2. The Indian team that we lost to was a good team.  They had a couple of good backs.  Our offense wasn't good but our defense was lights out. anchored by Anthony Collins on the line.  Had a few shutouts that year. I don't know.  Probably was me.  I was in the stands that night in the stands on close to the south end zone.  Was a lot of us Jag fans happy that night.  BTW, I was not dancing to that Foolishness!  ;D  ;D ;D
3.
In desending order..... '99 Indians '00 Mustangs '01Bulldogs '08 Jags '04 Jags All these teams either won Reg 3 in their respected divisions or played in the Regional Championship
You must mean the '03 Jags, 85.  the '04 Jags only won 1 game...The '03 Jags lost the regional championship game...
4. If you go to the home page and go to Complete Games, you will see the Central / Nederland game.  You can also see the Central / Lumberton game.
5.

Boooo!  We're gonna take the Indians!  ;D
After last week..... Who knows what Jaguar team will show up??? Indians are playing solidly, and... getting BETTER every week. Maybe I should have put in my prediction that BMT Soulja finally breaks down and starts dancing to Cherokee  :D
That's not dancing.  I'll be throwing a fit.  yall will think I'll be dancing.  Lol!
6. :D Mustangs a little too fast for the Bruins.  Mustangs survive bear attack. Titans begin marching again.  'Everywhere we go....  people wanna know...whoooo we are...  so we tell 'em....  WE ARE THE TITANS...mighty mighty Titans' Purple feathers and blood is all that remain at Babe Dickerson Zaharius Stadium saturday morning.  Official suspect that there was duck hunting going on.. Pirates punch playoff ticket!  '16 men on a dead man's chest...  YO HO HO  and a bottle of Rum!' Panthers ambush the bears. The L-Train was found on 'Bricks' after their wheels were stolen.
7. Boooo!  We're gonna take the Indians!  ;D
8. Sorry guys.  I guess I have been all caught up in the jawjacking with the PN-G fans.  If you want to squeeze in some Saturday headlines, then let's do it.  If you feel it's too late, then we'll catch you next week...
9. I'm not a gambler by any means, but YES, I would.  We havn't had too many bad games this year.  Also, we havn't had a complete game (4 quarters).  I think you will see one and we walk away victorious against a really good team...
10. There will be no game played on Thursdays.  We only have 3 teams sharing a stadium, not 7 or 8 like the houston schools.  You will get friday games and some saturday games...
11.
I think it will be a good game...or let me say i hope it will. I hope im wrong but I have read these boards all season and each week PNG wins and the boards say, ahhh their great but this week will be a different story, and so on and so on and so on. It's now week 10. Lets see.. i think ive counted about 5 games outta the nine they have played where teams should have either beat port neches or given them a run for their money and png handled em with NO PROBLEMS what so ever and actually went into layoff mode in the third quarters. Central is no better then the teams they have played and apparently not better than Livingston. PNG handles this game with ABSOLUTLEY NO PROBLEMS. From an outsider looking in, it's time to give a good team credit where credit is due. thats why im calling an EASY PNG victory friday night. PNG is head and shoulders above the competition. Except i dont think PNG could hang this year with my Caney Creek boys..but thats a different post and my hearts involved in that one...as is you jag fans hearts involved in this one. I can tell ya this .... NEVER bet on your home team with money cause ya make stupid choices. Don't be blinded by your yearnings for central to win...PNG goes over 40 and Central gets held to the low teens.
Please show me where I don't give PN-G dues.  They are a good ball club tha is on a roll.  I just have faith in my Jags to get back tp their winning ways...
12. There is a McD's on the feeder road oposite of the stadium side of the freeway.  There is a brand new Jack in the box between ML King and Gulf street.  That is accross from the Babe Zaharius soccer field.  If you want real food on the way to the game, there is a chain of resturaunts if you travel to the stadium down I-10.  Checkers, Casa Ole' ect...
13. O'Neal will be playing.  The player that you are in reference to is Heard.  I don't know if he is out for the year, but I do know that he hurt his collarbone and did not play vs Livingston...
14. Coach Stump for 21-5a.  Took a young team that nobody expected to compete for a district championship. Coach Faircloth 20-4a.  Have this Indian team reaved up  from a horrible season last year to a possible outright district championship, trip to the playoffs, and broke the top 10 polls in the state.
15. I finally figured it out.  People think that since PN-G beat Ozen soundly, they will do the same to Central.  I guess you consider Ozen and Central in the same category.  Yes, we both have speed and athletes, but this Central team is the overall better team and it showed when we played.  If you come into this game thinking all you will see is fast and athletic players with sub-par coaching, you will be in for a rude awakening...  If you come to this game, you may be in for a shock if you are expecting PN-G to blow us away...
16.
Soulja -- What is the deal with the back situation with Central. You started out the year with 3 guys carrying the ball. The guy that killed Nederland broke his collarbone so he is out. It looks like one of the other backs is not 100% and has not been effective. So you are just going to run it 75% of the time and give it to O'Neal every time. It's going to take more than speed to beat us.  PNG has not given up more than 20 pts in a game. Final score PNG 35   Undersized Central Jags 14.
Our other backs are ok.  Central will be fine.  The Back that is out for the year is and underclassman so all will see him next year.  We will find a way to win.  We have proven that we can pass when we need to.  Undersized?  Really?  We have speed and size on both sides of the ball.  Not sure where you are getting your info from...
17. I think the game will come down to how our offense can fare against the PN-G defense.  If we can move the ball early and often, we'll be poised to win this one.  If our offense struggles, PN-G takes this point blank.  I think our coaching staff will have some wrinkles that PN-G have not seen and we take this game early and PN-G will try to fight back in the 4th...
18. Yall tone down on the namecalling...  Both sides... Now continue with the longwinded debate... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
19. If that happens, This thread will be placed in the setxsports.com 'classics' section.  ;D ;D :D :D
20.
I'm curious if the coaches of both teams will pull their starters later in the game to hopefully avoid injuries. I know this game means alot to both teams but just wondering what others think about it. Oh and by the way GO INDIANS !!!!!
I asked that earlier in the thread.  Since it means so much for the kids, both teams may go all out for this one.. Unless it turns out ugly for one of the teams...
21.
There should be no concern around the Babe this Friday night. Past history is past history. I have several employee's who live in that area and I go there all the time and have never had any problems. I have sat at a employee's home and ate BBQ and met alot of people who live in the area around the Babe. They are great people and I enjoyed my converstations with them all. Don't let what a few inmature people do keep you from going to a game. Just like at any game at any stadium there will be police to patrol. I hate to see people putting a negative on this thread about going into a certain area of Beaumont or possibly bringing in other reasons. My business is off of College street close to Lindberg. I have had numerous break ins there and its a decent area. Crime is Crime and it will happen anywere. Look at what has been happening in Nederland. They have had alot of vehicles broken into at their games and houses broken into while people are gone. If something is going to happen it will happen. I personally won't live my life in fear or worry about a vehicle. Its only a vehicle.(insurance) Go to the game and support your team with pride and be happy that you have lived another day to enjoy such a great experience of watching 2 of the best teams in Southeast Texas play football. I have said my peace on this. Go if you want or stay home. I'm pumped to go watch this game, and I be da@& if I will let a few bad seeds keep me away or intimidate me.
8) 8) 8) 8)
22.
Soulja, it is what it is and I agree it's wrong to assume and hopefully it will be a mute point. Not the best part of town but we all have our issue's. By the way who is ya'lls #44, here he is the real deal and all ready committed D1 somewhere. I hear he's a good kid, good luck to him.
I'm not from that end of town.  I do know that there are rougher areas in Beamont than that.  But whatever.  I'm going to see some good football Friday.  So If you feel scared, go to church.  Or stay home.  #44 is Jacoby Hale and his have commited to Utah since last year.  He's the heart and soul of our defense.
23.
The only thing I fear about playing at the "Babe" is my car being broken into during the game.
Well stay your scarey butt at home.  It's a dang shame.  Your wife may have more courage than your chicken crap butt. I'm tired of the stupid wise cracks.  I understand exactly what you are trying to say.  it's so amazing the ignorance of some people.  The thing about it is that We are surrounded by cowards like this and we may never know it.  Really silly post by and obviously coward.
24.
Jerry Ball---All pro --Minnesota Vikings  The beast to say the least.  Also a lineman from Oakland who also has a super bowl ring---played at West Brook---what is his name?
Frank Middleton...
25. I was just saying.  Not to get anyone scared.  Numbers don't win ballgames, especially one for a District Title...Jags will not back down from a Challenge as big as this...
