  1. I think you lose if your choice doesn't pass the point spread or if you don't pick the right team to win. Your chances or wining each game is 33%, I think.
  2. Ok. I understand. Thanks, Mike. Ozen (-11) @ LCM Central (-5) @ PNG Lumberton @ Nederland (-21) Vidor @ Livingston (-16) WOS (-19) @ Bridge City Hardin-Jeff (-35) @ Hamshire-Fannett Silsbee (-16) @ Orangefield Hardin @ Anahuac (-40) Buna @ Kountze (-29) Deweyville @ East Chambers (-6)
  3. So if , for instance, If Central beats PN-G by 5 and I pick Central, do I lose?
  4. So do you want me to add my own point spread?
  5. Gulley plays more 'swing man'. He have a pretty good handle and is an ok shooter. He will play guard at the next level.
  6. No suprise upsets here. After 2 straight losses, Jags come out fired up and wins by 20.
  7. His name is Christian Smith. And he will soon fall off the rankings if he don't step his game up. He had an awful last 2 games, both in losses looking out of control at times and missing shots he normally makes.
  8. Rondo is ugly! lol. Which brings me to Barbosa! Looks like speedy gonzales!
  9. It was more of a collective effort. It was a fast break layup drill for Livingston. Whoever was down court got the points.
  10. First off, hats off to Central coming back in that game. Livingston had something like a 16 point lead late in that game and instead of finishing it off Central came back and fought hard to have a chance at the end of the game. Both teams had to fight some tough calls and no calls tonight (according to my nephew both teams were upset and I know the fans for both schools commented about it up in the stands) but both teams played very well at times and not so well at times. Very impressed with Phillip Jefferson with the energy he brought. (I assume that was number #31?). Anyway, good game and look forward to the game in Livingston. Soulja, I was impressed with the way the Central kids acted as well, very classy. There were questionable calls both ways. I wasn't really worried about that. We still had a chance at the end. Several chances as a matter of fact. Jefferson did bring big energy and I believed he should have finished the game off or have gotten more minutes.
  11. Phillip Jefferson Lead the charge to get back in the game late when Gulley fouled out with key defensive plays and big layups. IMO, he should have stayed in to match Livingston's athletisism. The Freshman had another off game. I only wish he played more under control in big games. I have confidence that he will be ready for the second half of district and playoffs. Hats off to Livingston. They pressed and it was effective. They are super quick on defense and boy, they can run the heck out of a fast break and will finish! (Jags, take notes). They owned us on the boards. All of this but believe it or not, this game was looking like Central would run away with it. It started off with Central up like 14-2. We hope to take you next time!
  12. We had like 3 or 4 possessions to score 3 points off of 2 pointers. Instead, Coach intructed our boys to heeve (sp) 3 pointers.. SICKENING! Lions take it 46-50. This is the final.
  13. Interesting one here!!! Gulley for Central and Harris for Livingston fouled out 48-45 Livingston with 2:47 left!
  14. 32-22 Lions. This is a layup drill! we turn the ball over, they lay it up!!! Freakin HORRIBLE!!! I tell you one thing. We will get blown out if we don't stop these ridiculous turnovers!!!
  15. This Livingston team is good! 25-16 Livingston in the middle of the 2nd Period.
  16. You ain't never lying! :D . Ugly in both genders!
  17. Manute Bol and Sam Cassell...........enough said....the voting is over!!!! 8) Did I say E.T.? I meant Gollum. :o :D
