Not counting FBM out, but will they have it together before their game with TC next week. They have Dayton the last game of regular season, so they should be ready for that one. If TC can beat them, I think FBM will be out of the hunt for DC.

TC will be a huge test. We've got to find a way to be productive on Offense. IMO the District Championship will come down to TC, Dayton or us.

It's a lot more than poor coaching that had a team with 10+ D1 players roll out of Port Neches with a goose egg. Good coaching with 1 D1 player did that. Beat them once maybe a fluke, beat them twice.....

Defensive scheming was on point. So I do think PNG had a little to do with that 0 on the other side of the scoreboard.

The sophomore QB can pass. Several right in the hands of receivers and dropped. But shut out FBM in the 1st district game. Defense!

Not going to lie, we're probably fixing to get utterly thrashed. This will be a revenge game for them. I wouldn't judge the season by this game though. Hopefully Coach J has some tricks up his sleeve to keep it respectable. Will Shea be back for this game? Will both of our QB's be on the field in some aspect? While so far we seem to be running parallel to last season, with a little more hiccups on the offensive side of the ball, it does not feel the same. This team is clawing out a place of it's own.

Well, it does probably affect the morale of the team, but PNG was a state runner-up, so there's that. PNG is playing down next Friday. We've gotten beat by the little team from Orange more times than not. Because WOS is a measuring stick, that's why we play down. No shame in getting beat by them. Disclaimer: I'm in no way comparing PNG to WOS. I wouldn't dare..lol

In layman terms, it looks better to get beat by a Mediocre 6A, than a smaller school. But still.....
