I'll take my crow with squeezed lemon juice. I thought that Indian running game would overwelm the Nederland defense. I guess Nederland is once again on a roll like they were last year.

I don't want to talk down on another school, but this was not competitive at all. The Bear team couldn't tackle, couldn't catch, couldn't throw, had their heads hanging, pretty much all fundamentals were out of the door. There is a change needed here. There is a role model or something that can modavate these kids. It's truely sad that our second team offense can move down the field like that. There is nothing realy for me to say about my Jags. They didn't turn the ball over and did what they was supposed to do. I wish the Bears the best of luck on the rest of the season. They'll need it. :'( :'(

Wow I thought Lumberton had a gun slinger? If they are a running team we should be able to take this one. How does the L train stack up against Central? First off...Lumberton should have more success throwing the ball in this game. Second, they are not just another running team. They are a very good running team that can and will run on U at will! Just ask anyone from outside of Lumberton that has seen these backs run the ball against their teams this year and they will tell U what they're capable of. Lumberton has big, bruising, qualtiy backs... but I don't agree that they run at will on anyone. Good luck to both of these teams. My heart says vidor... My head says Lumberton. I'm not going to sit here and say they will run on anyone at will, but until someone shows that they can shut them down it will be a hard time getting the win for the opposing team. im sorry, but who have you played with a defense... we have played central... Look ...Central hasn't done anything yet for you to be using them as a barometer. They beat a bad Memorial team by 3 and they beat U. That ain't saying much now is it? I hope the Raiders win this game and I hope they blow Vidor out so I can come on here tomorrow and let U know all about it. Vidor could pull a win out...I just don't think they will. BUt all of these statements about 300 yards rushing and Vidor wins by 2-3 td's is just not reality. That Memorial team has a good defense with a couple of D-1 prospects. They are a good QB from becoming beastly. Vidor kicked it in another gear in the 4th quarter. That's Why I am picking them with a win over lumberton. If they can kick it up to that gear, they will be pretty salty.

I don't know, I haven't actually seen them play in person but just going by what I heard. Every game, we have gotten better and better. Keep looking down on the Jags if you want. Our boys will just keep rising to the challenge and win ball games.

There was no doubt in my mind that we wasn't going to be able to move the ball. Our O-Line did good Tuesday night. I'm a little concerned with our D-Line. We have a huge Kat out there (#77 I believe) that looks to be 6'3" 6'4"ish well over 300 lbs. He was getting manhandled by the Vidor O-line most of the night. If we can get his big butt to get low and get some penetration, a lot of those slow forming run plays that Vidor ran would have been blown up in that backfield.

Does anyone have the boxscore for this game? I can't find it anywhere.

Maybe there was a reason for the score getting ran up. Maybe Paschal was talking noise or they fired one of the Abilene coaches. We will never know.

Bumpity bump

Yes,When I said dominate, I'm going by records. We have blown yall out in the past. However, as we settled into 4a football, these games have been closer and closer, and then yall beat us last year against one of our more weaker teams. Our boys are poised to pay yall back. We have some of our best players on defense and they are seniors and remember how embarrased they were last year. Thank you for the compliment though. you have said you were embarassed before, about getting beat by Lumberton last year, why? you guys got beat by a very good team in the Raiders, and this year I believe you will be embarassed again. just because a team has been everyones red headed step child in the past doesn't mean it will always be that way. I'm just curious why you use the word embarassed? last tuesday I guess you were 1 point from being embarassed by Vidor???!!! When I said 'embarrased', I was in reference to how our boys felt about the whole season. You know, not making the playoffs and having a losing season. I know the Raiders were good last year. Heck, I was on the bandwagon when the playoffs started, if you remember...
