  1. Whatever you say. I bet you wasn't at this game either, huh? If you was, you would have seen the same horsepucky I had to see...
  2. When you are on the foot line, you do a dive play to give yourself room. That was not a dive play. It was another run from east to west. The play ended in the back of the end zone, somewhere the ball had no business being. If anything happens, we do three dive plays, then we punt.
  3. As these district games unfold, these games are getting harder and harder to predict. I know my overall picks are trash so far this year. Gotta do something! Vidor 28 PN-G 17
  4. Brook 49 - 14 Michaels runs for 300 this game.
  5. All I have to say is Respect your opponents, Raider fans.
  6. I really meant that. I know you saw the same game I saw. There was time that we was put in bad possitions. On of them is the tackle in our own end zone when our player fumbled and yall got a TD. Need I go on? It's really sad and sickening, if you ask me...
  7. In that case, there ain't much to talk about now...
  8. Michael is a Beast! That's what he is.
  9. Ozen 24 Lumberton 21 BTW, Ozen big receiver = Willie Jefferson
  10. I think we were intentionally trying to lose that game.
  11. I already gave my take a few posts back. Wasn't pretty.
  12. If Nederland's DB's play 15 yard off of our receivers with no safety help like Lumberton's did and we don't start throwing the pill, I will catch a fit!! We need to throw the ball 40% of the time in friday's game. We need crisp tackling and we need to disguise our blitz packages more. We need a screen pass every once in a while. If we can do these things, this could be an interesting game. The key word here is COULD be.
  13. I'm happy for them Panthers. If you only knew, they have it bad sometimes. I still think the Pirates make the playoffs.
  14. Congrads, Panthers. Way to get 'em!
  15. Our coaching staff wore blue and red underwear.
  16. I thought you had a PAM win 'marked down?' ;D ;D
  17. I'll change that. Nederland 42 Central 24
  18. Great win, Brook. Yall got plenty of time to get that secondary fixed up. I doubt yall will have to worry about NS passing much.
  19. Since we don't seem to be hungry these days (we = Coaching also)... Nederland - 39 Central - 31
  20. Ohh now yall have jokes not, huh? Just remember. Yall are in the same boat as us with 1 district loss. Learn to start being humble and respect your opponent... :-\ :-\
  21. I'll store this post out by giving Lumberton their props. Hanna was a man tonight. Lumberton's Offense was effective, they blocked, and they executed. They looked every bit of a playoff team to me. On defense, they basically kept everything in front of them. They knew we had speed and played their cornerbacks 15 yards off of the line. Their OLB played containment the whole night to stop our runs to the outside. Excellent coaching all night. We blitzed in the middle, they did a screen pass for big yardage. We blitzed on the outside, they did a delayed handoff for big yardage. Our coaching went braindead in this one. I mean, we sucked to the lowest level of suckage. You keep running the same play that they are expecting. We could not move the ball at all in the first half. Hello!!! Lumberton's DB's are 15 yards off the line of scrimmage with NO safety! We don't throw a slant untill the 4th quarter, where our receivers dropped the passes. In the third quarter I believe, we have been moving the ball better. It is 4th and 1 and we're driving. YOU CANNOT GET THE PLAY IN. Kids are asking for the play, you just stand there. You take the delay of game instead of calling a T.O. Then you punt. Possessions later, you call a T.O. on 3rd and long just to come back in do a RUNNING PLAY that have not worked all night!!! Lumberton kicks the ball off to us while it's a 1 score game. Returner bobbles the ball in the end zone. Instead of kneeling it, you take the return and reverse field and get tackled on the 1 yard line??!!! 1st and 10 on your own 1 foot line and you do a run play that have been getting stopped all night and your get tackled fumble and give them a dang TD. Your killing me. Almost all of the Jag fans left after this point. Couldn't bear to see the trash coaching going on. It's almost like the coaches wanted us to lose. Almost like they made a bet with someone from Lumberton. 'I bet I can cause us to lose. Just watch.' It's truely pathetic because our kids shouldn't be forced to go through this. One more thing. Where in the hell was our starting QB in the second half? He wasn't hurt, but mad on the sideline because he couldnt' get in and make a difference. Game ball goes to Beard from Lumberton. This kid was everywhere making tackles and making everything difficult for us. BTW, We will get crushed like a Fanta orange can next week. I bet somebody that wears Maroon and Gray will like to hear that... > > > > > > > > >
  22. I know one dang thing. We better start passing the ball at least to open some things up in the running game. Lumberton is sniffing everything out! On offense, screen passes and delay handoff runs are killing us. Come on, boys! Assignment football, guys! I'm confident we will make the neccesary halftime adjustments.
  23. Time to start your mission, Brook. They don't want to give respect? Take it!
  24. Better watch the LB from Central #44 he is a wildman and he times the snap almost perfect... and his transmission is in high gear all night. I will say this... When #24 and #44 have a head on there will be sparks flying... both young men play hard and with their hearts. The same can be said on the other side as well with #9 and #49. I have had the pleasure of watching all 4 of these young men play against my Pirates and they have heart and desire. #44 Jacoby Hale - LB - 6' 190 lbs Sr #24 Justin Labove - DB - 5'7" 155 lbs Sr #9 Charles Thomas - S/RB - 6'2" 195 lbs Sr 3 year lettermen. Verbal commit to Texas A&M You must mean #19 David Mayfield. We don't have a #49. LB 5'10" - 200 lbs Sr. 3 Year Lettermen
