It's a tradition thing, if Nederland or PNG start district with wins, they are practically crowned champion even if their first games are against the weaker district teams, Central is almost to that point too. Whereas, the rest of us pretty much have to win out the entire season before we are considered champs. It's just how it is... Its good that only you feel that that we have 'tradition'. BTW, I saw a fight tonight too. It was in the parking lot and against rival fans.

Everyone loses games. Just look at what Lumberton were doing. They sucked. Now they are winning. You never know. Maybe it is the Indians time to take a few lumps for a while, you never know.

Defense will be a factor. Central will be ready to play. Offense may turn the ball over 1 time. Still in all, we win 21-7.

Nederland will make the playoffs. They'll be fine. BTW, Vidorians, don't underestimate the Nederland offense. When they are clicking, there is not much you can do.

We started off sloppy. Our QB threw his first INT of the game by forcing the ball in to double coverage. We fumbled on the first offensive play along with many other fumbles. Most of these mistakes happened in the first half. Second half, we eliminated the mistakes. Ozen does have some players on defense. There were some hard hits. As the game went on, it appeared that Ozen got tired, both offensively and defensively. Jefferson caught the one long pass where he outjumped the CB. We continued single coverage and had no problems out of him. Our defense have come a long way, and Impressed me in holding Ozen's offense to 89 total yards! :o Game ball goes to our D-Line for stepping up and driving the Ozen line back and allowing our LB to be in Ozen's backfield all night. Good job, 'big nasties'!

Butler was a way better athlete than all of them from what I have seen. I liked the Atterberry (sp) kid too. Catches the slant routs, takes a lick, and get right up an lines up for the next play.
