Certainly all good points, 7th grade football coaches may not be on their way to the NFL but they do have a tough road ahead of them. I have also heard about teams have 75 kids show up to play and only 20 have ever played before, the best coach would have a tough time with that.

I think you picked the wrong one for an upset there Mr.hvac....Birddog is not lieing about having their starters sitting the 2nd half of every game except the game against PNG-G. They would have scored 100 against PNG-P last week if they kept their starters in.

Sure it would , all games would be different if played again. That is simply stating the obvious,  you learned and they learned, different doesnt mean the outcome would change.

You could charge admission like several of the fields do, this would help guarantee some income although it will be hard to police as well because most fields have multiple entrances. I personally dont like concession food and wouldnt buy it if I had too. I will bring a cooler and keep it in my truck if I get "policed" too hard.

I'm not done, I could do this forever. I laughed when I saw the shirts yesterday because it portrays the typical Vidor arrogance, or should I say the typical Vidor varsity arrogance. Varsity is really all that matters anyway.

I hope Jr. Red thinks they get the nod too...if anyone watched both teams play a "real" game yesterday I'm sure you saw a clear difference in the two teams....

Last year we used several composite types but we had problems with the bat becoming "dead". I dont mind paying the money but I want a bat that will last all season. Let me know what you use and if you suggest it or not. Thanks
