Hey HD, go back and read the very first post on this thread.  There is some very good advise on that post!

So I will agree with one thing!  HD has a history of winning but not a tradition!  The reason you dont get respect that you think they deserve is not because they havent done it, it was just in 1939 and no one is around to remember it!  ;D

actually it says 518 wins and according to records its only a 61.82 percent winning record, nevermind the fact that your numbers are wrong again!  but most of these stats your talking about are dated pre 1970.  Just curious whats the record for the past 20 years?  How many state championships and what is winning percent for the past 20 years?  Ive looked,,not so pretty is it??  Thats the difference between history and tradition!!!

If your looking for that All District player or even next level player in Kirbyville then you wont find it like we are used too.  Kville does have several kids returning with good talent though.  Dont count them out yet!  Kville D will be returning alot of key players.  Defense should be much improved with new coachs and kids returning.  Kville played last year with a very young O line due to some injuries and kids leaving.  They get a few of them back from injury and with the experience the fresh and soph's got last year should have a much better year!  With the schedule they played last year I wouldnt gauge how well they do in this new district by their record from last year.  Kville will make some noise this year in this district  I think Newton will be that much better than everyone else this year and have no problems with the sweep but teams like Woodville, EC, and Anahuac, look out!  your road to the playoffs just got a little bit rougher!

Im not saying anything this year.  Last year before the season i predicted a 3-7 season (even though it was close) I like to have got stoned to death.  So Im just going to say go cats!
