First 3 games. 1. Brook - They have become so cocky it blinds their judgement. No superstar to bail them out this year. 2. Memorial - After the fiasco with the 7 on 7 with the temper flaring, I'm sure that this game with be a must see. 3. Galveston Ball - No love loss between the Tors and Jags when we used to play them every year. Long history. I'll lean toward the West Brook game.

Cannot speak for Nederland, but we (Central) Aren't scared of Dayton. Heck, I would love for them to come back. Looking for sweet payback from 2006!

It's really sad. I read that supposedly, LeBron and Nike paid the cameramen 10G's a piece to get the video evidence. I have just done a search on youtube and the few videos that I found have been removed quickly for terms of violation. Lumberton will live and die on that defense this year! Nederland has to replace a hose of a RB. Remember 2007! Should have big stat lines because of the air game, but will they score alot? Who knows what you will get? LCM will also be under a learning curve. Livingston lost their allworld threat. Vidor...Vidor might move the ball better than the rest and get into the end zone more. Really good assessment! I think that either Nederland (since they always seem to have the top offensive numbers) and Ozen (they have the best RB coming back) will have the best offense.

Different year, same result. Nederland won't stop the Mustang ground game, so whoever the RB is will have a huge game. 35-21 Mustangs.

Dont know how many times I have to explain this.....it has nothing to do with PNG, except for the fact that aside from LC-M, they were the worst team in the district last year. I build everything around them, because they are the team I see week in and out. Lumberton (your 20-4A co champs) had to struggle to beat PN-G. Central (your other 20-4A co champs), beat PN-G 19-0.....no too dominating. I'm not basing the district on PN-G not doing well, I'm basing the district on the teams that did well, struggle with them. Again, in a good district, the district champions wipe the floor with the likes of PN-G last year.....that didnt happen. We had a very down year IMO, and the champs struggled with us. And again, no, you didnt struggle with us because we were a good team. Basing it on head to head matchups with your Indians vs. the top rung of the district. IMO, that's a weak argument. I think this shows me that the district was competitive, not down. Now competitive in comparison to other districts? No.

But what do they know. You and I know they never show and of our local 4a teams no respect. You will probably never see our local teams in the top 10.

BTW, did I mention that I think the Dave Cambell's picks are trash and that a pick for Vidor to win district only because they return the most starters is foolish?

Looks like the only perception of a 'down year' in some people's eyes is when either PN-G or Nederland miss the playoffs. Maybe it is because Lumberton and Livingston was at the top? Or maybe it's that Central (out of all teams) made a deep playoff run. I know this is off subject, but this is what I was thinking while reading this thread.

Ned, i just hope you are a parent and not an offensive player, if by chance you are a player, when you guys come to Lumberton...........let's just say, ice it down and the swelling will eventually go away, because the hitting is gonna be hard hard hard. are you a parent? because if you are why are you talking trash to highschool kids? Let them run there mouths all they want. We'll let the talk happen on the field between the players, not between grown men trying to relive there days of going 0-10 with there only 2 successful years in team history. Ouch!!!
