I believe in 2003, the Nederland receiver, Atterberry, got ate up on a slant rout by Ozen's Tony Ward. That kid was slow to get up ofter this hit. But he went to the sidelines, sat out one play, and came back in like nothing happened.

Seeing him run against North Forest, he didn't look like he have his speed back. Hopefully he have gotten healthier and he can help this offense get better.

Probably a few years back at the Westfield/Westbrook game. A Brook a kick or punt returner decided to jump over the pile. Why did he do that. The defender and him met in midair. Brook player fumbled the ball and was found laying in that same spot 6 minutes after the play was over. I was like Ouch!

A lot of teams use the artificial grassy turf. I see that Rhodes stadium uses that old Astro Turf. It hear it's like playing on cement with a thin carpet over it...

Yea, they will. Coach Stewart is not one for hiding how he feels. After reading that article, he did see a lot of positive in the defense, so they are about ready to play on that next level. If they do, Dayton will be your Div II 4a state champions this year.

True, but outscoring opponents will only get you so far. Last year's Dayton team I felt was a darn good scoring team also. The defense had a big letdown against Lake Travis. There are teams out in these playoffs that are like Lake Travis.

Yea, after watching Livingston's first drive and seeing how hard those big RB's ran, I know at one point or another that they would bust a long one.
