  1. That was a nice run that would have put us in the red zone. To me, it appears that he tried to switch the ball to his left hand and stiff arm with his right arm. I don't know if he dropped the ball or the WB defender poked it away.
  2. Texas City have athletes galor. Great test for the Indians as they will see athletic teams in this district...
  3. Jags Offense - B minus. Our passing game needs to get better. Defense - A+ - We hit hard, we play assignment football. Pass defense can improve Special teams - F - Our long snapper will need a lot of help. Once this is taken care of, we will be a force. Overall, I give our team effort a B+. Our defense was the most impressive.
  4. This one will be hard to predict. I know Silsbee took one to the chin by Dibol. But I think this may be a 'scary' game for Lumberton. Deep down, I think the Tigers will come in fired up and take the L-Train. 31-21 Tigers.
  5. Good game, Indians. I got a complete rundown of the game via text message. PN-G seems to be getting better and better. I heard that Coach Faircloth played a lot of different players in different situations. I think he may want all of the kids to see some time on the field!
  6. 8) all they gotta do is get that offense together Trust me, Memorial have proven to me they can move the ball when we played them last week...
  7. He pulled it in with 1 hand. It would have been pretty had it counted.
  8. I give credit to Memorial. When Central played them last week, I didn't see a bad team. They improved greatly since the PN-G scrimmage. You never know. Maybe they will be able to compete with WB for #2 in 21-5a! Great win from the boys from 'da trill'.
  9. Yea, The Woodlands did Katy in again... It was worst last year.
  10. About the same. That game in 2004 was back and forth. Both offenses moved the ball at will. Last night's game was a defensive struggle. Different type of game, but great football, nontheless. If the kid have caught that ball, he would have ran to paydirt. My question then would have been our shakey special teams and if we would have converted. This game showed us that we need to have a talk with our long snapper and a talk with our QB and WR. The QB did good in dumping passes off to RB's but did not pass much to the WR's. There were times when the long guy was open and he threw it short. He isn't scanning the field. Receivers, when you are thrown the ball, lets make the catch and quit worrying about what you will do after you catch the ball.
  11. This was a classic game. Defenses where hitting! Both teams wanted this game. Neither team was intimidated by the other. Game came down to the long snapper on special teams. Brook took advange of good field position due to our miscues. The last play for Central where our reciever dropped the pass that would have been paydirt killed me.Better luck next time, young man. I think there was confusion on the sideline getting the play in. I'm sure this will be addressed before district starts. I'll put this game in the top 5 Beaumont bowl games I have ever seen. Our Defense played lights out, so beware, 20-4a. This Jage team will bring lots of pain on defense. one our special teams get it together and our offense show a little bit more urgency, we will be there when the smoke clears. Shot out to Brook, as I'll be rooting you on in your tough stretch in your schedule..
  12. Tough break. Another year another West Brook Beaumont bowl championship. Keep all those transfers coming to West Brook so we can keep winning! : :
  13. Now this the way a Beaumont Bowl is supposed to be played. there is some boneshattering hits by both sides. Let's finish em, Jags!
  14. Don't get too excited, Sunshine. I won't let y'all Brook fans get off the hook that easy. I'm still here. You know, when one kid picks with the other kid, he talks, and talks. The kid that talks think that the quiet kid is scared. When it comes down to get it on, Guess who lose? . Loud bark, but no bite = Brook (fair weather) fans... ;D
  15. Yes. They beat a good Lion team last year also...
  16. They was fixing the lighting so the West enders will feel safe : : Maybe it was so WB will not try to have an excuse why their passing game was off. The packages? Ohh, those were Beaumont Bowl championship shirts for all the players, coaches, band members, and fans... ;D ;D
  17. I think this would be an interesting thread if the subject would have been worded different. For example ' How would this game have went' or 'how would Vidor have fared if...' The current subject of this thread is obviouly trying to stir the pot...
  18. Actually, this would be a back and forth game. Obvously, WO-S couldn't stop Vidor's power running game. This would be the case in the real game with those huge linemen leaning on you. I also don't think that Vidor would be able to stop WO-S. Hooks would put those speedsters in positions to do big damage. I would come down to mistakes. I see Vidor making that mistake with that Wing T offense. WO-S by a score. I high scoring contest...
