I love it! Playoffs are 2 weeks off. Dayton fans are rooting for Nederland so they can get their hoofs on the L-Train. L-Train is not scared and fell they can face any and all comers (as they have done pretty much in this district). Nederland is excited to be back in the postseason race with the best offense in this area. After a lackluster 2007 season from the Jaguars, they are back in the postseason with a salty defense and a ball control offense that they hope to take them far. Livingston is the new kids on the block and even though making it 3 rounds deep in the playoffs last year, they still had to prove themselves and did a good job in doing that by pretty much slapping this district around with the exception of the L-Train. West Brook gets love too. They have the best RB in the state in 'Beast' Michael. They will try hard to get a State championship run, which they are fully capable of. Overall, this will be a good playoffs, especially in the first round. 19-4a is loaded and will play tough against our boys. Let's get together and rally behind our boys. Even though they are 5a, let's rally behind Brook also! When I say everyone, I mean Everyone! Let's do it!

Not a bad group here. I think that Cardenas, Bellows, and W. Jefferson should get consideration for offensive MVP. You have the no. 1 passer and the 1st and second best receiver in district here.

Livingston's speed didn't really impress me overall. If you can contain the Harris kid, you'll have done a lot. Livingston have just as much speed overall as Ozen.

This was a good game and Sterling's game play was good. They started off trying to run the ball to no avail. On the Zone read, Sterlings' QB looked scared and unsure. For the most part, Sterling's offensive line did good in the pass protection. They started allowing sacks later on in the game. They will get bounced in the first round, just like 82 said. Looks like Brook played down to the competition. Seems like they were trying to force the action to Michael early and got him tired early in the game. Second half is when it started clicking on offense. After Michael got a little breather, Brook came out with the pitch plays and option plays to Michael. After Sterling started keying in on the run again, Bombs away. Her is a couple of things that I noticed. Taylor Reed is a beast. He was in on a lot of plays delivering big hits. Lopez is so elusive on punt returns, I believe he needs to return kickoffs too. That basketball quickness showed tonight. Also, #3 and #4 need to be going both ways. They are great athletes and will help this pass defense out a lot. Even though Michael and Louis did their thing, I give the game ball to WB kicker #1. He made a couple of TD saving tackles in the open field. One of them was a hard hit. One thing that Brook can work on that will help them beat a good passing team in the playoffs is to start playing man defense. Sterling kept finding holes in that Zone they were running. Other than that, I think they will be fine.

I'm still in shock with what Harris did us. And with the way yall played, never giving up and turning it on in the second half, yall deserve it. Good win.
