I kind of figured the Jags crossed your mind. Thanks for the congrads, but our offense still got to get it together. I see your broncos dug deep to get the win out. Yes, playing a smashmouth team early will have your boys battle tested for a game which requires a lot of 'trench warfare'. Keep the wining going over there. I'll hopefully catch one of Dayton's games as yall were very classy while in our district.

Where was the big 40+ point blowout? Everyone thought I was crazy on the prediction thread when I was picking Livingston. A couple different plays late in the game and it would have been a different outcome. Dayton is a good team but the looking forward to the state championship game is going to catch them one night. Best of luck Dayton and congrats to Livingston on a great year. likewise... could have been a larger margin of victory had a couple of plays gone our way. I'm banking on the notion that we just got to play the best team in 20-4A playing their best ball... and I am glad we got tested. Eh hem... ;D

All I know from them is that they are a tri-district champion in 17-4a with a 7-3 regular season record and their color is Maroon and White. Don't know much else, yet.

Are you serious? Are you talking about the Sharpstown Apollos? They have made the playoffs and are winning? :o

I think Brenham made the playoffs with a .500 record at 4-4 I beleive. They may not be the Brenham that we are used to seeing.

Jags Defense played lights out and pitched the second shutout in a row. Like I said in an earlier post, I'm not worried about the defense, although we did jump offsides a few times early in the game trying to time their snaps. On offense, you HAVE to punch it in when you are in the red zone...PERIOD! Stupid penalities kill our momentum. With the type of offense we run, you have to score in the red zone. Those linemen work too hard to have drives stalling. We passed some. I still think we need to pass a little more. I give our defense an A+ and the offense a C+. Moving on to the next round. I'm so proud of you, Jags.

;D ;D You really want that? BTW, I sat by 2 older Nederland fans. Really appreciate them comming out to see the Jags. They was making as much noise as us!

I like the way out defense is playing. I just wish our offense can punch it in when we in the red zone, this game would be out of reach... I look forward to a more productive second half. let's gooo, Jags!
