  1. I saw the highlights last night. I was like 'who are the pop warner team that Lumberton is throwing the ball like that on'? No disrespect to H-F, but Lumberton will not be throwing on teams in 20-4a like that. They will have to go to bread and butter power running and good defense once district starts. Good win, Raiders. Welcome to the 1-0 club!
  2. You said that right. A win is a win. Take it and improve week to week. Congrads, Pirates!
  3. Looks like Stowers picked up a loss in his first game at Little Elm...
  4. Soulja, you almost nailed it Yep. Wasn't that far off!
  5. ;D ;D ;D ;D I told him.... I told him..... I told him.... SEC 11 - ' you ain't tell me Censered'.
  6. You know, that was the first thing I was going to say. I was unable to post last night since the site was down. I told everyone that the young man needed to bat that INT down. You get the ball on like the 30 yard line, vs. the 5 yard line. I loved our offense! We ran some shotgun West Virginia type stuff. We ran the I formation with some creative plays. We ran trips... Single back. It will be hard for defenses to key in on what we do. I love #17 Holman. Big 6'2" receiver played big. Whoever that other receiver was dropped a lot of passes. That's ok though. This can be tightened up before district. We looked good to say that we didn't scrimmage anyone. Shorttexas said it correct that our defense showed flashes of greatness. They played good at the begining of the third quarter! They tightened it back up at the end of the game. Memorial will call heck in their district and just may take that second spot behind NS. The Memorial QB ran that option to perfection. He kept it when he should. When he pitched it, it was at the very last minute, allowing that RB to get big plays. Memorial have some strong backs that kept those legs churning to pick up extra yard and required like 5 Jag defenders to take them down. I only wish they would throw down the field more as they have some capable receivers that burned us a few times Memorial's defense may need a little work. I must say I was impressed with the big LB. He was an absolute monster with a few jaw shattering hits. I think he got hurt. I hope he recovers... Overall, this was a game that I think both teams benefitted from. Memorial may have something this year. Game ball goes to #25 Nijel Daw. The kid led in rushing yards and threw some great blocks from the FB possition. I only hope he would try harder to make those catches out of the flats.
  7. I hate to hear this. I wish you speedy recovery from Jaguar land.
  8. Will you be saying that next year when your Jags are playing at that brand new complex ;D I will have amneisia... ;D ;D !!!
  9. Real football is played on GRASS!! ;D ;D
  10. I do not understand anything that you have just said except the part about Memorial Whipping Central. : Remember, I had a good seat at the PN-G/Memorial scrimmage last week. I will let you answer this question. Do you think ANYONE was impressed with what Memorial showed in the game scrimmage? :
  11. I'm happy for the kid. I just wish he could have been doing that last year...
  12. Friday, at Babe.... Saturday at Babe... ;D
  13. I had a cruddy parking spot for the scrimmage last week...
  14. Mike - Mike's back in the house!!
  15. I should have said that a turnaround that drastic isn't the norm. Thanks for pointing that out. I do see you guys making a turnaround though. I met your coach and he seems like a great guy. But I don't think I'd hold my breath for a playoff record under a brand new coach's system from last year's. Best of luck though ... except when you play us or Central. 8) 8)
  16. Let's go with.... C. Mark it down! ;D ;D ;D
  17. I'm not completely clueless when it comes to small school ball, just sometimes they are mor unpredictable than the big schools. I like my chances this year...
  18. Those darn small school picks be killing me!
  19. BD, we are supposed to be passing the rock a lot more this year...
  20. I was flim - flammed! ;D ;D Trust me, it won't happen again.
  21. Dayton got plenty of coverage when yall 'squeeked' past Cenral (was definately not a 'stomping') in 2006.
