1. What a pair AJ and Nelson would have made...AJ with his high throws and Nelson pulling them out of the air...would be hard to intercept.
 2. I think we were to spoiled by the circus act known as Nelson.  ;)
 3. Wish him well in his endeavors. Im sure Coach Faircloth will have someone lined up.
 4.
Very reliable as in his teammates.
Well thats not good.  :(
 5.
Heard WR Chipman quit the PNG football team yesterday. According to Faircloth he was suppose to be their playmaker this year.
Is this from a reliable source?
 6. At least we have the harder part of our schedule late in the season...hopefully we will have gained momentum by then and be on a roll, like the last 2 seasons.
 7. LOL..We went from smack talking to a full blown commercial for Larrys French Market and Judices. They should feed us for free.  ;D

Want to witness the PNG atmosphere I've heard about on this site. Also here there's a good seafood restaurant at 69 and 365.
That's the Schooner. Great restaurant. If you get there and decide you don't want seafood, they also grill a great steak. They make some great au gratin as well. Larry's on 366 in Groves is also good for seafood and cajun food and if you get hungry for Mexican food, Tequila's on Gulfway in Port Arthur (not the one on 69) isn't too far out of the way and is definitely worth the detour. If you want BBQ, it's hard to go wrong with Billy Joe's on 366 in Port Neches and a favorite for hamburgers (as mentioned on this site) is Hambuger Depot on Nederland Avenue in (obviously) Nederland. Living so far away has made me put together a list of all the places I want to eat at when in town. ;D
Isn't there a place down by the Fina plant......Judices?
Thats Larry's...his last name is Judice. Mr G needs to chime in on the food there.
Judice's is on 7th street in PA, thats his store also. Larry's is better IMO, grest burgers!
Judices on 7th is his brother Al Judice..its a market with deli.

 11. Wow...Ozen going all the way to Dallas for a preseason game...safe travels Panthers, bring home a 20-4A win!
 12. I haven't seen anyone on here make excuses as to why we lost. Put simply...WOS was the better team..no shame in losing to them, and we have moved on. Sounds like the fans that were talking, were MAYBE joking, I don't think that they really considered any of the opposing teams players to be in their 20's. Every fan base has a few out of hand people. My lil Indians are 10 and 12 and sit in the stands every Friday...#1 PN-G fans...they are not disrespectful, or ignorant.    P.S. I love it when we play the Jags...always a good game.
 13. Google "kneeling for an injury"...originated with soccer, to keep kids from running around. You will also find other schools in different states having this same discussion. Most of the Coaches weighing in on the subject do not want their players kneeling due to cramping, which can lead to more injuries. Our players stand quietly, some get water...how is this a sign of disrespect? Our fans clap when the injured player leaves the field. I say we can agree to disagree and play on. It doesn't make PN-G a bad football program. Come sit in our stands, we are actually pretty likable folks..for the most part  ;D
I for one, am not kneeling in the stands, so you must be talking about the 16 to 18 yr old boys that are on the field. When you become coach at PN-G then you may make the rules, but for now you are accusing young boys of not having respect, which I assure you they do. Why is "kneeling" a sign of respect? Are we suppose to do it because everyone else does?
C'mon everybody lets just "Tebow" together and calm down [IMG][Hidden Content]]
Now your picking on my man Tebow..its on  ;D
No. Smoking Baby just finally figured out the Dayton jokes have gotten stale. ;D
Smokin realized that no one on this board cares about the mound OR Dayton.  He's gotta get someone stirred up and who better to pick on than the NDNs. I love to give it to the NDNs (as much as the next Bulldog Fan) BUT I have ALWAYS said this about the Purple Pride in serious conversation.... They have such a unique tradition that I HAVE NEVER seen anywhere else. Their fans follow any team BETTER than any other I have ever seen.  You have to admire their loyalty to their school colors, I have NEVER seen people more dedicated to wearing "purple" on Fridays no matter where they live (presently). You gotta hand it to the Indians, some of the people hate you, the others want to beat you and a few want to actually be like you (but can't) BUT only one can be your rival......and I am sure glad it's us, from a Nederland Bulldog. How many high school football rivaliries are known only by initials......MCM????  That's says it all.
This is an awesome post.  Nothing like MCM!!  Even with the rivalry we always cheer each other on in the playoffs.  Yes I have purchased the dreaded black and gold shirts before for my kids.  Don't tell anyone.  :o 8) ;D  I even have pictures of a former Bulldog football player in a purple playoff shirt.  :o
I have several Nederland shirts for my lil Indians...for Nerd Day  ;D

 18. Redskin player injured now...not one person took a knee..hes being wheeled off now
 19. Taking a knee is not the only way to show respect...we clap and cheer when the player exits the field. The taking of a knee was so the kids would be stationary and not running around while the injured player was being tended to.
 20. You know we are just playing like this to surprise everyone...prepared to be wowed come district...this is the attitude I'm taking..  ;D
Guessing WOS is gonna win state after last night
;D They better..after kicking our butts..first game at home..on our new turf...they just better
 23. Watched the game at the Reservation and then on fox..the camera catches things that you just can't see from the stands...we didn't look all that bad. WOS is crazy fast...I think the fastest we will meet this year...AJ had a scout watching...they see something in him..if i remember correctly, he wasnt even our JV QB...and didn't get much playing time behind Miller last year..give him time to get rolling. Also couldn't see from the stands from where I was sitting but could see on TV...Walkers got some nice foot work and we have him for 3 years. And also have to remember ..Coach Faircloth doesn't open the playbook before district. Defense is doing better than they did at this time last year...Not bad with the the loss of Romero. We might not have the biggest RB..but looks like he can thread himself thru the littlest of holes. Not giving up on the Indians. BTW..I stay in stands till boys go to the locker-room ..also that mass exit someone said they saw after the band played at halftime was a rush to the concession and bathroom...some might have left..but alot trickled back to the stands.
