Last year's team was not very good. You won't see me mentioning much from that team any time soon. So if he was talking about them, more power to him! ;D ;D I havn't heard of the kid going to Ozen. If this is true, it would have been good for him to stay at Central. He have a lanky body with long arms that would have been nothing but positive for us. I tell you one thing...Don't think that Gulley and Jefferson will be the whole team. We won't be missing much if big Jeff leaves...

Wow! There is that 'Discipline' word again... ???

Me and a bunch of other pirate fans had this discussion before. One heated discussion was before the football season even started. So I will not entertain this old nonsense. Bottom line is that we won on that night, and nothing will change tomorrow night. We'll win again. And maybe me or any of my 'buddies' won't have to hear your corny Jay Leno jokes again... : :

In the first half, the scoreboard mysteriously went out, so no one knew how much time was left and stuff. I guess they was trying to work on it, so it would come on briefly throughout the first half. It seemed like the clock only came on when Central was on offense. When Vidor got the ball, the clock goes out. A lot of Jag fans were in the stands including myself using choice words for the situation. In the in the second half, pretty much the same thing happened. Then the clock started working some time in the 4th quarter with only seconds for Central to score the go ahead TD. If my memory served me correct, this is what happened...

Koop you don't rememeber...??? The scoreboard went out at the Vidor/Central game 2006... It was a fishy one too... The game was very long... I think they were waiting on Vidor to go up on the score to call the game.... Don't let Coop fool you. He remembers! :D

He was talking about the last game is Vidor in 2006 when the scoreboard went out and stuff. He wasn't talking about last years game. As far as the Basketball comment, I'll be more than happy to discuss that with you on the Basketball threads...

I think we will not have trouble moving the ball. I just hope that we can hold on to the ball and take advantage of field position. Vidor will be fired up, as they always are when Central is in town. This will be an exciting contest, that's for sure.

They tried it on us a few years ago too. We had our hands full with Croak also. They gained like 5 yard on us the first time, and lost yardage the next 2 times they tried it in that game, I believe.

You know they don't respect this area anyway. They are like 'there is no way that Beaumont West Brook will have a chance to beat us. We will be the laughing stock of the state'. I assume you gave them 21 points becuase of our suspect secondary. I have a good source that tells me Dayton maybe getting some injured players back this week, 1 of which is a starting safety. Yes, and 21 points is all they will score even when playing their best football. BTW, happy to hear yall have players coming back.

If you can get pressure on Bellows then Ozen have a good chance of winning. If that kid can just sit back there comfortable and find Cardenas, Nederland will put up big numbers. I don't think Nederland can pull this off because they will not be able to stop the run. Point blank...

That's good that it is possible for Brook to have a game soon. This is a good team and they deserve to play. I hope the Clear Creek game goes through.
