  1. This was another good game. I thought we were done after #9 Thomas went down on the first play. We sucked it up and kept low on our blocks. We kept running the ball well, We passed ok. I just like the fact that when we were making big plays in the passing game, it stopped Nederland from keying in on that run so much. We milked the clock very well. On defense, we did everthing possible to get that animal Grogan under control. We got pressure on Bellows and like the Nederland posters stated, he was off most of the night. We played tight on the receivers. To sum it up, this was a well coached game by the Jags. Way to redeem yourself from last week. I'm very pleased seeing how we are capable of playing. Also on that last FG, I figured Nederland called that time out to ice our kicker. It was us that called it. I'm still don't understand why. Was thinking we was going for the 4th and 5. Oh well, Can't argue with the win. On a side note, the field conditions were fine. Didn't appear too muddy. Thank you, Nederland fans for the congradulations on this post.
  2. They say the key to green healthy grass is an ample amount of water. Yes, Soulja has a green thumb. I'm just following orders. ;D I'm just wondering, since when did they use fire hydrants to water the grass??? We used to get Helicopters to come over and drop it from the sky! ;D :D LMBO :D

  4. We ran it last year, and we sucked.
  5. I'm not a fan of the spread.
  6. I heard he hates Ozen and is at Central.
  7. No. I went to the Rez to get rain dance lessons from the Indian Spirit. Push comes to a shove, I'll show my moves tomorrow night. ;D ;D
  8. Who, me? That was my stunt double that you saw! ;D ;D
  9. Hey Soulja...would that be the Denver Broncos you're talking about losing Sunday. If so, that's my NFL team too. Yes, the Denver (Orange Crush) Broncos is my NFL squad!
  10. that's right... special privileges for soulja and karma for starting an entertaining thread. Lumberton may not bring up the past in any way shape or form. Especially a certain "8-7 'beatdown'..." ;D Thanks, dude!
  11. I don't think that was the case. Our first 2 games (Baytown Lee and Brook) were rainy and muddy games. The Nederland/Central 2007 game was dry conditions, I believe. We played Nederland later on in district.
  12. Not worried. We used to not getting respect.
  13. Favor....Jags. Most of our plays are not cutbacks and things like that. We just run at you. We don't pass much anyway. Nederland's offense is more finess with the good widouts. Will Bellows be able to make accurate passes with a wet ball? Will Cardenas and Co. make good catches and make great pivots? With Grogan's size, will he have enough traction to escape Jag defenders? These are questions that will be answered tomorrow night.
  14. I know. I just figure it would be nice for Bulldog nation to take a trip with me down memory lane. I think they enjoyed themselves.
  15. It will be a good game. But the question is who will handle Gulley? And if you remember, Phillip Jefferson was coming into his own last year as the team's third leading scorer behind Big Lincoln and Gulley. oh yeah i forgot to mention another reason we will never lose to central UMMMMMMMM we have a guy named Andre Boutee I'm not going to argue with you on that, my friend.
  16. Looks like his head came rolling off of his shoulders!!! :o
  17. :o Imma buy you a Jag hat now... Mike-Mike's in the house!

  19. Runningwise, no. He might be a better passer though. On the video, did you happen to see who that TD pass was to? Well, little brother is on this team and he is just as fast as that receiver. 'Good job Soulja' - baddog .... 'Ha ha, I know.' Soulja Wow, having to bring up past victories to cushion the blow of an upcoming Friday night butt kickin,,,,, ;D ;D He might be a better passer than Williams was but the only thing he will be passing Friday night is GAAASSSS!!!! Truth is this one will be a good game, I don't know yet what Nederland really has. I guess we will find out Friday night....Call me BMTSoulja1, we can talk trash before the game starts or after the game talk shoulda, coulda woulda's....See Ya... I just gotta ask this one question BMTSoulja1, how did you pick Nederland to win over Central in the pickem contest on the other website.....Come on know, you secretly trying to go with who you REALLY think has the better team or what???? ;D ;D ;D James, you know I respect Nederland football, and you respect my Jags. I look forward to the pregame conversation as well as the Halftime talk. If we put our athletes open space, we will put a lot of scores on the board. How good will that great offense be when you are playing from behind? Probably not as potent. BTW, I might have to change my picks. I was so down about the Lumberton game, it may have clouded my judgment. ;D ;D
  20. A WO-S week 0 2008 type game, that's what!
  21. Looks like the starters were still in the game. I know because Bellows found himself on the grass for most of the second half and Cardenas and company was getting jacked up on the line. I was making a joke, soulja. I remember the game vividly. I really thought we were going to blow the huge halftime lead. The Jags had me scared! :o ;D ;D
