  1. I don't know. I missed the game. Heck, I don't even know that young man's name.
  2. ??? Do you really not understand what she is saying? I understand. :-\ :-\ . Was that sarcasism? District 204A is so competitive that coaching is the difference. Look at Nederland year in and year out and at the same time look at Ozen. I promise Ozen usually puts some very talented kids on the field but coahing has failed them. I believe everyone on this board knows Matt Burnett doesn't play , he coaches. It is ultimately up to the kids to win but the guidance from the coach can be the difference most of the time. No sarcasm just questioning the theory. ozen ALWAYS puts the most talent on the field. either them or central. jus no coaching.. Newsflash...Central is in the third round of the playoffs...Seems like some pretty decent coaching to me.
  3. Where them Ozen fans at?
  4. We know this game will be close. I Just hope we will be standing there when the dust settles.
  5. This thread is titled Nederland Seniors. There are Central threads, if it isn't enough start more. Thank you for pointing out that this is a Nederland Thread. Gosh, you are smart!
  6. waa :'( : :
  7. I couldn't make the game. Any updates?

  9. Everything will be ok out there. At one point, we used to change coaches a lot. Yall will find the right guy.
  10. Dayton hands Rosenberg a couple of 'Terry' towels to dust themselves off after the stampede Angleton became the 'Mildcats' after those Jags got a hold of them 'Stangs give Gilmer a 'Blackeye' After Kirbyville was finished with them, they were playing H'Arps on their way back to the buses Franklin moved slow as Franklin, the Turtle as Newton raced by them
  11. The only other team to put 40 something on us was West Brook, which was due to C. Michael (Best RB in the State). I agree with ATWILDCAT. The score will not be that much. This will be a grind it out game.
  12. true, wouldn't some dump passes open it up even more? the tightend is sitting in there, slip him out dump it to him. it will do wonders opening it up. it also keeps the chains moving. we know we can go deep. the short dumps will fit the offense. still flinge it time to time. Very true. But you know the old saying...'If it aint broke, don't fix it.'
  13. I'll be convinced if we can slow this Angleton offense down and get this win.
  14. I agree! One thing I also noticed...I'm tired of our fans leaving early. Anytime the game gets crucial, we have fans leaving. This mess have been going on all year. The other team score a TD in the fourth or if we don't get a 4th and 1 in the fourth, we always have fans that leave and can't take it. Even when we are up and in control, they leave early. the excuse is 'I want to beat the traffic'. These kids need our support the whole game. If you want to stay for 3/4 of the game, save your money and stay home! Let's get it together!! Lockhart fans showed their pride and embarrased us!
  15. Yall fans are louder than ours. Trust me! ;D
  16. Yeah I think Friendswood does want a rematch against the team that gave them their only loss, plus they are a fellow 24-4A district school. I remember that game back in 1990 and Central did have alot of talent on that team, but Angleton's defense was lights out that year. That was an exciting game for Angleton, but a heartbreaker for Central. Now back to 2008 and I think this will be a great game. Athletically, Central should match up well with Angleton. All of their skilled position kids are very fast and athletic and even though they have scored 110 points in the past 2 games, they have done it without their best RB. He may be back this week though, which would be a big boost to Angleton's attack. Central may have faced good rushing teams this year, but I don't think they have faced the speed that Angleton will bring offensively and defensively. Angleton's defense isn't a lights out defense, but they aren't bad. They have real good athletes on that side of the ball. Central should have their hands full and if Angleton gets ahead early, it could be a long night for Central. In any case, I expect a great game by 2 good teams and for all you Central fans driving out to Galena Park, have a save trip to and from there. PS: Friendswood, be careful what you wish for......... Classy post. Also, welcome to the board! We have been half the year with our one of our best athletes also. He came back for the playoffs. He was a little ginger in the North Forest game, but looked to be to his old self against Lockhart. We have faced fast athletic teams this year. This Angleton team may be up there as one of the best. If we execute on both sides of the ball like I know we can, we edge this one out.
  17. Nice try man! But no cigar! :D Wasn't me! ;D ;D
  18. Man! This is like the 15th Jag thread! :o 8) 8)
  19. I wish there was a way we could have gotten Angleton in Beaumont or probably at the New Rez....ohh wait. Nevermind. Scratch that!
  20. Not going to delete anything, guy! 8)
  21. I mean, the football season is over and there was already a big thread on the Nederland/Magnolia. I figured that everything would have been said on done on Saturday. That's all I'm saying. You didn't see Lumberton or Livingston doing this.
  22. Not watering the field this week!
