  1. I'm just saying...Some say that it's been luck that we have made it this far. They say we lucked up and beat Lumberton and Vidor. We shouldn't be here. Yada, yada, yada. This comming from fans as well as 'experts'.
  2. James, James, James... Do you really believe this? You're trippin, man! ;D i really believe the dogs can pull the upset off tonight.......go DOGS :D :D What upset? This Central Team was predicted 5th place in this district. We only had 3 returning starters from last year's team. We're the underdogs, right? Nederland, on the other hand, has the old wiley vetern coach with the 'tradition' of making the playoffs and stuff...
  3. James, James, James... Do you really believe this? You're trippin, man! ;D
  4. I cannot believe PN-G is acting like that with their stadium. But ohh well. Play in your own stadium, Memorial. What comes around goes around....
  5. Saw them firsthand! They are getting better each week. Reyes is showing patience. Showing he can make to good throw instead of running the ball. Showed that Cooper is getting mor confident running the ball. Shows that Brook, offensive line is pass blocking better. Their receivers were making some good catches. The Memorial/Brook game will be interesting... Congrads, Brook.
  6. Yes. I enjoyed playing West Brook the last game of the season when we were 5a. Since we are in 4a now, I would like to see the Central/Ozen game as the last game of the season...
  7. I'll go to check Brook out today. Don't dissapoint me, Bruins. I know how good you are...
  8. What? Not cocky. I'm just putting th Saturday headlines. Blame the 'Beaumont Suprise', the 'Orange Missleader', 'the Houston Barnicle' , and the 'Port Arthur Snooze'... ;D ;D
  9. Houston Chronicle special: West Brook Beats Baytown Lee. Reports that the 60 degree weather caused Gander players to suffer from heat exhaustion. If the weather were better, Lee would have won... : : The Titans become the 'Lone Ranger' Friday night North Shore gets fined for breaking the Mercy rule. 84-0. (is this a state record?) Horse meat did not agree with the Barbers Hill Eagle Jaguars mistake the Bulldogs for a 'hot dog' There was a saying, Lions, Tigers, and Bears. After Livingston pays a visit, the saying havechange to Lions and Tigers. The L-Train leaves roadkill in it's wake in West End Beaumont. Parade still going on in the streets of Silsbee. A SETXsports Brodcaster leading the charge. An article of excuses from the WO-S loss last week published by the Orange Leader. Article is 28 pages long.
  10. No, that wasnt a shot at Nederland. i wasa just clarifying that Central was not no. 4 team last year...
  11. Not true. Last year's Central tean was 3rd place. If the format was still 3 teams, Nederland would have stayed home.
  12. I didn't say you stuttered. But it's still funny. Gifts... :D :D
  13. First of all, Central went 4 rounds last year. Get it straight. Second, Any team in this district would have gotten eaten alive by last year's Angleton team. Also, Last years Lockhart team was very fundimentally sound and would have given any of our teams fits.
  14. I agree somewhat. If Central keeps getting lucky they could win district. PNG has the problem of now having to face some big games. Vidor very well could do it. They have the same problem as Lumberton. Have to win out to win district or part of it. For Lumberton though somebody will have to have 2 big ole L in the lost column. Livingston, Ozen, LCM, Nederland, The same got to win out. Lucky, huh? I bet you were one of the people that say we were lucky last year as well, right? :
  15. Fireman - Lil' Wayne (when the Jags come out of the tunnel) Headbussers - Lil' Scrappy (when they are out on the field) The Madden Song (when they all hold up the 4 fingers at the end of 3) We are the champions my friend (when the clock hits 0)
  16. It wasn't really bad defense. It was that Vidor's offense came to play. With all the missdirection stuff and the RB's going different directions, we didn't want to attack too hard and get beat with the big run. Remember, I've seen PN-G play. We've played teams like PN-G.
