  1. It would seem that you are right, Bigd, by looking at how this thread is going.
  2. Did Brook care about Dropping those games when they were garbage from 2003 and back and constantly was the warmup game for Ozen and Central? Think about what you are saying. These games are a plus for someone;Ozen, Centra, or Brook. It also draws a big crowd every time. IMO, If we play Brook, fine. If we don't, fine. Don't realy matter, IMO.
  3. What does that mean? Don't read into this wrong BMTSoulja,it was just something that I experienced with him one on one, good kid though. I said that becasue I might know more than you think I do...
  4. Maybe so. You have to think of BISD as a whole. It does benefit Central and Ozen to play a team like Brook. Also, what was being said on the West end of town when Brook was garbage about playing two 4a teams? My point exactly.
  5. Jags beat a 5a team and it would have been 2 if it wasn't for Ike. Brook whipped a 5a team friday and will whip one this week. That tells me that it's more about Brook being good and not the teams they are playing being sorry.
  6. What does that mean?
  7. So your nerves were fine last friday? No. ;D ;D
  8. Cmon Soulja you have had plenty of time to study... put your best foot forward and give us them headlines 8) : > ;D EXTRA EXTRA READ ALL ABOUT IT.... C Mike Fails Bruins..... only gets 297 yds rushing in first half. Beaumont Enterprise manager looks for SETXSPORTS.COM Moderator for picking against Jaguars Pirates tell Indians that their arrows are dull Panther gets hit by runnaway train. After train stops, it is determined that the panther was playing possum and goes wild at the end. They remove 'Bears' out of the phrase 'Lions, Tigers, and Bears' Stump anounces that West Brook Bruins will now be addressed as the 'Beaumont West Brook Football Giants' with a picture of Christine Michaels as the new logo.
  9. That's right. We have not broken those Black unies out.
  10. Even on a bad night, we will put up at least 17 points. If our offense is moving the ball and our defense cause a few turnovers this may be interesting.
  11. Thank you, PA Snooze! Chris Johnson, you better eat that tiny Center for lunch! ;D ;D Televised game? Sounds good to me.
  12. This sounds good to me. I just prefer that we win by more than 1 score. I don't think my nerves can take a close game!
  13. I think Short means Nederland, not NDN's. Simple mistake for my Jag brother... ;D ;D
  14. Come on, Ozensfinest. We supposed to be rootin Brook on. I hope they don't lose another game and make it to state. Now, I know last year that Brooks secondary was pitiful and that is what cost them the playoff game. That was last year. I believe they are striving to fix that. Also, believe it or not, there are some of the Brook fans that support Central and Ozen and will come out to watch us. (except for westend1 who chose to watch Nederland...I'm not going to start on him that!! ;D ;D ;) )
  15. As the day gets closer and closer, I'm slowly starting to feel really good about this game. Seems like Nederland faithfuls are just as nervous about this game as I am.
  16. I watched the first half of this game Sunday night. I will watch the second half this evening. Livingston's secondary is solid. What I have seen, if you can keep it on the ground and be productive without having to pass it, you stand a good chance of beating the Lions.
  17. You ever thought that yall might go back to being the same team that stepped on the field with WO-S? I believe the starting lineup was the same, with the same Grogan running the pill.
  18. If we wrap up when we get a hold of him, we sould be alright.
  19. Trust me, I have not forgot! ;D ;D
  20. You're right. And what's sad is that this kid wasn't even projected to play offense this year. He is supposed to be on defense. I guess when things get a little sour, we will try to pull out the stops. BTW, we have other athletes on defense they we may need to consider being on offense. Namely at the receiver position... I hope you're calm now Soulja and a bit more rationale! I didn't look at this thread over the weekend while at work and was distracted by the other thread yesterday...but man that hurts! As I'm sure you and every other Jag fan was ticked off...but Lumberton played a good game! Our game plan is RUN! I'll say it one more time for the "slow people" ....RUN! When all else fails, you RUN! Now, I'm no coach but I think we should be able to throw when they are backed off us, but with all that speed in the backfield we have, sometimes it feels good to RUN! Our WR's will get their chance and when they do...they gotta take advantage! As far as next week...I don't think we'll get crushed! But it will be a "Dawg Fight" and they better be ready! If people don't like the product...don't show up! DON'T COME TO THE GAME AT ALL! :-[ :'( This is what we got...WE ARE NOT A 1-9 TEAM like in 04...I think Coach J got a raw deal, but Stowers has done it right since he's been here...we are either gonna support him or not! If you quit coming now....DON'T TRY TO COME BACK WHEN WE ARE ROLLING ALONG! : As I always say....we'll be fine. Relax...Take a chill pill, as my Aunt always says. I know Soulja, you'll be there... Now, if we play them again...I think it'll be a different story! We moved the ball on them but didn't exucute! It sucks when 10 people do their job right and 1 screws it up! When they hit Charlie in the endzone there was a blocking bust! The DT came in the backfield untouched! So in that crucial situation a mistake like that is very costly! It would have been nice to see em give it to the FB or even QB sneek...but I can live with it as long as we don't do it again...if we learn from this game...we'll be good! 8) I'm cool now. And yes, I'll be at the game. I just hope we can learn a lot from the Lumberton loss, because there was a lot to learn from.
  21. :D :D Yall have some good ones this week. It's too bad I can't think of one yet.
  22. 8) ;D ;D ;D LMBO!!!
  23. Sometimes you might be better served to take the 96 North exit and go to the Chance "Something" cut off - it's the traffic light that has the Lumberton Municipal Offices on the right, Crawdad's Convenience Store/Exxon on the left. Turn left there and proceed to Hwy. 69. Make a left on Hwy. 69 and come in from the back way. Just a thought. I know what you are talking about. It's W. Chance cutoff. I don't know why I didn't think about that. Thanks. And, if you want to miss the traffic on 96, you can also take the Mitchell Rd exit just before the Y. Turn right onto Mitchell Rd then immediately turn left on Village Creek Parkway (or Old Silsbee Hwy as us oldtimers still call it) and take it all the way to W. Chance (it dead ends into W. Chance). Turn left at the stop sign and go to the light at W. Chance and 96 and cross there. Going this way you miss all the traffic lights and the speed limit is 50. Sweet! I'll remember that in 2010 when we return to Raider stadium. Thanks.
