Jasper has some good things going their way.  Key ingridents in place just gonna depend on how well and how quick they get it pulled together and build the confidence.  Things sounding good though. Jasper could really make some noise early!!

I root for the underdog usually...you know the smaller school that is not supposed to have a shot at the bigger bully....so i guess in pams case i root against pam in non district but then when district starts by my own logic im pullin for pam!!

With the talent pam has had i could have coached that many wins..just sayin with the right coach you could be braggin about much more than a few wins over pasadena schools in the playoffs

Some schools just will never know tradition and pride like H-D.  Some very talented teams in the 80's, 90's and 2000's also. I dont see where anyone got owned.  I read from that exactly the point i was trying to make.  This is what i got out of that...we know we have been below par lately but we hope that has changed with the kids seeming to want to participate more but we are not completly sure about that but if they do we should be better!  Oh yea wr dont have a qb yet but thats ok we hope to develope one..!!!  The aspects of the game your trying to sell has to be proven on the field not sold on a message board.  Actual results of previous sucess along with recent success and results of what is coming back is what i base my opinion of how good ur team might be on.  You can preach all day about what ec sa lovelady garrison or anyone else does and it doest matter.  HD is going to have to prove themself.  You cant come off a 4-6 season losing several key players with no established qb and demand the respect your asking for!

Id say 5th is pretty fair and accurate.  Silsbee and wos are a no brainer.  Buna will be playin wos and silsbee 2nd string by half.  Bc will be better game but even though bc lost several i think return enough to take buna.  Buna should be the favorite over both hf and hj.  Hf will give them the better game of these two and should be close.  Although hj returns several kids and should have better numbers but still not enuff for this district and buna is their only hope for not turnin in another ofer season.  I dont like bunas chances against OF even though new coachs. They not only play them at OF but at end of season with a complete season w new staff and the short week after a beating by wos.  I like 5th and dont see them doing any better than that but a 6th place wouldnt surprise me at all.

They have had great success. Im not trying to take anything away from what they have done.  I just simply gave my prediction that they will lose to NS, Laporte, and one I think they will give up one that they shouldnt.  Just a prediction.  Oh Ghost, you wanna know why I think that?  I think they will lose to NS and Laporte because they will just be that much better and PAM wont be able to match up with either this year.  The third lose im just saying I could see one of next three teams outplaying them and PAM giving up one they shouldnt.  Just a thought! As for the playoffs, well see.  They have had a pretty easy route 3 deep the past few years and I dont see that changing this year and I could see that being a good possiblility.  I agree that Coach Harrison has had better success the past few years and improved that program considerably.  Like I said though, I think the pretty soft schedule 3 deep has been very benfical to this success.  I like Coach Harrison and glad to see things improving at PAM but I still think that there is alot of talent in Port Arthur and I think that coaching is still what seperates PAM from the big boys of 5a.  Just my opinion!

They will lose to GPNS and Laporte (no contest) and will not dissappoint me this year with one of their typical let down games against a deerpark, or channelview, where they just get outplayed for no good reason.  jmo

Memorial will be lucky to finish 3rd in district and will end up with at least 3 loses

[/quote] I am not a stat junkie and I dont not have a problem.  Well I'm about 81% sure I dont have a problem and 19% unsure.  I would say that I wake up 320 of the 365 days pretty sure I dont have a problem.  The other 45 days I think I can contribute 80% of them days to hangovers, 10% to gas, and the other 10% to a leaking diaper because I sleep with a 1 year old.
