple. Yes we had an easy game last week. But while yall were fiddling around with Nederland, LCM, Vidor, and Goose Creek  - we were playing Manvel, Dawson, Angelton, Texas City, etc. Our district and predistrict schedule can compare with yours very well! Good luck.
Very good post.  We played our share of tough games. We beat a Port Arthur Memorial team that then went on the Beat North Shore.  We lost by 6 points to the 21-5a district champions and Area champion West Brook Bruins.  We also went on to crush Galveston Ball, who made the Playoffs.  No too shabby.  Then went on to lose by 2 points to our District Champion PN-G Indian while we had the lead with less than a minute left in the game.  And I find it funny that you say that we were Fiddling around (  :D :D  I really find that funny though  ;D ;D ) with them.  Vidor and Goose Creek were actually really good teams and would give Friendswood all they wanted and some.  Goose Creeks RB was the real deal and was always 1 missed tackle from taking it to paydirt...
  19. My Jags are not finished.  We don't know what the word 'done' means...
  20. No more flying under the radar.  If your still standing in round 3 of the playoffs, people know who you are.  Just come out and take the wind our of they sails early.  Then knock they butt out.  Lets get it, Brook!

  24.
If you looked at the stats from last years game, Karam wasn't so much a factor as was geutreux and cole. I think this game will be a real close game, closer than people realize. I can easily see this being another 1 point game.
shoot, You must have didn't see the 60 yard bomb threw by Karaam off his back foot and caught the Friendswood receiver in stride...
